Here I am, doing something I never thought I would be doing. It's currently five in the morning of march eighth, and I am getting ready to say goodbye to my mom. I along with eleven other students, which I only know one. Are traveling over three provinces, to Ontario for a week. The past three months flew by, it was December when my mom asked me sign up. Thankfully, I was able to convince Destiny, my cousin to come along. Now we're both standing outside of Brentwood college, my mom beside me and Destiny's dad beside her. I look around at the other kids, I don't know a single one. Since Jess and Darla our chaperones aren't every organized people, we've only had one meeting in the last three months. So, none of us know each other but we all have at least one person we know. After the goodbyes we all head onto the bus, as I walk away from my mom she's yells "Are you sure your not too sick to go, Jess" I see her smile, I know she's half joking and half serious. "Bye, Mom." I yell. As I sit down I look over to Destiny who is texting her mom, I lean my head on the window. Many thoughts are trying to fight their way into my mind but I refuse to listen. I know that I would just be scaring myself doing that, I slowly begin to fall asleep, someone is shaking my shoulder I open my eyes as Destiny says "We're here now, Jess." I grab my bag and follow destiny off the bus and grab our suitcases. I start to think about my "Twin" The other eleven students from Ontario, we've all been partnered up. I have a guy named Allen, I've talked to him for about a month but I'm still not sure how I feel about him. I do wish I had a girl twin, that would have been a lot easier to be comfortable with. "Who's wallet is this?" I hear Darla yell but I continue to stare at the ground, Destiny hits my shoulder so I look up to see all the other kids staring at me. Oh, I walk up to her smiling and grab my wallet. We head to the counter and sign in our bags and get our tickets. We go through the security and head to the waiting area, about an hour in they announce we have a five hour delay. I look over to Destiny and roll my eyes "We should have just taken the ferry over, we don't need to fly to Vancouver it's literally right there." I whisper to her then message my twin. Finally at eleven, after the five hour wait consisting me watching Netflix, talking to Allen and napping. We're finally boarding the plane, I've been so focused on not thinking of any of this. This is my first plane ride, and it doesn't help that I hate heights. My plan was to never catch a plane in my life, now that isn't going to happen. Destiny and I wait to load on last, She goes to her seat and I see that some girl is in my seat. I go up to Jess and ask her what to do, "Just find a empty sit, Jess." She says rather bitchy but I guess it's okay since she's pregnant.I walk up to a Chinese guy that is sitting alone and ask to sit. I sit down and look out the window and close my eyes, when we take off my stomach feels like it dropped, my heart feels like it stopped and my throats burns as I push my eyes tightly together. Fifteen minutes later we land, I thought the feeling of taking off was bad this is so much worse. After we all load off we meet inside, "Okay guys, we have fifteen minutes until our flight to Toronto. You can go get something to eat or wait here. And if you want to switch seats please, Don't. Kyla you took Jessica's seat when your assigned seat was perfectly fine for you to sit in." Jess finishes and hands us our tickets. Destiny and I go grab an ice tea and head back to the waiting area. "What seat are you at?" I ask her. "Um, 37A. Where are you?" I sigh over dramatically "38C" I drag out. We all line up to board, when we find Destiny's seat. We see that the seating is three to a row. Deagan one of the boys on the trip is sitting in the row I'm supposed to be in. "Do you know which one is 38c" I ask him, "I think it's the last one." He says, then I walk back to Destiny and tell her to get up. "I don't want to ask him to get up so I can walk through" I whisper to her and she laughs. I sit down at my seat and pray that no one is sitting between me and Deagan, but with my luck. Trey the other boy comes out of no where and says "Sorry" as he climbs over me to get to his seat. Well, this six hour flight is going to be so much fun. I think dryly, about two hours into the flight I get bored of my music. Everyone on the plane but the boys and I, are watching a movie on the little tv screen. I want to but I don't know where the hell everyone as their headphones plugged in. After about five minutes of looking and not finding a headphone outlet I give up. I start to get annoyed of Trey, he has his legs wide open. So, their in my space and I have to lean to the right in order to not touch him. I slowly begin to fall asleep, leaning my head back. My eyes start to flutter open as I feel someone moving my head, When I open them I'm looking between the two seats ahead of me. I'm too tired to stay up so, I close them again and start to move a little. My eyes shoot open as I notice that I'm leaning on Treys shoulder with his head leaning on my head and our legs are leaning against each other's. I start to get really uncomfortable, but I don't want to move away obviously because Deagan is still awake and I don't want to look rude. Just as I was about to slowly move away from Trey, someone's elbow hits my head. I take this as my way out and let out a little groan and shift away from him to the right. I lightly open my eyes and see Deagan looking up at the person who hit me, glaring. Trey kind of stirs but leans back and falls back to sleep. Finally, after that horrible flight we land. We load off and head to the luggage pick up area. "Oh my lord, Destiny that was horrible." I say pretty whiny and lean my head on her shoulder. We're all sitting here as Jess is getting mad at the workers because "They aren't sure if they have our bags." We are all exhausted sitting on the chairs, we're the only people here. About an hour later, we have our luggage and are outside waiting for our bus to go to our hotel for the night. The hotel was about two minutes away from the airport and now we're all waiting for our rooms. Darla comes up to me and destiny "Okay, girls. You have to pick Janelle or Keisha because Kyla and savannah also want their own room so it's going to have to been three to a room. The three Brentwood girls and who ever you two pick then the others." I look over to where Darlas looking. One girl is smiling at the ground and the other looks mean. "The girl in the purple." I tell her, the one who was smiling for no reason. We finally head up to our rooms after Jess's long speech about sleep and thanking us for being "Sports" about the delays. On the way to the room we awkwardly talked to Janelle, as soon as we got in the room. I said I'm going to shower and I told them I just wanted a burger from room service. I get my P'js and head to the bathroom, I play my music before I get in. I sing along as I wash my hair. I get out and Janelle goes in to shower. Then destiny goes in, me and Janelle actually got along pretty well. We kind of just clicked, no awkwardness. Now, it's been an hour of us trying to get room service and they keep saying they'll call back in fifteen minutes. "Jess, wanna just walk over to Pizza Hut, the website says it's open until two." Janelle asks me, I nod. I look at Destiny "Oh, I'm not hungry" she says but she's just to scared to go she hates breaking the rules. We walk out of the room and head to the elevators, we think we head Darlas voice so we laugh as we run. We head back because the door was locked and I message Jess and tell her that we're hungry. Then about five minutes later the room service calls. At twelve we finally get our food and we can't even finish it, we go to bed because we have to get up at five again. When we wake up, I'm sneezing way to much and a runny nose. After doing my makeup and changing, I take a Benadryl praying that will help. Only I would get sick before a trip, I have a talent. When we get to the airport we board right away, thank god. Because that Benadryl is making me really tired. I sit with Destiny because savannah switched with some guy to sit with Kyla. I don't want to sit by a stranger again, thankfully no one else got on the plane. I fall right to sleep as the door closes, Destiny shakes my shoulder and tells me to buckle up. "You should sleep, you don't look good." She tells me, way to state the obvious. "I was sleeping but you woke up me." I say pretty cranky as I fall back to sleep. Destiny wakes me up after we've landing and everyone is already off the plane, I grab my bag and get off. As soon as I step off the plane the freezing wind hits my falls, I glare at the wind and step on to the ground. My foot slips as I put my other one down, I scream and fall forward but save myself in time. I groan as I walk towards the room, already in a bad mood. Destiny runs to my side as the door opens and we take a step in just to freeze in our tracks. There's a huge group of kids standing right by the door, my eyes go straight to Allen. The tallest of them, he has a navy blue shirt, brown work pants and timberlands on. "Bathroom" is all I say as I walk the opposite way not even caring where I was heading or if destiny was coming. I walk into the bathroom and lean against the sink with my eyes closed, Destiny goes into a stall to pee. Four of the girls rush into bathroom when Destiny comes to wash her hands. "My twin hugged me oh my god what the hell" "My twin shook my hand" "My twin just walked up to me and didn't say anything." We walk past them and out the door to grab our bags. We're standing there for a bit not paying attention to the other kids. A girl walks up to Destiny, she's short wearing leggings with rain boots and a huge green coat. Angel, her twin. After grabbing our bags we walk out side to see two yellow school buses. "How are we supposed to put our luggage on there?" I blurt out, "Here I can take it for you." Before I could reply their both walking to the back of the bus. I walk onto the second bus and awkwardly wait for them. When they get on, Destiny sits with me and we start to whisper. Destiny was taking but all I could focus on was Allen, he's being talking and laughing this whole time. I've never heard his voice and somehow I know it's him, "Your twin is actually really attractive, he doesn't look creepy. Like we thought he was gonna be." Destiny whispers and I laugh, but just as I laughed the whole bus quieted down. We're already leaning down so the other people couldn't tell if it was me or Destiny. "I like your laugh." Someone yells from the back, I look at Destiny with wide eyes. "What are you girls talking about?" Angel asks leaving towards us with pure interest in her eyes. We finally get to their school, after loading off and grabbing our bags we head inside. I stop to tie my shoe and try to open the door myself since everyone is inside already. I eventually get the door open and my bag through then I have to walk down stairs with it. As I put my foot on the floor and pull my bag it rams into my ankle. "Fucking Shit." I whisper to myself, I look up to see Allen staring at me. He's standing in a door way so I assume that's where I go. As I walk by him he says "Hola" I look up at him and give him a closed smile since I'm not in the mood. My shoulder brushes against his chest since he's on my way, I walk in to see everyone staring at us. I look back at him to see he's staring down at me, freaking tree. I walk to sit by Janelle since there isn't a spot by Destiny, Allen walks behind the bookshelf and leans his elbows down. He stares directly at me but I snap my eyes, I mean he should have been a decent person and at least came up to me at the airport. Not only that but he didn't even offer to help me with my suitcase, the only nice thing he did was waiting the door so I would know which one to go in. Carole one of their chaperones starts to talk about what we're doing today and James their other chaperone is writing on the white board. "Okay, we're going to introduce ourselves, where your from and who your twin is. James wrote down your name next to your twins name. I'll start, I'm Carole Randy from North Bay, Ontario." She