Chapter 4: Plan in Action

Tails knocked on the door and waited to be let in.

The king heard the knock and stepped away from his desk and sighed as he approached the door. He then opened the door to reveal a fine young gentleman, he knew right away this young man must have been one of the young suitors. The king could tell that this young man was quite the fine individual. So he smiled and let in the young man.

Tails walked in and stood in front of the king's desk as the king closed the door and turned around to face the boy.

Tails bowed down to his king and then spoke further, "Your highness I just dropped by to give you a warm welcome home, and I am also hear to state that I am one of the suitors you called for your daughter. It is a pleasure sire."

The king looked at Tails and then looked at his list to make sure he was a suitor and found that Tails was one of the few suitors there were. "So tell me Mr. Prower what are your intentions if you ever were to get with my darling little girl ?" He asked the young nobleman.

"Well sir I plan to make her happy, to give her love, to give her a happy life and to give her the life she deserves," he told the king while thinking. "Now I've got Fiona in the palm of my hands."

The king thought about it for a second, "Ok because I think you're better than that snot green slime I will give you the chance to date my daughter," he told the young man.

Tails then had a large smile appear on his face. Finally she was his. "Thank you sire you will not regret this I promise you," he said as he exited the king's quarters with a gleeful smile. He was finally going to get what he always wanted. A woman he could have for himself. Then he started to walk down the hall towards the main hall.

Fiona was still walking down the hallway going to find her father so she could ask him what he thought about Scourge. Because he never really said anything. As she walked down the long hallway she was so lost in thought that she didn't see where she was going and bumped into somebody.

She looked up from the floor and saw it was Tails again. "I am such a cluts."

Tails looked at her and then took her hand and kissed it. "No problem m'lady I have no problem with bumping into you, and you wanna know why?"

"Ok, why?" she asked with a smirk on her face.

"Because one day you and I will be married," he told her with a smirk on his face.

"What since when?" she asked worriedly.

"Your father and I had a little chat and he thinks I am best suited to be with you."

Fiona was starting to freak out, this boy was cute but she loved Scourge. Now she knew she just had to speak with her father now more than ever. "Excuse me Tails but I have to go." She then got up and ran off.

Tails just watched her run off and still had a smirk on his face, only this time it was more sinister. "Soon my princess, soon."

Fiona ran towards her father's room as quick as a whip, and when she finally came to his door she took a minute to catch her breath. Then she knocked on the door lightly hoping he would be in there. She waited a couple of seconds and then the door opened revealing her father.

"Sweetie, what brings you hear?"

Fiona pushed away her father and walked into the room. The king then closed the door and turned to his daughter. "What's wrong?" he asked curiously.
