The thunder roared softly that night. The rain hit the ground like a thousand needles..as always in the small town of Breckinridge it always seemed to rain nonstop. People who lived there were used to the freezing conditions of the town and welcomed the rain as if it were a gift sent from the heavens. It did help the crops grow in the little farming town but to Ryan it was a nightmare. Every crash of thunder sent chills down his spine..he never liked the rain..when it rained it would make his mother mad and all she had to offer was violence..it didn't make him particularly sad..he just wondered when it would end. That's all. His mother passed away three years ago but yet he didn't feel any pain in his heart like he expected. He was undead..nothing but a corpse of what was a human. He felt at times he was still human..like he could still feel a heart beat in that cold chest of his. It was impossible though and he knew it..but time could never tell. He looked out the window making sure the rain had fully passed before he got up pulling on his signature huff hoodie and a mask. A white mask with blood dripping from the eyes to signify tears..he wasn't some cheesy as murder mystery killer..he was a stone cold vampire thirsty for a taste of sweet sweet human blood. One sniff of the air and he already knew his prey was near..practically breathing down his neck. Ryan opened his window landing on his feet when they made impact on the ground. He felt the rich feeling he always got when he was hunting his prey..it meant something to him almost..but he didn't know what..he felt like he was getting closer and closer to finding the fuck that killed his mother. Ryan knew she didn't mean to hurt him at times. She was just angry at his father for being a drunk asshole who she knew snuck out every night just to have an affair with a drunk whore down at the depot.
Ryan hid behind a house, He was sure if he was alive his heart would be beating faster than ever but now that he was dead he didn't even care. He wished he could feel that nervous feeling that humans did..but nooo! He just had to run into a vampire one night and that vampire just had to fuck up and make him into a blood sucking demon! He had no time to think. Ryan felt his fangs pop out. Now was the time. It was like a flash before the crimson liquid spilled from the neck of the pretty girl that laid dead before him...it was such a pretty sight for him..he liked watching other people suffer more than him. "Didn't anyone teach you to not play with your food?" A guy with messy brown hair walked up..his icy blue eyes making contact with Ryan's green ones "I think you dropped this.." he picked up Ryan's mask "or..is it not yours?" Ryan growled and stood reaching for it..the guy pulled it out of Ryan's reach watching the raven stumble forcing the raven to lean on the brunet "careful there.." the brunet whispered. His lips ghosting over Ryan's ear "shut up fuck head give me the mask before I shove a stapler up your ass and twist it." Ryan was beyond pissed. No one could do such a thing and get away with it "are you really?" The stranger said his finger underneath Ryan's chin making the raven look at him "id like to here you moan my name..it would be so cute..my names Jack by the way..and you are?" Jack smirked but immediately frowned when he didn't get what he wanted "my name is none of your fucking business!" Ryan's eyes gleamed with hatred..his voice seething with disgust.."well then I guess I get to claim this mask..finders keepers right?" Jack sighed "oh well..it will look better on me anyways.." Ryan huffed. He was annoyed already today and now this guy was just crossing the line!
"Ryan! It's Ryan alright?!" He ripped the mask from jack's grip going to leave..but the brunets hand grasped his wrist gently.."don't leave.." it almost seemed like he was begging Ryan not to leave him alone..but Ryan was stubborn..he pulled his hand from Jack's and quickly walked away hoping to never see the creep again..************************************