looks over to the girl on her right, which is four girls away from me. Great, she stands up. She's pretty tall, she's one of the Brentwood girls, "I'm Chenoa Ally, from MillBay Vancouver Island and my twin is Summer." She sits then her friend stands up "I'm Meagan Adams from Shawigan Vancouver Island and my twin is Ryan." Dana, the last girl on the trip from Brentwood stands up. I drown out hers as my heart begins to beat. I absolutely hate talking in front of crowds, Jess who is next to me goes. I look at Destiny and she inhales then exhales. I copy her closing my eyes when I open them everyone is staring at me. I stand up and start off "I'm Jessica Harry from Malahat Nation Vancouver Island and my twin is." I trail off trying to remember his name. For some reason my mind is blank, I look at the board to see by my name is "Junior" my eyebrows fur together. Allen, that's his name. "Allen!" I finish without trying my arm flys up pointing at him, I got a little to excited about that. He grins at me as the others laugh, I'm not sure why but I sit down as I feel my cheeks heat up. It finally comes to Allen I look up from my lap, he's smiling. His smile is adorable. He slides his hand through his hair as he stands up fully. "I'm Allen Boissoneau Jr, brown drop dead gorgeous 5'11 please don't talk about my height I'm insecure. And my twin is Jessica." He stopped talking and was smiling at me but I was looking at him confused. He told me he was 6'4. "Your beautiful, Junior!" One of the guys yell. "Your 6'4 you loser." Another person tells, so he is 6'4. Since he was last Carole leads us to their gym for a cultural welcoming. Once we're done Carole stands up and says "Guys, find your twin and they will know what team you are in. There is fifteen minutes to build the sled, you get cardboard, a garbage bag, tape and scissors. When Destiny walks away I look over to Allen who's walking towards my general direction. I take a few steps towards, I was going to talk to him but as I get half way towards him some guy cuts me off. I sigh and turn around and go to the corner it looked like he was going to walk to, I stand every awkwardly and look back at Allen. He's talking to the guy who went up to him but he glances up at me, I snap my eyes without even noticing. "Hi, Jess right?" I hear a someone say over my shoulder, I jump away from the person scared. I look up at the girl with my eyes wide "Jesus, you scared the shit outta me." I tell her, "But yeah, I prefer Jess." She laughs then says "I'm Dana" we continue taking because we're both really uncomfortable. "Who's your twin?" I turn around and point to Allen, he's leaning on the wall now alone. "Oh, the drop dead gorgeous guy." She says, I laugh and nod. "Mines, Mackenzie the guy over there." She points to a guy probably around Allen's height and weight, "Why don't you talk to him, he looks nice." I ask, "I don't know it's just awkward." When the fifteen minutes is over we all head out the the back of the school. The lake is literally twenty feet away, their so lucky. Me and Destiny soon get bored of watching basically just the guys play on the sleds. We walk down the hill to the lake, When I see that the lakes frozen. "I'm gonna go on it." I tell her as I step down, "What if it breaks?" We both laugh. I continue waking about five feet out but I can't tell when the water starts because there's snow covering the ground. "How far?" I yell as I walk like I'm on minefield. Jess and Darla come out of no where and say "Jess careful, you don't want to break the ice." Destiny comes down after she gives Jess her phone, I walk over to destiny so we could take a picture. They tell us that we have to go up to the schools "Outdoor gym." We get over there and everyone is already separated into groups to build a fire and boil water. I sigh and walk to the group Allen is standing at, about ten minutes in I walk over to Destinys group. I lean my chin on her shoulder and start talking to her, finally ours bubbles and they start to yell. Then another group yells theirs is boiling, ten seconds later ours boils and our group starts to get mad about losing. We head back inside, and it's already three and the buses come at three ten. James writes where everyone is staying and Carole explains how we're getting there and that everyone is going to her house for supper. Turns out Destiny is staying with her twin along with a girl named Megan, and I'm staying at Carole's with Dana, Savannah, Deagan, Mackenzie and her two sons Ryan and Zack. Once they announce the buses are here, Carole asks me and Dana if we want to catch the bus with the boys or wait for her. Since she has to drop off Jess and Darla at her grandparents house. We decide to wait for her once everyone leaves, there's only Savannah who is asleep on the floor, Dana and I, Allen, Trey and Quintuin. Their waiting for Quintuins dad to pick them up, I take my candy out and share it with Dana. About twenty minutes later the boys leave, but when Allen got up. I looked at him somewhat expecting a goodbye, he stares at me as he walks out of the door but doesn't say anything. When I know for sure their out of the school I look over at Dana with wide eyes. "Oh my god that was terrible." I say a laugh, "I know! He was staring at your back the whole time we were talking." She says with disbelief, "I knowwwwww. I glanced over and saw him staring at me but I acted like I didn't notice." After this we got along better, laughing and making jokes. Probably an hour later Savannah wakes up and asks where Carole is. "She left like an hour ago." Dana tells her, "Wanna go see if there's anyone in the office?" Dana asks me. I nod and get up, when we get to the office we see her get off a car and walk towards the school. She walks in and laughs, she says "Scared I forgot about you guys?" We laugh and walk back to the resource room and wake up Savannah, we grab our bags. Once we load our suitcases in the back, I go sit in the passenger seat. When they get in Savannah screams as she drops her phone. "Oh, noooo!!" She screams, I laugh and ask "Is it cracked?" When I look back at her she has a really sad face and nods. About twenty minutes later we pull into a grocery store. "No frills?" I say and laugh, "I think it's our, Superstore" Dana tell me. "Okay, I need to go in and grab some plates and forks for tonight, you girls can come in and grab some snacks." Carole says and looks at us, me and Dana look at each other and nod, Savannah says that she'll stay on the car. "Lock the doors you don't want to get kidnapped now." I say just to bug her, I close the door and run to catch up to Carole and Dana. After grabbing some plastic forks, plates, pop and chips. We head to checkout and walk back to the car to see that Savannah actually locked the doors. I laughed as Carole unlocked it and said "You actually locked them?" She laughs and says "Yeah, you scared me." Once we pull out Carole glances over to me and says "That's something Junior would do." As she laughs, my eyebrows four together. "No, okay I don't get why we're twinned. I mean he would have been so much better twinned with one of the boys. He's so outgoing and loud and I'm so not." I laugh along with Savannah and Dana, "You guys are perfect together, the whole trip over we heard you laughing." Dana says, my head whips back to look at her with disbelief. "Okay, no. I've known Destiny my whole life, that's why I'm comfortable with her." I argue, they shake their heads and laugh. "That's what's weird Junior isn't ever like that, he's usually the one who sticks to himself. Today he was outgoing, but it wasn't my idea. When Jess, Darla and I face timed to figure out who to be partners. After I explained Junior they both looked at each other and said Jessica at the same time. They said your a outgoing, makes jokes all the time, and whenever your around the room as laughter." I look at her like what the fuck, I laugh and say "Whatttt? That's so weird, they both should know I'm not outgoing unless I know people. I am probably the worst person at making friends." She says "Well, you seem every outgoing. I did hear your laugh a awful lot today, I'm pretty sure everyone already knows you by your laugh." I shake my head as she continues, "I remember when I announced who everyone's twin is going to be, Junior stood up every dramatically and said "So, who's going to lucky enough to be twinned with this 6'4 drop dead gorgeous native?" Everyone laughed and I said "Your twin is Jessica, has a great personality, she's out going, makes a lot of jokes, she can make anyone laugh. Jess and Darla seemed to think you were the best person to be twinned with her." And as soon as he heard those things, he threw his arms up and yelled "Hell yes, I have the best twin." He looked at the other boys and said "Be jealous." Then I said "But, she's deathly allergic to kiwi, she's allergic to dogs and cats, also about every other exotic fruit." He freaked out starting yelling "I'm going to kill her, I'm going to accidentally hurt her. I have a dog, there's fur on all my clothes. All over my house, oh shit. She's going to die and I'm going to the reason her parents never see her again." It took us at least ten minutes to calm him down." She laughs as she finishes. Finally, we pull into a drive way. I assume is her house, we get off and start packing everything inside. She tells us the room on the right is where we're staying, we walk in. Savannah jumps onto the bed, which leaves Dana and I to a sit on one of the cot's. "So, Rock Paper Scissors?" I ask, Savannah says "In a bit, I wanna enjoy the bed right now because I know I'll lose." We laugh and start to talk for a bit. Savannah sighs and gets up, "Okay, I guess I'm ready to lose." She says and laughs. "How is this going to work, should we do one against one then the two winners battle for the bed?" Dana asks, I look at her confused not understanding what she meant. Savannah says, "No, okay we're all playing at once, say we play then Jess and I play rock and you play scissors. Now your out then it's me and Jess." She leans into me to start playing, I laugh and say "So, you just assume Dana will lose first?" Then we all start to laugh, "Yeah, I'm probably am going to lose first." Dana says and looks at her lap, after we all finish laughing. We lean in and put out hands up, "Rock, paper, scissors." We say in unison, I have a scissors, Dana has paper and Savannah has rock. As I'm looking at their hands, they both jump up and yell "OH! JESS IS OUT, SHES OUT!" They both look so happy and I start to laugh and shake my head. "We all lost" I say barely understandable because I'm laughing to hard. They both sit down and say "Oh" this makes me laugh harder. We hear the front door open and see some girls walk into the house. "Hey! You come here." Finally one of the girls walks to the door. "Pick a number." Savannah yells and I say "Pick a number but don't say it out loud who ever is closest to the number gets the bed tonight." She nods and says "Okay, I got one." Savannah yells "Four!" Then Dana yells "Eight." I look at them with wide eyes impressed at how fast they answered. "Seven" I say calmly. The girl looks at me then points at Savannah "She's closet it was five." She walks out as Savannah screams in joy and Dana and I groan and say "Nooo." Soon Janelle and Keisha come into the room and we talk for a bit, then Carole tells us supper is ready. After eating the girls want to go downstairs where the boys are, I didn't want to but seeing as Destiny isn't here yet and I don't want to sit alone. I follow them down there, when you get to the bottom of the stairs. There basically two sides, but there isn't a door between. We see a pool table, four of us walk up to it. Dana and I are a team then Janelle and Keshia are the opposite team. We play a couple games then Deagan comes over and asks to play, Janelle let's him take her spot. We play a couple games then Dana and Keisha say they don't wanna play anymore. So, it's me and Deagan, theres only one of each of our balls left and it's his turn. He's focused on aiming, I walk closer to him and lean down close to his face and whisper "Don't fuck up, Deagan." He scoffs and pushed the pool stick forward. I notice the door open but I'm to focused on this, the ball hits