"Hey I'm going to need you to watch Oak for tonight" Darren hand Vince a backpack "She needs to study on her exams so no late night activities" He glanced over at Oak who just looked away for the past five months she wasn't headling her parents divorce to well even if she was just 14 she didn't understand the seturation. She hated how busy Darren was with his job, hated being between her fathers who fought over days to keep her like she was an item and not capable to chose for herself but she ended up with Vince who didn't over look her feelings. "Okay I got it Darren, come on Oak lets go." Vince smiled Oak gave a happy chirp "Call me if anything happens!" Darren yelled across the yard "Alright!" Vince shouted back with a frustrated tone. He shut the door looking at Oak thought the rear view mirror "Sorry kiddo you had to be in that. I got a interview today it's going to take awhile you can set in the car or tag along" Oak gave a smile. "Sure I'll tag along where is it at...?"

=Museum of nightmares=

"Wow this is so cool!" Oak beamed "Oak stay close and don't touch anything" Vince tightened his neck tie. "Oh hello you must be...Vincent Helio-trope?" A women called from the front desk "Heliotrope, yes that's me" He replied. The women smiled "I'm sorry not really good with names, my name is Zara it's nice to meet you mister Vince" The soft gray sheep shook his hand "It's nice to meet you too, Zara." Vince smiled in responce "Your're here for the interview I'm guessing" she added Vince gave a nod "Welcome, I'll show you to my father." "Oh." Vince followed the young sheep "My father built all this, its one of his weird collections always a fan of the "dark arts" if you know what I mean?" She gave a small laugh Vince eyed the tall figure holding a sword looking upward "Oh him...that's theodore Roosevelt he's my favorite." She informed Vince gave a confused look he gazed at figure before moving on. "Your father, he seems like a very smart man for building all of this." Vince's eyes moved around taking in the seenery. "Well after my mother passed away he fell apart never been the same since this museum is all he has left...." Zara sighed "I'm sorry." She let out "No, no it's alright, he has you doesn't he?" They stopped "Well we haven't gotten along for a few years, he's retiring this week." Zara cleared her throat "anyways his office is down that hallway" she pointed "Thanks again Zara" Vince gave a half smile "Oh by the way snake, use your words carefully and stand straight he's a very picky guy when it comes to picking employees." Vince gave a nod taking a deep breath before knocking on the fine carved wooden door. "Come in!" Vince straightened up walking into the huge office from floor to ceiling where windows that stretched across the room that over looked a forest from outside. Vince scanned the office it was massive and filled with what seemed to be ancent artifacts of some kind. "Like what you see?" A deep gravely voice spoke from behind startling Vince "Ah! Oh...I apologize, sir....it's a nice collection of rocks you got here." Vince swollowed his eyes met with the dark tall ram's "You think so?" The sheep chuckled "Why yes, I'm not much about history but I think that right there is a rock with writing on it." Vince pointed the sheep raised his eyebrows eyeing Vince "Those would be hieroglyphics on a slab..." He recorectted the snake "Heh, I knew that I'm just making sure you know that...." Vince coughed. "Tell me mister Heliotrope have you ever had an interview before?" Vince bit his lip "Yeah I have." Vince's face dropped the ram laughed "You already amuse me, come have a seat." Vince took his place at a huge mahogany desk "You seem to know a lot about these slabs sir" Vince tried to make it less awkward "Quite, they where found in Egypt their hieroglyphics that belong to a pharaoh named Ahkmenrah who died in battle at a young age, it's said he had built a gateway to the gods and with all the slabs put together the gate would open. Fifty five years I've been trying to solve it...sadly a part was missing I could never find it." The sheep turned to look at Vince who seemed enlightened "Forgive me young snake I don't want to bore you with my stories." He chuckled "Where are my manners? I'm Bo" The sheep placed two shot glasses down whipping off his hand before extending it towards Vince who took the firm hand shake "Nice to meet you mister Bo." Vince watched him pour whisky into each glass "It's nice to have met you, Vincent" Bo picked up his glass Vince followed the two glasses clinged.

