I've never been so nervous in my lifetime. The only other time I was shaking this much was when I was in line for a roller coaster at Carowinds.
I invited the guys over. I made sure to clean the living room beforehand and have plenty of booze.
The afternoon started calm and fun, joking and laughing with beer in our hands. It was a normal afternoon for us.
I kept glancing at Jorel, only looking away when he looked at me. I looked up to see Charlie looking at me with a smirk. He had figured out about my little crush on tour last year, but promised not to say a word.
"I'm gonna get more booze." I say, getting up quickly. I walk to the kitchen, hearing someone follow behind me.
"Need help?" It was Johnny. I shook my head, opening the fridge. I grab two six packs from the bottom of the fridge.
"Hey Danny, is something wrong?" Johnny asked, leaning against the counter.
"Yeah. I-I'm fine." I shrug. I walk back to the living room, putting the beer on the table. Johnny came back and sat down beside Charlie, eyeing me carefully.
It only took another hour for most of us to be drunk. Johnny and I stayed somewhat sober, only a little tipsy, although I was way more drunk than Johnny.
"Hey! You guys wanna play a game?" Jorel asked, sitting up on the armchair he sat on.
"What game?" Charlie slurred, taking another gulp of his drink.
"Spin the bottle!" Jorel said, getting out of the chair. We all agreed, moving the coffee table out of the way so we could sit in a circle. Charlie grabbed one of his empty beer bottles, putting it in the middle.
"If the bottle lands on you, you have to confess something that no one knows about you." Jorel said with a smirk. Charlie spun the bottle, watching it as it spun. It slowed, passing by Matt, Dylan, then Jorel. It stopped, pointing straight at me. My heart pounded against my chest, my thrust closed up. It was either now or never.
I took a deep breath. All my nervousness and anxiety built up. "I'm transgender."
Silence filled the room. No one spoke. Everyone was frozen, staring at me. My hands shook, as I looked down at my lap.
That was a big mistake.
"Are you fucking with us?" Charlie said, barely above a whisper. Tears burned my eyes. I can't cry. Not right now.
"N-No, I'm not. I'm a transgender male. I-I was born a girl." I looked up, seeing different looks from everyone. My eyes immediately went to Jorel. His eyes full of sympathy and something else I couldn't point out.
"Danny...we love you." Johnny hugged me close. I bury my face in his chest, tears going down my face.
"Y-You guys don't c-care?" I shake slightly, holding onto Johnny as he rubbed my back to calm me down.
"Of course not! We're just glad you told us." Dylan said with a soft smile. Everyone nodded in agreement.
All my anxiety was gone. I relaxed into Johnny's chest.
I was accepted.
I was okay to be myself around them.
I didn't have to hide anything.