the all blue ball. Which is my ball, I jump up and scream. Then start to laugh, "Are you winning, Deagan?" I hear, I look up to see that Trey, Allen and Quintuin were the ones who walked in. The must have stopped when they walked in to watch. "He shoot my last ball in by accident. I win, sucker." I jump away from him and stick my tongue out. As Trey, Deagan and Quintuin laugh at my child behaviour, Allen looks at me with a blank stare then walks away towards the couch where the other boys are. I frown at him but brush it off, if he wants to that way he can be. Trey says "Since your so good at pool, let's see you beat me." I laugh and say "Bring it." We start to play, then when we both have one ball left. He goes to hit it, I lean down by him and say "Trey, wanna do me a favour." He glances up at me then I finish, "And loose?" He laughs and shakes his head, he pushes the stick forward and manages to hit the white ball but totally misses his all yellow ball. The white ball goes in, I step away from and laugh. "Thanks, Trey." I say as he says "Damn it, Jess. You messed me up." I roll my eyes and grab the white ball and put it in front of my last ball. "That was the point, blondie. You ready to lose?" I say as I push my stick and hit my ball in. He shakes his head and I step back and bow to him. "I'm just that amazing." I say, he laughs. I look over as I hear the door open and see Destiny, Angel and the other girl walk in. I put my stick by the wall and stick my tongue out at Trey and walk to Destiny. All the girls sit around the coffee table and talk for the last two hours, turns out Chenoa. One of the girls from Brentwood can sing the song from frozen in five languages. At ten everyone who ain't staying at Carole's leave. Me and Dana go to our room to see Savannah sleeping on the bed. "When did she come up here?" I ask Dana. She shakes her head "I don't know, I think she actually came in here after supper." After grabbing my pjs I walk to the bathroom and take my makeup off. When I'm done I walk back in the room and turn off the light since Dana is already on her cot, sleeping. I turn off my phone and fall asleep. "Girls, time to get up. We're heading out in fifteen minutes." I hear as my eyes start to slowly open my eyes, then I shut them quickly. The light is too bright, I get up and grab my outfit for today and go to the bathroom. Once I'm done, Savannah goes in. I sit on my cot and stet on my makeup, Dana says "Your doing more then I am. I just do mascara and my eyebrows." I laugh and say "I like doing my makeup but I hate foundation and concealer." Once I'm done, I start to pack some clothes into my backpack. We're going to the "Ecology Centre" for the next two three days. So, two nights and three days. I pack two pairs of leggings, three long sleeve shirts, two hoodies, three pairs of socks, my snow shoes, gloves, toque, snow pants and snow coat. We head out to the van before the boys, Dana, Savannah and I sit in the back. The boys get in then we head to the school, it's about an half hour drive. Once we get to the school it's already eleven and the pizza is there along with everyone else. I sit at the table Destiny's at after grabbing a piece of pizza. Once everyone's done we had out to the bus and head to the ecology centre. I decide to sleep since Carole said it's a pretty long drive. Someone shakes my shoulder and is saying "Jess, Jess, Jess." I fur my eyebrows together and lean away from the person. They say Jess again so I open my eyes. Carole, Angel, Darla are At least two inches from my face and they all say "Boo" I scream about to throw my fist at them but I notice it's them before and lean into Destiny as I say "Why would you do thatttt" I hear people laugh, I shake my head as they say we're almost there. We pull of the highway and drive for about ten minutes into the forest. "Where the hell are we going" I whisper to destiny, she shrugs. Once the bus stop by two big wooden buildings, a lady comes onto the bus. "Hello, everyone, I'm Karen and I'll be your instructor for the next three days." Everyone gets off and Carole tells everyone which cabin and who your with when you eat off. I'm with Destiny and Angel, thank god. We head to our cabins to get changed into more appropriate clothing. Since we're doing outdoor activities with our twins, fun. Our cabin is the every last one, about an five minute walk from the main building. Once we walk in, there's a bunk bed. A single bed on top then a double bed on bottom. "Uh." I say, I don't wanna share a bed that would be awkward even with Destiny, I don't like touching people. "So, me and Jess should share." Destiny says what I was hoping she wouldn't, I nod and put my bag on the bed. We all change then walk back, as we get out o f the forest part of the trail. I step on the ice thinking I wouldn't fall but slip about two feet forward and I screamed the whole time. "Oh my god, fuck you ice. You stupid pointless thing." I say madly at the ground, I hear someone laugh. I look up and see one of the kids from here laughing at me. Destiny and Angel are ahead so they didn't notice but this guy must have, "Woah now, don't go getting mad at the ice." He says, clearly amused. I glare at him and say "I got have easily died." He shakes his head and walks over the ice patch, like a fricking ninja. He gestures behind him and says "You just have to keep your full foot on the ground each time you step down." I continue to walk and say "You live here, you have a full life experience with ice, you show off." He laughs and runs. Runs. Up to me and says "Ricky." I glance at him, "No, Jess." "Yea, I know. Your Allen's twin, he would not stop talking about you before you guys got here, but no. My name is Ricky." He stops walking to tie his shoe, "Oh god, what did he say about me." I ask with preparing myself for something bad, "Uh, that you think he's a tree, that your funny, you don't think he's cool, and your badass." He says as he starts to walk again, "I'm a badass?" I ask with disbelief and laugh. He looks down at me with a glint of devilish in his eyes, "I know your secretttttttsssss" He says tauntingly and quickens his pace, I stare at him with wide eyes. What the actual hell. I run up to him say "What?" He laughs and says "See, I told you you can walk on ice, you just run over it." He runs ahead, right on the huge ice patch. Him obviously knowing I won't run after him sends a cheeky smile over his shoulder to me. Once I get over the ice patch and around the corner and through the parking lot, I see the group by the flap pole. "Thanks for waiting for me, guys" I say as I make my way to Destiny and Angel, "We didnt notice at first but then I saw you talking to Ricky, so I didn't stop." Angel says as Destiny is talking to Dana. Karen walks to the middle and says "Okay, we're going to go down the hill to a bigger place to play some games." We all follow her and when we get there she says to get in a circle, I'm in between Destiny and Dana. "We're going to play a game called "where the north wind blows" so we have someone in the middle and they say 'the north wind blows if your whatever' you just have to say something and if you have it you move to a different place. Okay, I'll start 'The north wind blows if your from the Island." She yells and Dana runs to another places and I step to hers. Once we're done with that stupid game, I literally was either not moving when it was actually something that was me or I just moved one to the side. I just moved whenever Allen would watch me after they said something. Karen's went to middle and said "Okay the next game I was told you pair up with your "Twin" so I guess go to your twin so we can start. I look at Destiny and sigh, "How about Angel goes with Allen and I stay with you." I whisper to her, she shakes her head tells me to go to him. I turn around to see Allen looking lost and walks in to angel who is across from me and Destiny. I assume he had the same idea as me because Angel then said rather loudly, "Junior just talk to your twin! Jessica is right there waiting for you." I hear Destiny snort as Allen try's to play it off cool and turns around and opens his arms and says "Jessica" and gestures for me to go up to him. I smile and at him and then I hear one of the boys yell, "Finally Junior there you go interacting with your twin." Allen shakes his head yet he's smiling at the ground, I smile at the boy who yelled. "Okay, one of you come to this side and the other stay on that side." I look up at him "Want me to go over there?" I ask, he looks at me weirdly, almost like he was looking through me but he mumbles a yes. They have us about four feet away facing from each other, I look at him trying to think of why he's acting so weird. "Okay, I will yell something you and your twin have to do it and whoever is last is out, I'll do a practice one. Elbow to elbow, everyone runs towards each other so I follow suit. And Allen walks fast but I couldn't stop because of the ice so our elbows hit each other's really heard. "Back to your spots." We continue so a couple more and each time people were out, "Elbow to Shin" I hear her yell and run towards Allen and lean my elbow to his shin, he almost falls so he stands up normal. I put my leg up and he leans his arm down, I look up at everyone watching us with their elbow to chin. Allen stands up when I put my leg down and notices too, "You two are out!" Karen yells. "We thought you said 'Shin' not 'Chin'" I tell her but she still tells us we're out. We go to stand and the next one is "Lock arms backwards" watching everyone do that was funny. Because o f the height difference made it a lot harder, "I'm glad we got out when we did that looks difficult" I say and laugh. I take a step back but I didn't know e was so close so I ended up hitting my arm with his. "Yeah, because of how short you are that would have been hard." He says not even acting like that insult was there, I glance up at him "I am not short!" I argue, "Your also defensive" he shots at me again. "I don't like you." I mumble and look straight ahead at the teams that are still playing, he lightly hits my shoulder "I'm kidding, shorty." I look up at him with wide eyes "I am one of the tallest girls here!" I glare at him, "Your glares are cute, your like a little mad chipmunk." He has some nerve, I huff and go back to watching the other teams. "Nose to nose" They all ran to each other and do that, "YOU KISSED!" Someone yells and I look over to Trey and Quintuin "YOU STOLE MY FIRST KISS!" Trey yells, sounding heart broken. They must have run to fast and their lips touched. "Now I am really glad we're out." I say trying to be mean, he just laughs and says "Pft your sad you didn't get to do that to my hot self." Oh my god he's such a loser, "Knee to Knee" Karen yells and they start to run, one of the girls slip and fall on her back. I scream, not totally scream but "squeak" I hate that term. I take a step back when I do and hit Allen again, "Jess, if you wanted to close to me you can just ask." I back away from him and say "Please, hold me Allen. That's what I want, to be in your arms." I say seriously and make my pupils wider as I look up at him, it looked like he first thought it was a joke then he believed me. I step closer to him, then step away laughing really hard. "You should have seen your faceeee" He walks away a little later when he sees Destiny walking towards us, "What were you guys talking about?" She asks. "Nothing much, I was just telling him he's a fricking tree. He said I'm short." I say and shake my head and walk back to the main building with everyone else. The rest of the day went by in a blur but slowly as well, we played more group games. I didn't talk to Allen or Ricky the rest of the day, but I did notice at lunch they were talking to each other. Since their table was on the opposite side of ours I didn't hear anything but they were string at me as they were talking. Now, most of the girls are in our room. It's currently eight at night and the "Bedtime" is at eleven, the only ones that aren't here are Shanel and Olivia. I haven't talked to either of them today, but Shanel was the one that picked the number for us the first night. We all sat there talking about whatever came to mind, then Summer jumped up. "I have my board