An: Heh I'm sorry I've been gone for so long. BUT IM BACK. ISH. ILL HAVE A JOB SOON BUT ILL BE WRITING. MOST OF THE TIME. Ok anyway. Let's get started.
Pearl: Whitish, valuable, shiny, a precious jewel.
Alexander Hamilton stood on the balcony of his hotel room, waiting, watching. The waves beneath him were once a calming sight and sound. But as of late? No. They were a terror.
"Alex?" Paul called out to his brother. He found him shivering slightly on the overlook. "Alex don't torment yourself."
"But I just can't stop. Those people. My people." Alex said in a barely audible voice.
"Not anymore. You have new people. And those old people want you to move on."
"But how?"
"By remembering them but looking ahead. I know it will take time. But trust me, we're all here for you." With that, Paul wrapped an arm around his brother.
2 Weeks Later
Angie POV:
It was midnight when she got the call. Gary and Izzy were coming to town, along with Rick and Roberta. Her two favorite actors and her favorite directors were going to be in HER TOWN! And they would be putting on a musical. She was friends with Gary's nephew, Sid and Rick's brother and sister in law Vince and Gwen. Sid had given her the call. And 3 things were about to fall into place.
1. She knew John had always wanted to be an actor, but no one in town would cast him because Henry would intimidate anyone who wanted to. She knew Rick, however, wouldn't fold under his pressure, giving John his chance.
2. She wanted an excuse to see Sid again. For purely innocent, and friendly reasons. His eyes certainly didn't give her butterflies. His smile didn't make her giddy. She didn't blush when he complimented her.
3. This Alex kid who was her neighbor looked like he could use a little fun. The bags under his eyes and his constant yawning were a testament to his lack of sleep, but his faded smile showed a deeper pain.
Yes, this play could solve at least two of the three issues. Angie only needed to plan.
Alex POV:
It was 3:17 in the afternoon when he saw it. The theater door was propped open, even though Kenna and Vienna had told him it had been closed for a few years.
Eliza was walking beside him, they were in a study group and they needed coffee desperately, and while on the street she had pointed it out to him. Lights were yet to be lit, but he could hear a vacuum from inside, as well as hammering and shouting. But Eliza tugged him along.
"Alex, coffee awaits."
Still, he couldn't help but wonder, what was going on.
John POV:
It was 6:49 when his father told him he was not allowed near the theater.
"That Galavant family is in town starting a play soon. I won't have my son be a part of that. No," Henry said with a certain finality, "My son is much too manly."
Peggy, who had been invited over for dinner, along with Laf and Herc, could barely contain themselves. They had been friends with John for several years. They knew that Henry couldn't stop John from doing anything. Well, they thought anyway.
"Yes Father." With that, John exited the table, beckoning for his friends to follow. "We're gonna do homework!"
But instead, they all looked through Peggy's big book of monologues.
Gary's POV:
It had been 12 years since he had actually lived in Seattle. Sure he visited every now and then, but living there, that was a different feeling. His wife and his nephew were more than excited to be back, he however, was anxious. The last time he lived here, his neighbor had been Henry Laurens, the most stuck up, homophobic asshole in the entire state. He knew Henry had a kid, and boy did he feel sorry for they child.
But he never expected to have him and his entire friend group waltz into his life and turn the entire neighborhood upside down.
