The New Member (IM5)

Intro

Cole's POV

*Flashback*

It has been a few months since Dalton left the band. We have been touring and stuff with just the four of us while Jill was working on finding a new member.

While we were on the east coast touring, we found out that when we got back to LA we would have auditions and they would be nationwide.

Jill said we get to have a say in who is the new member so that's good I guess.

It was our last day on the east coast. We were flying back to LA tomorrow. Right when we get back Jill told us we have to go meet with some people because the first set of auditions were tomorrow and we were required to be there.

I really wish we could of at least had a day off since we have been touring for a week.

It's actually really late. I should be sleeping because we have to get up early for our flight back to LA.

I got woken up by someone shaking me.

"Cole wake up" it was Dana

I groaned.

We have to leave for our flight.

"Fine" I said as I got up.

I got up and took a quick shower and got dressed.

Jill said not to wear sweats because we are going straight to the auditions.

I put on jeans and a random shirt. With a jacket over that. I didn't feel like doing my hair so I just put on a beanie. I also put on my vans.

I walked back out to the hotel i was sharing with the guys room from the bathroom. I saw that all the guys were already ready. I gathered all my stuff and put it in my suitcases.

I grabbed my phone and headphones and put them in not wanting to talk to the other guys.

"C'mon guys it's time to leave for the flight" Jill said grabbing her things waiting for us.

I grabbed my things along with the other guys and walked out of the room. We walked to the elevator and got down to the lobby. We left in the car on our way to the airport.

When we got there, we went through security and everything. We had some time before our flight so we got something to eat.

Soon it was time to board the flight. We boarded. I just listened to music the entire time.

I think I fell asleep because I woke up to Gabe shaking me.

"Dude we landed in LA" Gabe said

I got my things and left the plane with the other guys and Jill.

We got our bags and left the airport and got in a car on our way to the first auditions.

We stopped for food along the way.

We got to the place the auditions were being held at.

Jill said we just had to sit there and watch everyone as they sang. And ask basic question like name, age, things like that.

Kinda like on X-Factor or American Idol. But without telling them if they made it or not, because we had to go to other major cities in other states.

We were sitting listening to every person that came out. We had a sheet in front of us and we would check the name by the ones we liked and we would write down what we liked about them.

Some of the people were good some were bad, it was kinda boring.

At the end of the auditions, me and the other guys would make a list of all the people we liked and we would go from there.