game!" She yells as Angel and runs to her room which is right next to ours. "Woah, she's really excited for a board game." I say, when she gets back she's starts to explain what the game is. "So, the game is called five seconds. It's has card with questions and a timer, you just have to answer the question within five seconds. But it's really fun because you get tongue twisted, and it's hard to think while your rushed. Don't worry guys it will be fun, I promise." After figuring out the teams, which is Keisha and Chenoa. Janelle and I, Dana and Meagan, Destiny and Angel. Summer is going to be the judge and the one who reads the cards and times. After the games, Janelle wins out of us. Chenoa wins out of her and Keisha, Meagan wins out of her and Dana, Angel wins out of her and Destiny. So, after those ones playing the final winner is Meagan. Around eleven the girls leave to their cabins, and we all head to bed. I wake in the middle of the night because of how feeding it is, we only have a think blanket. I grab my hoodie and some socks, then climb back to the top bunk. I slowly fall back to sleep, I groan as I begin to wake up. I move onto my side since I was sleeping on my stomach. I look down to see Angel and Destiny still asleep, I yawn as I get up to pee. Once I use the bathroom I realize I got my period. Oh my god, this literally would only happen to me. I walk out and grab and underwear then go back in, once I'm all changed I head back out. Once I look at the alarm thing I see that it read 7:49 and we are supposed to at the mess hall at eight. "Guys get up, it's almost eight." I say loudly and they slowly stir awake then they both jump up when they realize what I said. I grab my makeup and put mascara and bronzer on, then put on my snow pants. I grab my socks which have weed symbols on it, I didn't have any thick socks so I borrowed some fork my friends before we came here. Once I have everything but my coat and gloves on I lay on Destiny's bed waiting for them to finish. I feel someone shaking my shoulder, I open my eyes to see Destiny. "Angel went ahead." She said I yawn and fix my toque as we walk to the door. I put my coat on and zip it all the way up beside its freezing outside. Once we get to the mess hall and eat, we go to the flag pole. "Okay, we're going to split up. Half is going to stay here and do some team building and the other half is going to snowshoe." Karen says to everyone as she steps to the side Darla steps beside her and says "The ones going snowshoeing are Keisha, Savannah, Meagan, Jessica, and Trey. Along with your guys twins." I groan and say "Can I just stay with Destiny?" Then Destiny says "Yea, can she just stay down here." Everyone looks at us as Darla laughs and says no. I walk towards where they told us to go, since mine and Destinys arms are linked. We're both walking and as we get to the space we stop and laugh. "I'm not your twin." Everyone laughs at us after this. "I think you girls can last an hour or two away from each other." Jess says, I dramatically look at her. "Oh, no. Two hours is too long. Allen can go and I'll tag with Destiny." I say and laugh, Jess shakes her head and walks back inside. Once the other group leaves, I look around and realize I don't have Destiny now. "I'm going to get my gloves from Destiny, Darla" I tell her then walk towards the building they went in. I get my gloves from Destiny and walk towards the exit, "Bye, guys." No one answers but as I open the door I hear a faint "Uh, see you." I glance back and smile to see it's Shanel the girl I haven't talked to yet. Once I step out side and the door closes I laugh at how awkward she was about that. Once I get back to my group Karen is just now handing out the snowshoe things. I sit by Savannah and put mine on, then help Savannah since she had her gloves on. We start to walk, the boys and Keisha and Meagan are in front and Darla, Savannah and I are still in the back. Once we get up the huge ass hill, we walk down it then up another. Then about twenty minutes after those we reach our destination, which is just a cliff. I lay down by Savannah as we try to catch our breath. About ten minutes later the instructor says it's time to head back the way we came, so the same stupid mountains. Once we're at the top of the first hill, Savannah and I fall to the ground for a break. Our group is still ahead of us, and Darla is behind us along pictures. When we started to walk down the hill, I fell onto my butt and screamed. As I slid down about five frets I was screaming as Savannah was laughing. "You know what I'm done walking in just going to slide down." I tell to her as I continue to slid down the hill. Once I get to the bottom I look back to see Savannah and Darla getting ready to slid down. Finally, after two stupid more hills we're at the bottom of the last hill. "Okay, sorry guys but we're going over this mountain. Instead of the way we came down here." The lady yells, Savannah and I groan as the boys and the two girls run up the hill. We follow, to find out it takes us to the lake. People take pictures as Savannah and I take off the stupid boot things, and start to walk back up the next hill. Once we're at the top the rest of the group comes up shortly. We head to the first building and up stairs after taking off our shoes and shoe clothing. The lady wants to show us her fur, since Savannah and I were last up we have to sit on the ground. But lucky we're tall enough to semi see what the lady is doing. She shows us bear, wolf, beaver, fox etc fur, once the wolf fur comes towards us neither of us want to touch it. I tell savannah to look as I lean over and touch the fur really quick and say "Oh ya, nice dog." She laughs and so does the boys by us. "Oh my god, the part in twilight." "IM AM THE ALPHA, I AM THE NEPHEW OF THE GREAT CHEIF." She cuts me off before I could finish, my eyes go wide as I says "Yes!" And we laugh, "I AM THE" I say manly and start to rise but everyone looks at me so I sit back down as Savannah starts to laugh. "That was dumb" I leaned over to her and whisper but she had another plan I guess. As soon as I leaned over, Savannah took a fox fur out of no where and it's nose touched my mouth. She starts to laugh really hard as I scream and wipe my tongue on my shirt. The group looks at us but looks back at the lady when she continues to talk about her furs. About twenty minutes later, we're heading back to the flag pole. Since it's one we go to the mess hall for lunch, after eating we go back to the flag pole. "Okay, we're switching now. The group that was snowshoeing is going to do the put door activities now, and they ones that did the activities are going snowshoeing." Once she's done everyone from my group heads to the main building. Savannah and I walk in after saying bye to Destiny and the others, once we get in we take off our boots. We sit down in two separate couches, Angel and Allen are sitting together on the two person couch. Since their sitting really close Allen has his arm around angels neck, Allen is looking down at Angel as she's talking to summer. He's smiling and it looks like he's sniffing her hair slightly. Savannah starts to talk to me so I stop watching Allen, Karen walks in and tells everyone to go sit with their twin. I stay where I am not even looking at Allen there's no way I'm going to sit at that small ass couch with him. Savannah and I continue talking as I laugh, Allen walks towards us and sits behind me and Keith's his legs up so my head is between them. His calves are slightly leaning on my shoulders, I roll my eyes while I'm looking at Savannah. Karen explains about how it's going to work, she shoes us how to use the gps. The whole of the game is basically each pair of twins are going to hide an item and put the area of it in the gps, then switch with another pair of twins. I pretend to know what I'm doing when everyone is starting up their gps, but Karen went around the circle to see. After she fixed mine and explained all over to me, she tells all the twins to grab one item. I got up since Allen still hasn't moved his legs, as I get up I push both of his legs out of my way. "Ow!" He says and he leans over holding his area, "Your mean today, Jess." I grab a frisbee and go to get my boots on, as I lean down to tie my left shoe Allen leans down and ties my right. As he gets up I start to walk to the door and as I put my hand up to open it he leans into me and pushes it open before I can. I glare at him, but this was mistake because his fav was right beside mine but a little higher. I walk out and stand waiting for him, I take a step once I notice him walking behind me. "Where should we put it?" He asks, I shrug. Just as I was about to say something, Keisha and your twin Olivia walk up to us. "Yo, Keisha. After hiding yours, tell me where you hide it and I'll tell you where ours is." I tell her, I'm watching her but she isn't looking at me she's looking at Allen. She nods after a couple seconds, I walk around the building with Allen. "Aren't you a rebel, Jess." He says as I snort, "You probably would have done that too, it's a lot easier then going out and finding it." I say and continue to walk without looking back at him, "Oh, never mind. Your just being lazy?" He shoots, I laugh as I look over my shoulder to him and say "Yeah." He smiles as he looks at me, "We can hide it down there, I'll just throw it behind that rock." I say and try to grab it but he moves his arm back just in time, I pretend to fall and has he drops the frisbee to try and grab me. I pick it up and smile at him, he frowns as I laugh. "No, we have to go down there and put the location in the gps." He argues then quickly snatches the frisbee before I could react, "Hey." I say as my brows fur together, he starts to go down the little steep hill. He slips and falls onto his ass, I laugh and ask if he's okay. He gets up and turns to help me down, I laugh and shake my head. "No, I'm good. You can just do mine." I tell him as he sits down on the rock and drops the frisbee behind it. After he's done with his I throw mine to him but with a little too much strength, he catches but falls into the snow. I laugh really hard and lean down since I was laughing so much my stomach began to hurt, my foot slips. I try to step again to save myself but I feel myself fall onto my back and slid down the hill. My feet hit the rock to stop me, I try to catch my breath as Allen is laughing his ass off. "I don't like you." I say like a child and cross my arms as I sit up, "Stop pouting, that's what you get for making me fall and laughing about it." He fires back, I sigh then fall on my back. I start to move my arms and legs to mark a snow angel, "What are you doing?" He asks as he continues whatever he's doing on the gps. "Making a snow angel." I say and smile at him when he glanced up at me, "What are you five?" He says, I glare at him and say "No, I'm seven." I shoot back, he shakes his head while looking down. "So, do you prefer 'Allen' or 'Junior'" I ask and close my eyes, "It doesn't matter, I don't really care." He says, "I didn't know what to call you this whole time, the first day when we had to say who put twins are. I said Allen but I was confused since everyone from here calls you 'Junior' but when your friend messaged me he said he's 'Allen is my friend' so I assumed people called you 'Allen' Anyway, back home my cousin is a 'Junior' too. So, we call them big man and little man. Or big Ernie and little Ernie. Oh my god, before we came up here. Little Ernie came up to me when I was walking home and said 'You better not find a honey and get shacked up, up there. Or I'm going out there and beat up the guy.' Everyone was making a big deal about me coming here, I didn't get it cause like it's only a week not a month or anything. Are you almost done?" I open my eyes to see Allen just staring down at me, after about five seconds he says yeah. "I'll go up first and then help you up." He says as he starts to cling up the hill, "Pft, I'm not helpless. Plus I'm ninja I can get up this like nothing." I say and take a running start up the hill, I get to the top without falling. I smile at him and walk back to the building, Keisha and Olivia are waiting at the door. "It's at the bottom of that little hill behind the building." I