"How was it dad?!" Oak crossed her fingers in anticipation Vince head hung low "Dad?..." Oak dropped her hands "I got the job!" He hugged his daughter. "I hear excitement, so did you get it?" Zara asked Vince nodded "Wow, what did you do to get my father to hire you he turns down most people." Vince shrugged "He just thought I was interesting, I guess" Zara patted his back "Glad you got it, you'll start tonight if you don't mind?" She asked "Oh no..." Vince looked at Oak "I'll have to drop her off at her dads-" Oak back away "I'm not going, I can help around I won't get into trouble I just don't want to go home anytime soon" she protested Vince scratched his head in thought "We don't mind volunteers" Zara chimed in "Your father?" He added "Oh him, come on the old timer never leaves his office to interact with others he won't notice and I could use some help with paper work" Zara gave winked at Oak "Alright, but she needs to do some work for exams for history" Vince glanced at Oak "I promise dad I'll study" she held up her pink finger "Okay" Vince locked pinkies "Wonderful! I know my history very well so I can help if you need it." Zara clapped her hands in delight.

"I have your uniform ready at the desk..." Zara patted a brown paper bag "You said your father doesn't come out his office often" Vince gazed across the museum at Bo who was studying one of the displays "Oh he's been like this all week, like I said it's hard for him to let go of this place" Zara placed a thick book beside Vincent's uniform "He doesn't have to retire he looks good for his age" Vince remarked "He's been ill recently and you should see him most days" she looked over at her father who shuffled around the displays passing on lookers then the sheeps eyes cought theirs. "Oh god He's walking this way." Zara pretended to act busy. "Your still here?" Bo's magenta eyes shifted away from his daughter who was rigid from her fathers presents. Vince's stomach twisted "Did I catch you in a bad time?" Bo asked "Oh no, it's fine...yeah I just wanted to check the place out more to know its grounds" He gave a nervous chuckle "Ah, understandable I suppose, you wouldn't mind if I had a few words with you?" The sheep placed his hand on Vincent's shoulder "Sure sir I woundnt mind" he took a quick glanced at Zara she kept her head down as she fussled with blank stacks of paper "Oh good." Bo pulled Vince aside.

Bo took Vince to the far back into a room that was filled with old relics of Egyptain artifacts it was hard to keep up with the sheeps slow pace "This must be your favorite room?" Vince broke the silence "It's one of my found parts of this museum yes. Egyptians believed in the after life preserving the dead was something they commonly did. For example our mummy here is about 900 years old almost a thousand he's been kept so well attached..." Bo reached into his coat pocket pulling a silk cloth he coughed into it before placing it back. Vince shuffled his feet why did Bo bring him here he pondered seeing the sheep gaze at Ahkmenrah as if he was looking for something. "So what was it you wanted to talk about sir?" Vince mentioned hoping he didn't come off sounding rude "Forgive me my mind wonders off some times" Bo made a gesture with his hand before replying "I just wanted you have my number in case something where to happen or have any questions" Bo handed vince his card "I doubt you'll need it" he smiled Vince took the card "I'll keep in mind" Vince tucked it away. "So this pharaoh was the one who tried to open a gate to the after life for immortality?" Vince asked "Correct" Bo replied "He was dug up by the Nile river in 1920 in his tomb was that gold tablet" Vince leaned closer "What does it say?" He questioned "Dont know, the most important part is missing." Bo responded "Well sir, don't stop searching sometimes even the hardest things to find our always under our noses" Vince said. He watched Bo studied the mummy unhooking the guard reel to step closer "Well sir if you don't mind me I'm going to head back" Bo faced Vince "you go on ahead I hope you enjoy your first night." Extending his hand Vince shook it in return "thanks for enlightening me and I will" Vince replied "see you around sir" he added before redrawing his hand back. "Don't worry heliotrope we'll see each other around" Vince gave a nod allowing the sheep to proceed with his work.

"What do you think their talking about?" Oak asked tapping her phone on to check the time "Oh here he comes Oak" Zara said. Oak looked up "It's about time!" Vince gave a smile "Sorry about that sweetheart" he replied to Oak. Zara handed him his uniform and a thick book "what's with the book?" Vince asked "Oh information you need to know to be a whatchmen" she remarked. Vince took the book "Thanks for everything Zara" he said she gave a warm gental smile in return "Wish you luck tonight Vince I'll see you later on" Oak gathered her belongings "Thanks, see you later on, Come on oak say your thanks we'll be back" Vince walked off oak tagged along as Zara waved her goodbyes.