say to Keisha, "Ours is right over." She gets cut off as James comes out of no where and says "Are you guys trying to cheat?" We shake ours heads and laugh "I don't trust you guys so you two ant switch you have to switch with any other group." We sigh then go in, James makes us switch with Savannah and her twin. Luckily, I saw where they walked to. Allen holds the door open but doesn't move so I have to walk close to him. "Since we don't know how to work these things let's just look around the outside of the mess hall. That's where I saw them walking out from." I say as I walk towards the mess hall, "Jess, we just have to find the little dot." He runs up to me and leans over my shoulder at my gps, he puts his finger on the dot. "Oh, Kay" I say and follow it, it takes us to the door. "It has to be here we're right on the dot." Allen says as he begins to search there, "Remember, the lady said the object isn't always around the dot it can be with a couple feet. Let's circle around the building to check, you go that way I'll go this way." I say and begin to walk towards the right, I look back to see Allen right behind me. I stop and he slams into me which makes me fall forward but I catch myself. "I told you to go the other way,Allen." I say to him, he nods then turns around. Once I get to the end of my end of the building, I see the pair of big sunglasses. "Allen!" I yell but to loudly sine he's probably right on the other side of the building. I wait about a minute for him to come around the building, "ALLEN!" I yell louder. Still no answer, I start to worry that he got eaten by a wolf or something. "ALLEN!!" I yell louder then before, I start to walk around the nuking. Walking through all the trees thinking he's going jump out at me. "Allen, I found the glasses!" I yell again, where the hell is he. Once I get around the corner I don't see him, "ALLEN WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU!" I yell with everything I had. Still no answer, I turn to look at the forest debating on walking out there to see if he's out there. I took my time walking to the end of the building, it took me about ten minutes. He should have beaten me to the end, I hear a branch break. "Allen?" I say, stepping towards the noise. "If that's you don't you fucking dare try to scare me." I walk about ten feet into the woods, but get too scared and walk back to he end of the building. I give up and start to walk over to his side the building just not to see him there. When I was half way to the door I see Allen by the door picking up all the shit that is outside. "Allen, you fucking shit. I told you to walk to the end of the building you scared the shit out of me I thought a wolf ate you or something!" I yell at him and walk faster, he looks up and yells "IT SAYS ITS SUPPOSED TO BE HERE, WHY ISN'T IT HERE!" He looks beyond frustrated. "I hate you, I literally got so scared when I was yelling and you didn't answer." I say and try to step to go down the hill, "No!" He yells and jumps to the end of the hill. "Do you want to die, you're going to hurt yourself if you go down this hill. Just walk around and down the walk way." I look at him, sigh and walk towards the walk away. "I told you walk around the building, why didn't you listen to me?" I ask and laugh. "It said the it should be right there I was standing right at the dot!" He yells I look at him like he's the dumbest person ever. He walks up to me and grabs the glasses from me, "How did you find these?" He asks, "I did what the lady told us to do. Were you literally standing in that one place looking for fifteen minutes?" I ask with disbelief, he laughs and nods, his cheeks slowly beginning to turn pink. I start to laugh really hard and walk towards the main building. "Your making me feel really smart right now." I say while laughing, "Cause of how dumb I am?!" He says, I look back at him over my shoulder and laugh. "Yeah." He opens the door for me and as we get to the couches everyone else is there. " How did it go, Allen?" Ricky asks, I laugh and say "I walked around the building and found it when Allen stood in one spot looking for fifteen minutes." Ricky gets up and says "Hell yeah, Jess!" He hugs me then hits Allen's shoulder and said "Your a dumbass,Bro." Allen stomps his foot and basically yells, "It said that it should be there I was right on the stupid dot!" Everyone laughs at him and he stomps his feet as he walks to the couch. I go to sit with him but someone grabs my hand and pulls me down. Ricky is sitting on the couch beside me, "Did he actually just stand there?" He asks me. I nod then say "I told him to circle around the other side of the building but he didn't listen and scared the shit out of me." I lean back into the couch, Ricky continues to talk for a while until Karen starts to explain the next game. Now, we have to walk around and find cards. Like a scavenger hunt but we use the gps. She tells us to go see our twins again because we have to set up our gps together. I sit by Allen on the two person couch, once he done his I hand him mine. "No, you gotta learn how to do it." He says, I sigh and lean into him to see his gps. He tenses but moves closer to me so he can help me, "What do I do?" I ask, I look at his to see a ton of numbers on the screen. I lean my head on his shoulder and wait for him to answer, "Put in all these numbers." I start to do as he instructs but he soon grabs it from my hands and says I'm too slow. Once we're out side we start to look for the first one but can't find it so I walk us to the cabin that has the blue car because Destiny said that there was one of the papers there. I try to grab the envelope but it's too high up for me to reach, Allen laughs as me and grabs it. He reads it but he's whispering and all I hear is "A cabin, but I am a cabin that has to do with the number one." We start to walk with him to the right since that's where the gps is telling us to go. "The first cabin maybe?" I say then run to the cabin and yell when I see the envelope, and once again I'm too short but I try anyway. Allen grands the back of my coat and pulls me back and grabs it himself. After reading that one and again not understanding it we walk following where the god is sending was. Allen sees the envelope first and says "I'll get it, your too short." And walks towards the tree that it's hanging on, "I'm not short, I'm average!" I yell at him and start to walk towards the next one, he catches up as we get to the down hill part. I grab onto his arm so I won't fall from all the ice, "If I'm going to fall I'm taking you'd won with me." I say and walk down the hill with him. He grabs the envelope even though I could reach and reads it to himself and all I can hear is "Jack and Jill went up and down a hill." He says we need to walk down another hill, I sigh and take out my gps and follow it with him. When we get down I don't see anything and Allen doesn't either. I look over to the log a little into the forest and it looks like it could be the envelope so I point at it. "I'll go check" he says and walks out there just to find out it was ice. Then he try's to pull out the log thing that it was on. I laugh at him and tell him that we should head back up since it's hella creepy down here. We give up after another half hour of looking around there, "Why did you guys have us come here for the weekend it's freezing, we're from the island we're wimps when it comes to coldness." I say as I put my hands into my pockets, "Well, gloves would help why aren't you wearing yours?" He asks as we walk up the hill, "I forgot them on the couch I was sitting with Ricky?" I tell him he gives me his so I put them on, "So, what are we doing when we go to your home?" He asks, "Well, we're doing wild play it's basically just a high ropes and zip lining thing, whale watching, a day in Victoria and go to the museum, and just some odd things." He looks at me surprised, I raise my brows at him. "We thought you guys didn't know what we were doing at all, before you guys got here we were hella roasting you." He says like it's nothing, "Hey, now. What we're doing at home is going to be so much better. We're not gonna put you in the cold for a weekend." We head back since dinner is at five thirty and it is now four fifty. When we get back and take off our snow boots and clothes, Destiny and them are back so I walk to them and leave Allen. We all sit around the on the couches until supper then head over. When we get in and take off ours boots I forgot I was wearing my socks that have weed symbols on them, through the day no one noticed because I only had my shoes off for like ten minutes. Destiny and I sit in the second table both on different sides to face each other, "Okay, since this our last night together here we are going to have a twin night . So, go find your twin and sit with them." Karen yells. "Jess" I hear Allen yell and motion for me to go over to him, I shake my head and yell "No! You come here!" He motions again so I motion with both of my hands while shaking my head, the guys laugh as Allen starts to walk over. Angel then comes to sit by me but I have my feet up and smile then ask her to sit by Destiny so I can keep my feet up, when she says okay I say she's my favourite Ontario person now. She sees my socks and says "Jessica" and walks over to the other side. When she gets over there I ask "What" she laughs and says "Your socks, your a bad child." I laugh as Allen is behind the chair my feet are on, everyone is staring from my table as I say "What, Their the Canadian maple leafs." I laugh as everyone else does, Allen looks at my socks then angel and nods. "Yeah, I know those leafs. They are the Canadian maple leafs." I smile at him and say "Yes thank you Allen" He then goes to pull out the chair I shake my head and say "You should sit on the next one so I can sit with my legs up" I try to say sweetly so he would. He laughs then sits on the chair next to my feet. I pull my legs closer to my chest as I lean against the wall, I look at Karen wanting to get this over with. "So, I want you tell your twin five things about yourself they don't know. But first line up to get burger." She says then goes to get her burger, I get up after Allen and walk to the line. Once we get our burger and put what we want on it we then go to the drinks. Allen and I grab a cup and I get juice and he gets water, "Your so healthy, Allen." He laughs and says "My body is temple, Jess. I can't have sweets." I laugh at his stupidness and put my cup to his lips once it's full. "Take a drink" I say as he scrunches his nose and shakes his head, "I need to know what kind of juice it is." I tell him and push it to his lips just for him to say "You take a drink why do I have to?" I narrow my eyes at him, "Allen, You like me alive right?" I ask him, He turns his head like he's confused my question then slowly nods. "I need to know what kind of drink it is so I don't die if it's kiwi or some other fruit I'm allergic to." I tell him and again push it to his lips, he shakes his head again. I sigh and put it up to my mouth he quickly grabs it and says "Fine, psycho." He tips it back and takes a drink "Cherry." Is all he says as he hands it back to me I smile and say thank you and turn around to walk back to the table. After supper and talking Allen about odd things, Karen directs us all back to main building to start our paddles. Once we get there we start to work on paddles, they gave it to us and it was in a square shape. I grabbed a knife and started to cut it to shape it into a oval kind of edge shape, let how our paddles are a home. About an hour or two latersome people go outside to look at the moon in the telescope. Plus the night goggles, Destiny Angel Dana and Meagan and I go out and use them. It wasn't as interesting as I hoped. When we got back I started on my paddle again finally getting into the shape I liked. I noticed that all the girls are doing it too, I sand mine out and help the girls who were having a hard time holding their knives. Around nine, Karen asked who wanted to go howling. Destiny wanted to go so I guess I'll go with her, after walking there we all sit down on the ground by the lake. We weren't allowed to talk because we don't want to scare off the wolves, one of the guys start to mess around quietly because it started to get awkward. I tried not to laugh but I failed and he looked at me smiling. "Okay, I'll howl first to show you then you join in on third one okay?" She says then she hooked really loudly, after the second one everyone joins so I do. Not caring if I sound stupid because James and the guy beside me sound horrible. After about twenty minutes of howling and not hearing any we head back, once we get back it's already ten thirty. They send everyone back to their cabins to sleep, once we get to the cabin we all change and go to sleep. I turn into my stomach as I hear "Get up guys, it's already nine. Breakfast was at eight, we slept in." I open my eyes to see Angel jumping around to get her snow pants on, I sigh and get up. I start on my makeup as destiny goes to the bathroom, "I'm going to head to the mess hall, now." She says as she walks out the door, after destiny gets out I walk in and change. Once we get to the main building everyone is working on their paddles so we start too. We spend the next two hours finishing our paddles then we go back to our cabins to pack up and head back to the bus. I sit with by myself as Jess comes up to me and tells me that I'll be staying with Angel, Destiny and Meagan tonight. I nod then fall asleep, I feel something hit my shoulder softly but I don't open my eyes. "Angel, don't bully my twin!" I hear Allen yell then Angel say "She needs to wake up, we're almost at the school!" I'm too tired to care so I fall back to sleep, once again someone is waking me up. Now, someone has their chin resting on my head and their hands are lightly slapping my face. I groan and sit up so their head falls, I look back to see Janelle. I glare at her as she laughs, "You did a great job of being a nice person" I say bitterly, "What did you want me to leave you sleeping?" I shake up head and get up wanting to get off the bus. As soon as I get off the bus I walk over to Destiny, "Angels Mom is over there." Destiny says and starts to walk over with Angel and Meagan, I walk after them and throw my bag in the bag with theirs and close the trunk. I go to the left door and get in, Meagan is sitting between Destiny and I, and Angel is in the front seat. I lean my head and body against the car door, so I won't touch Megan after saying hi and I'm Jessica to her Angels Mom. "Can you wake up Jess, Meagan?" Angels asks I slowly move my head up before Megan has to wake me up. "Jess, isn't this quiet, she's a real hoot. She doesn't feel good today, because she's just easily car sick. She's actually a lot of fun, if Destiny wasn't here jess would be my twin because she's as outgoing as I am." I yawn and see that we're outside Carole's house, to get my bag. I open the door and get out, Angel and I walk up the stairs as I yawn and say "I'm too tired to do anything, Angel." She laughs at me and opens the door after putting in the code, I slowly walk to the room stretching and yawning and grab my bag and chips. I walk out of the room the see Angel taking pictures of herself in the body mirror Carole has by her door. I try to pull my bag but it's heavy and I try again but I'm not strong enough, I let it go and stomp my foot. I whine and throw my head back and say "Life is too hardddd." Angel laughs as I look over to her to see she's recording, I sigh and pull harder this time. I'm successful at moving it but it rams into my ankle and I let out a cry. "I think god actually hates me." I say as I walk past her with my bag but stop when I get to the stairs not wanting to carry it down. "Fine, Jess. I'll carry it for you." She says and laughs as she walks to the car like it was nothing, I go into the car and try to fall asleep. About ten minutes later Angel looks at back at me but I guess she didn't see that my eyes are open, "Jess is juniors twin, they probably the best set of twins. Their so alike and they both bug each other, I never hear what they talk about when their together but I see Jess laughing and Junior smiling down at her. On the weekend she was making Junior laugh a lot, I'm surprised at how comfortable he is with her." Angel tells her mom, her Mom looks over her shoulder at me and says "Really? He barely talks to me and I've known him his whole life." They both laugh then Angel continues, "He even asked me about her it was cute, we were sitting on the couch when the girls were across the room messing around. 'She's actually pretty cool, I was scared she was going to be some loser chick I had to deal with for a week. So, did she ever say anything about me last night? I saw on her snapchat story you girls were having a a girls night.' He tried to play it off cool but he was watching her the whole time he was talking. I think he likes her but whenever Summer and I bug her about him she says she doesn't like him." Their talking about me like I'm not right here, I look at Destiny to see she's asleep too and Megan has her headphones on. They finally stop talking about me but for some reason I couldn't stop thinking about what she said which stopped me from my sleep.
That's weird he told me he's talking to a girl right now, and since I was bugging him about Angel he told me it wasn't her. About ten minutes later they wake us up to ask what we want at McDonald's, I tell them I just want fries and a pop. After that we get to her house probably ten minutes later, and I couldn't stop thinking of what she said. Once we get inside her house we go downstairs to her room, I sit on the couch in her room I am the first down since Angel is carrying my suitcase down. Her room is kind of big but small, she has her queen size bed, then her couch that pulls out to a bed, a desk, two dresser and her closet. Then the free space in the middle of the room is about a size of a double bed, once they get down Megan goes to the bathroom. Once she gets out I go in and change, we sit around for about fifteen minutes then head over to summers. Summer and Angel go to Carole's to get her van so we can do stuff tonight and she picks up Savannah, Dana and Kyla. Destiny, Meagan, Chenoa and I sit in Summers living room and watch 'Friends.' About an half an hour later they get back and tell us to go outside, we get into the van to see Savannah and Kyla are in the trunk since there isn't enough room for all of us. We drive to the store to get face masks, I also grab a eyebrow pencil, some chocolate and a brush. Since we're ordering pizza we don't stop off anywhere for supper. They called as we were driving to the store for pizza so it'll be there when we get back. After eating we all go clean our faces and put our masks on, Summer and I are disappointed because we choose the chocolate one because we thought it would be brown but it's white. After everyone else's dry but ours we wash it off, I start to message Janelle and she asks if we could go pick her up. Angel says yes, Savannah Kyla and I go with her to the house their at. When we're outside the house I see that it's Janelle and Shanel her twin are walking out, my first thought was oh no that sucks I didn't know she was coming. Then I thought I don't know her she might be an amazing person but I didn't say anything, we stopped off at Tim Hortons to get a drink and a wrap before heading badly Summers house. It's around eight now and we can stay at her house until eleven, we do makeup, singing and dancing. At twelve we're back at Angels turns out Summer and Chenoa are staying here as week, that makes six people in Angles room. Summer and Angel are sleeping on her bed, Chenoa and Megan are sleeping on the couch, Destiny and I are sleeping on the bed that Angel put on the floor. I'm laying on the bed right now as Summer, Angel, Megan and Destiny are bugging me about Allen. "Are you sure you don't like him? I think your lying." Angel says then Summer says "Yeah, I see the way you watch him." Then Megan says "You both laugh every time your together plus you both watch each other when you aren't doing anything." Then destiny says "She would like him but she has Kitten." They all stare at me as I sigh and let my head face onto my pillow as I groan. "I like him because he's funny and plus he's talking to a girl already." Summers eyes go wide and she says "You, he's talking about you." I leave my head in my pillow and don't answer, "Destiny's right I already have someone." I mumble out, "Kitten?" Angel says then Summer says "What the hell is 'Kitten'" I lift my head and say "It's his nickname." Then drop my head again, "I'm going to sleep now, shhh." I ignore them and fall asleep, once I wake up I go to the bathroom and change. 8:10 I see on my phone so I go back to sleep, I feel something be thrown at me so I open my eyes to see Angel rushing around. "Guys, it's eleven thirty! We were supposed to be at the school at ten." She yells as she try's to put her pants on and runs out the door, I get up and start on my makeup then dress. Once we're all packed and dressed, Summer says "Junior is gonna come pick us up now." But I don't care because I'm still half asleep "Wait I thought Angel was taking us" Meagan says then summer nods, "Junior is taking me and Chenoa since Angels car won't fit us all." She says as destiny says "You should go with her, Jess. Spent some time with your twin." I shake my head as Angel comes back in the room, "So turns out everyone slept in, Carole said we can be at the school at twelve." Summer and Chenoa leave then Destiny Angel and I leave and go to Tim Hortons for breakfast on the way to the school. Once we get there everyone is sitting in the resource room with their bags there. "So, this is going to be the girls room. The boys room is on the other side of the school. Boys, go drop off your stuff and grab the cots and take it here, please." Carole says, the boys leave and I go sit on the chair that moves. I put my bag down and start talking to Savannah and Keisha. The boys take back the cots and the girls put their own up but I didn't wanna so when Zack walked by me. "Zack, wanna be the best person in the world?" I say looking up at him then Ricky jumps in front of him, "I wanna be the best person in the world." I laugh and ask him "Can you put up my cot for me, please." He laughs and me and says "Yeah." When he's done I throw my blanket angel gave me on it. I look over to Ricky to say thanks but he's gone, they call us all the gym for lunch. After eating most of us play volleyball but the boys go into their room because Ricky brought his Xbox to the school. Around three they call us back to the gym, "Okay, we're going to cook for the women's homeless shelter now! I need two groups. One to who wants to go shopping for things and the other for cooking.!" Carole tells us and everyone spreads out into the two groups, people staying are with James and people shopping are with Carole. I'm going shopping with Janelle, Kyla, Angel, Olivia, Savannah, Dana, Ricky and Quintuin. Olivia, Angel and I go with carol to get some crafts and stuff for the women and the others go to store for food. "Aw, man. I'm gonna stay, I only wanted to go to be with Jess." Ricky says as a joke, "Your an idiot." I say as I walk out the door with Angel and Olivia. It takes us close to two hours to drive around north bay getting pools tickets, gym passes, bus passes, crafts, and some odd things. After we stop at Tim Hortons to gets hot chocolate for ourselves, we see a homeless guy singing as he plays the guitar. "Do you guys wanna give him some of the money you fundraised?" Carole asks Angle she nods and we stop by him so she can give him five dollars. We drive back to the school and when we get there the other people are already cooking and the people who shopped now have free time. So, Janelle, Shanel, Destiny and I go down to the lake to take pictures. Shanel walks far onto the lake not even caring, "It's okay the lake is frozen fully. And if you hear a creak just book it to the shore." She says as the others laugh and I stare at her with wide eyes. We walked pretty far out, took pictures. Then Ricky runs down out of the door and yells for us to go in for supper, all trough supper all of us girls sitting. We were all yelling and laughing as we talked, I looked back to see all the guys left already. We stay talking for awhile then we all scatter around the school, Dana and I go to the music room and try to play the panino and then Shanel and Olivia come into the room as well. We stay in there for most of the time till around eight. When we were done and we're heading back to our room we see Destiny sitting on the couch alone, I go up to her. Dana, Shanel and Olivia go back into our room, I talk to destiny for a bit then go hang out with them again. We go into the gym with some of the guys and start to play a game of volleyball. In the middle of the game my team which is Summer, Quintin, Keisha, Megan and I are losing. Zack is too good of a player for us, the ball flys to Quintin but he ducks too scared to hit it. "Hey Quintin! We're trying to win!" I yell at him smiling, he laughs and says "Your just like Junior." The ball flys at me but I'm not looking and I see it at he corner of my eye I scream and duck just in time. Everyone laughs as Quintin yells "Hey Jess, we're trying to win!" Megan, Summer and Quintin give up and leave the gym. Which leaves me and Keisha again Zack and his team. I see Allen walk in and I yell "Allen! Come play I need your help we're losing!" And this little shit pretends not to hear me and walks out the door. Soon Keisha and I give up and I go back to the couch to hang out with Dana. We play with the volleyball hitting it against the wall playing pass. Soon Trey and Matt comes up to us, Trey sits between us and Matt sits on the arm rest by me. We start to talk and play with the ball, then Trey brings up the long flight here. "Oh my god Trey. You were so annoying on the plane. You kept leaving your legs on mine and leaning into me." I say, he laughs and leans his legs into mine again and moves closer to me. "Like this?" He says as I push him away, "Yeah, Sorry. I was trying to get comfortable and I would rather lean on you then Deagan." I look at him with wide eyes "He's your best friend and I'm a stranger!" I say, we stop talking about that when Matt asks "So, what do you think of Allen?" Dana says "Well, he's okay. He doesn't talk to anyone but the Ontario kids and Jess. But he's kind of funny with the whole 'Drop dead gorgeous' thing." We all laugh and I say "I don't really thinks he's attractive." Then Matt gasps and says "What?!" He stands up and says "Say that again" I repeat myself, "Stay right here and don't forget what you just said. I'm going to get Junior." I look at Trey and Dana as he walks away, then Janelle Keisha Kyla and Destiny come out of no where and stand by the couch. I look over to the right to see Allen turning the corner brushing his hand through his hair as he says "Who said I'm not attractive?" It takes me awhile to answer because that was so clique, "Everyone." I say everyone either laughs or oh's. Allen shakes his head and puts his hand on his heart, "Your hurting my ego, Jess." I laugh at him and say "Your ego is too big anyway." He walks towards us and says "I know you think I'm attractive." I laugh as he walks away "You did have a little bit of attractiveness but your stupidity ruins that." Everyone says "Oh, burn." Allen looks back at me and says "That's fucked, Jess." He walks into the gym and we can hear Matt laughing at him as Allen says "Fucking Jess." As the door closes I start to laugh and lean into Trey, "That was funny wasn't it?" I ask him as I'm laughing, he looks down at me smiles and nods. We sit around for another god till it's just me and Shanel. "Wanna go get some food?" She asks and gets up I nod and say "Yeah, I want a pop." We go through the gym to get to the kitchen and as I walk into the little side room where the pop is. Not bothering to find the light switch I go to the fridge and open it. Next thing I know someone says "Boo." Right next to my ear and wraps their arms around me, I scream and push their arms and run towards the door. I hear Ricky's laugh I stop dead in my tracks and turn to him, "I'm going to kill you." I say without any trace of humour, his eyes go wide and he runs out the door before I could get him. I run past Shanel, Dana, Keisha, Kyla and Savannah. "You fucking asshole!" I yell as I chase him into the gym, he runs under the net and jumps from side to side. "Come get home" he says tauntingly, "Oh, I will. You asshole. You scared the shit out of me." I say as I slowly approach him, "What? I just wanted a pop." He says and throws his arms up trying to act innocent. "If I were you I'd run." I say as I book it to him, he runs out the door and laughs loudly. "Stupid boy." I say as I turn back to the kitchen. "I hate him." I say as I walk into the kitchen to where I left Shanel, "Since when did you guys talk?" Kyla asks, I shrug and walk past her to get my pop. "He started to talk to me at the ecology centre, that stupid ass was laughing at me cause I almost fell on the ice." I say as I grab my pop and open it, "What's his name?" She asks. "Ricky, he's Deagan's twin." I tell her as I take a drink, "He's kind of cute." She says looking at me, "Go talk to him, knowing him he's probably still running around the school like an idiot." I tell her as I walk to the cupboards looking for some food, her and savannah leave and Destiny and Megan walk in. I start to sing "Tip toe through he tulips" from insidious under my breath, I start to sing it louder and high pitched. I walk into the room because I remember that's where Carole said the chips are. I grab a bag of spicy chips and sing "I tip toe to the window, through the window." As I walk out the door they all look up at me and Dana says "That's really creepy." I laugh at her as Shanel says "Your actually not that bad of a singer." As we walk back to the couch I sing the full song and once we sit down Darla comes What in her pj's and says "Who the bell is singing that horrible song, do they want me to have nightmares?" We laugh at her and I sing the first part and she throws her arms up and says "No! Stop!" When she goes back into the room Carole comes out and asks who was singing, I say "Me." She nods and says "Sing it again?" I start to sing it and she joins, I stop and look at her with wide eyes. "Your so good!" Dana says as I say "I don't wanna sing with you, your making me feel bad." We all laugh, "Okay, Girls. Go back to your room and get ready for bed. I'll go get the boys to leave your room." Carole says as she heads to our room, "Boys, time to go back to your room." She says and walks back to her room, the boys leave as well as some girls go to shower. After they come back Destiny, Kyla, Dana and I go to the shower room. Since Megan was still showering I let the other three go in while I wait for Megan. I play my music and sing along to it as I wait about fifteen minutes and they all come out, I go into the shower undress and realize I forgot my shampoo out there. "Dana, wanna pass me my shampoo?" I ask her as I stick my head out of the shower shall. "Jess, do you have brow tint? Your brows are still really dark." Kyla asks me while looking at my brows, "No, my brows are pretty dark I just fill them in to even out the shapes." I tell her and go back to showering, "Were going now." Destiny says and has I'm about to say don't leave me alone, Dana says "I'll wait for you to be done." I nod then realize she can't see me so I say "Kay." About five minutes later Savannah comes in and starts to talk to Dana, "Jess, I'm gonna head back to the room since Savannahs here now." Dana yells just before I hear the door close, "I'm gonna lock it cause I don't want a guy to walk in. I'm not locking you in to like murder you or anything." Savannah says and laughs, she walks into the stall next to mine and asks "How do I turn to it to hot?" I laugh and say "It goes to cold then warms up to hot so you should wait outside of the water. I learned the hard way." I say and laugh, "Okay, I'll pull left." She says and then she screams and I hear her jump back "I didn't step back in time so the cold water soaked me." I laugh at her as get out of the shower, I change out side because no one was in here. We talk for a bit as I wait for her, I hear a knock on the door so I go check and look both ways out the door to see no one. I walk back to the bench as savannah says "I'm almost done, Jess." I say "Kay." About five minutes later I hear the door open then close, "What the fuck" I say and go to the door to make sure no one was there. "Did someone come in?" Savannah yells scared, "No!" I yell and lock the door again. She comes out fully dressed and sits on one of the workout machines, "Lets just sit in here for a bit, I feel like the boys are going to be dumb and try to scare us." She says and starts taking about different things as I listen. She went basically all over the world, she's been on like ten student exchange kind of things. When I was telling her about the one time I went somewhere, we here a Big Bang on the door which makes us both scream. "You fucking stupid ass!" I yell at the top of my lungs just to here the boys laughs but the only one I can make out is Ricky's. Once we leave about an hour later at twelve thirty, "Wanna grab a drink first?" Savannah asks as we collect our things I nod and head to the door. We walk out to no lights, we both grab our phones and put the flashlights on. We start to walk toward the kitchen and when we walk past the guys room the doors closed so I drag my nails down the door and we run. Once we get the the kitchen the doors locked and I look outside and it looks like there a man standing out there so I scream and run. Savannah yells and runs but drops her clothes, I laugh as I continue to run. She catches up to me and says "You we're gonna leave me to die?" Once we get to the room out of breath we go to our cots because everyone is already asleep. I comb my hair but I ask savannah to braid it, Keisha hold up Savannahs phone as a flashlight. I'm getting sleepy from her beading my hair, her fake nails make it seem relaxing. Like a massage, I yawn as she finishing and go back to my cot and fall to sleep right away. "I'll tie top to the window by the widow, that is where I'll be. Tip toe through the tulips with me." Is what I wake up to, I sit up as the music stops. "That was dedicated to Jess but it's time to get up guys, we're heading to the maple syrup building in an hour." Darla says through the speakers, I laugh along with the other girls. I lay one my stomach and look at Dana who had her cot right next to mine and say "I don't wanna get up now. I'm so tired." She yawns and nods, I lean my head on my arms and close my eyes. Someone shakes my shoulder and say "Jess, get up we're leaving in ten minutes." I groan and move my face into my arms trying to block out the world. I slowly get up as I hear Dana say "Ten minutes what the hell. I can't get ready in ten minutes." I yawn and stretch my arms, I look over to see some of the guys sitting the table. I grab my makeup bag that I have by my bed and my clothes and walk to the bathroom. I quickly change into my leggings and hoodie, and just do my brows then put on mascara and bronzer. I slip on my socks and run back out of the door and down the hallway, when I turn the corner slipping because of my socks I run into to someone. I try to stop but my body slightly hits theirs and I stop my head from hitting his, I realize it's Ricky. "You have pretty eyes" I say as I step away from him, as he says "Thanks." I say "And your really shirt for a guy." He gasps and puts takes a step back like I physically hurt him, his eyes go wide as he stares at me and puts his hand on his heart. "You know when you leave I will be living in peace again, no one to hurt my heart. No one to mean to me every time I try and have a conversation with them." He says as he look dramatically to the left as if he can't even look at me, I laugh. "In a month your gonna see me again, Dumbass." I point out and he narrows his eyes at me, "Well." He says and pauses, "I'm not gonna miss you in the month of not seeing you." He says and I laugh and flip my hair over my shoulder, "Oh, Hon. You'll miss my amazing self." I smile at him and say "Come with me to put my shoes and snow pants on. I think everyone is already on the bus." I walk towards the room but he says "I'm actually going home, I don't feel good. I was throwing up last night, so my dad is going to come pick me up." I look back and say "Okay." Then turn back to the way to the room, "Wait, that means this is our goodbye." I say as I realize, he nods and says "Yes." And wipes a non existent tear away, I laugh and walk back to him. "I'll miss your dumbness." I hug him and he laughs into my hair, "I'll miss you too, Jess." I hold onto him a bit longer and when I try to let go he still holds his arms around my neck. "Dude, the others are waiting for me." I say and laugh but when he lets me go it kind of looks like he was gonna to cry, I give him a quick hug again. "Just come with me to the room." I tell him and run to the room and put on my pants and shoes. I grab my coat and walk with him to the door I turn to him and say "Bye for now, dork." He laughs and says "Go before you start to cry or something." I narrow my eyes at him and walk out to the bus, once I get on I see that the only person missing is Jess. I go sit with Destiny and ask "Where is Jess?" She takes out one of her headphones and raise her eyebrows. "Jess?" I say as I grab my headphones as well, "Oh, she went to the bathroom." She tells me, we talk for a bit till Jess comes on the bus and we leave. About two mini m destiny starts to listen to her music so I go to grab my phone but I remember I left it on my cot. I was going to put it in my bag but I put it down when Ricky distracted me. I sigh and look up as Quintin looks back at me and asks "Jess, can I use your headphones." I go to say what because I didn't hear him at first, the bus driver stops on the breaks. My body flys forward but I stop my face just in time from hitting the sit, my face is about two inches from Quintin's. His eyes are wide as well, I laugh and say "Yeah, you can. I left my phone at the school." I get up and walk to sit with Shanel since she was the only other person who didn't have headphones in. We talk the whole way to the maple sup place, since we're in front we get off first. We run to the horses before everyone else gets off, "Go pet it, Shanel." I tell her as we come up to it, she laughs and says "No, it might like kill me or something." I step back a couple feet and take out my camera, that's when everyone comes up to the horses. I go to take it but Quintin gets in the way, "Yo! Quintin get outta the picture!" I tell at him and he steps to the left, I click the button just as Trey steps into the picture. I glare at him as he laughs at me, they both come up to me and look at the picture. "Guys, it takes a while for the ink to show up." They both say "Oh." I walk away from them to Shanel. "Everyone inside now please." Carole yells, Shanel and I run ahead of everyone to be first. Once we get in all you can see and smell is syrup. I look at Shanel and say "Yuck." Once everyone packs into the small building we walk out, I don't like syrup and Shanel doesn't like people. We walk up to the puppy that is outside and pet it. "Aw, I want a chocolate bar." Shanel says as she looks at the chocolate, I laugh and give her two dollars. After she buys her chocolate some of the kids come out and Carole says "If you wanna go on the first trip you can." We look at each other and run up to the horses, we hop on the sled. Deagan sits beside Shanel so I move closer to the front with my leg right against the wood. The sled is set up so around ten people can fit, five on both sides. Currently my back is against Quintin's so I lean on him. Once we're deeper into the forest I take out my camera to take a picture. "It won't show up." Deagan says, I look at him and say "Yeah, it will. Your so negative." He smiles and look back at the trees. I take the picture and put it in my pockets for some warmth. We stop by a big tree and the guide person starts talking about it being their biggest maple tree. Shanel and I stand up because we're so squished sitting together. Deagan turns around and puts his phone up to take of picture of the tree, and for some reason Shanel puts her hand in front of his phone to block out the tree. He looks up at her like why you doing that and awkwardly smiles at her, she drops her hand turns back to me with a look saying 'Why the fuck did I just do that.' I start to bust a gut laughing at her, her cheeks go red as Deagan laughs and says "Good one." I stop laughing after a while and sit down, after that it took probably two minutes to get back. We all jump off and walk down to the building as the others go up to the sled. We go inside for a bit and the lady takes us outside to try some syrup. On the table there's a pan of ice and she give us all a little wooden spoon thing. She pours syrup on the ice and swirls the wooden spoon in it then picks it up and it turns into and sucker sort of thing. After the guys do there's Shanel and I make ours, once I'm done I give it to Quintin because he told me how much he loves syrup. "I don't understand you but I do appreciate you." He says and he takes it from me. Everyone walks back inside but Shanel and I, we see the five foot hill of snow and climb to the top. We both slide down on our butts before Shanel sees a black sled, she climbs to the top and slides down the side perfectly. "I wanna go but I don't know how to sled." I say and laugh she looks at me like I'm joking and says "Really?" I nod and climb up to the top and she takes the sled up too, "Get on." She tells me so I do, once I do the sled starts to slide down the back of the hill but she grabs me in time. Zack comes out and says "Go!" And out of no where Shanel pushes me down the hill, but not the side of the hill. I go straight which isn't a hill it's a drop, I scream as I go flying into the air. Then I drop right on my butt, I groan and say "Ow, my butt." Shanel and Zack are laughing at me as I glare at both of them. I then notice that the other group is coming back and saw me fall. That group is Allen, Mackenzie and all the girls but Shanel and I. Zack holds out his hand for me to grab but I'm mad at him for laughing at me so I try to stand up alone. I fall back on my butt and they laugh again, I grab his hand and pull myself up. "I told you I never sled before and go and push my off a hill!" I yell at Shanel who is still laughing. Carole says it's time to go back to the school so we all walk back to the bus. Shanel, Keisha, Janelle and I sit in the back I take out my camera and tell them to smile and I take the picture. We talk the whole way to the school and when we get off we go into the school and sit at the couch again. Dana comes to sit with us and somehow we start talking about music, so I go into the to and grab my phone to show them the song. Dana asks if I wanna go play with the volleyball in the gym with her, I go into the room and go to the table. The guys are in the way so I just lightly throw my phone onto the table, "Woah Jess!" "Jesus Jess" "Calm down Jess." Is said and I laugh as I walk out I hear Trey say "Woah she has one of those cases!" Then Allen says "Yeah, I was playing with it when I was with her the last night." Then Quintin says "What!" I walk out he door before they can start bugging us, we were talking last night when I went to the bathroom at like three in the morning and he did at the same time too. Dana and I play pass with the volleyball then more people join and we stay in a circle playing. Until Carole tells everyone to go into the English room because the elder is here. Savannah and I are the first ones in the room, but I grab the teacher chair first. She sighs and sits beside me on a normal chair, I scoot my body down the chair to get comfortable and lean my head back. About two minutes later everyone comes in and the elder starts to talk, not meaning to I fall sleep and when I wake up I open my eyes to Allen staring right at me. He shakes his head smiling, I smile and turn to the elder and listen. About an hour later we go to have a late lunch. When we're done they tell us to go to the science room, but before Janelle and I walk to grab her gloves and I borrow hers cause I don't know here mine are. Before we go to the room we grab a drink, once we get in the class James starts to talk about syrup again. Turns out we're going to get our own syrup, well we're going to put in a tool and put a bucket under it so syrup can fill it and they'll take it down when they come. James then says you go with your twin. I walk up to the Allen and just as we're about to walk out the door, "Deagan you can go with Allen and Jess. Since Ricky went home." Jess yells and Deagan walks up to us, we walk out the door. Once we outside and across the road we have to walk up a little hill. As I'm walking up my feet kept sinking into the snow, "The snows trying to eat you." Allen says as he grabs my arm and pulls me up the hill, since Allen and Daegan are so tall we're like ten feet in front of everyone. We walk into the forest and Allen chooses a tree and we stand by it. I lean my head on the tree and Allen looks down at me and says "Tried, Jess?" I nod and close my eyes, "Plus, I'm not looking froward to the plane rides home." I say as I lift my head because of the syrup on the tree, "Oh shit, Jess. Did you wake up when that lady hit you head with her elbow?" Daegan says and Allen looks at me and says "Someone hit you?" I look at them and shrug, "I guess not because I don't remember it. I must have stayed asleep." I tell them and then walk to Allen and lean my head on his arm, "Yeah, you and Trey were asleep. You both were basically cuddling while sleeping." Deagan says smiling at me and Allen seems to tense, I smile at Daegan. "Yeah I know. I woke up just before the person hit my head. I wanted to move away from Trey but I saw you were awake so I didn't wanna look like an asshole. So when she hit my head I pretended to be asleep when I moved away from him. When I opened my eyes you were glaring at the person." I tell him and laugh, they both laugh too and Allen says "We need to start so we can go back inside." I walk away from him and stand by the tree, Allen gets the tapping tool. He puts it to tree and get the hammer, he hits it but it doesn't go in. "I think your supposed to tip it upwards when you put it in. So, the syrup can slide down it into the bucket." I say and walk up to him and lean in front of him to show him. "Your hair is different." He says I look back at him and say "I had it braided last night so now it's all puffy." I grab his hand and hold the medal upwards and tell him to hit it. The guys try to set the bucket in the right place and I walk to Shanel and Janelle since they're the closet to me. When I look at their medal thing it's pointed downwards, "It's supposed to be upwards." I say and they fix it, Janelle and I sit down in the snow. I lay down and make a snow angel, Carole says that we're going to their 'Outdoor gym.' Allen walks up to the me and says "Let's go" he holds out his hand but I shake my head. "I'll wait until everyone is ahead of us." He nods and walks away then Destiny comes up to to us and says "Let's go now guys." I get up and tune around to help Janelle up, I pull her up but our gloves slip and she falls down. I fall forward to Destiny, I scream and grab onto her. We both fall onto the ground and I laugh. We walk to their out door gym to see, a fire place with wood as benches around it and a little shelter thing. I walk to Allen and ask "I can go in there and not die right? Like it won't fall on me." He nods and I go to it and slide in, Carole walks by and I start to sing "I tip toe to the window by the window." She laughs and takes a picture of me, "I'll call Darla and you sing that has comes over. She's the one who hates the song." She says and I smile then nod "Darla!" I wait till Carole nods at me and I start to sing it louder then before, Darla looks at me with wide eyes. I laugh at her and she yells "Someone pass me a lighter!" I laugh and say "Hey!" Realizing what she was saying, the shelter thing is made of wood, so it looks like a huge fire starter. Destiny and Savannah come in but there's only room for two people to stand, Savannah is the first to leave then destiny. I pretend to not be able to get out so Janelle and Savannah try to help me. I laugh and climb out myself. We all walk back to the school and chill in the room for about an hour. Jess says that we're going to the mall and for the people who don't want to can stay at the school with James. All the girls plus Trey and Daegan go to mall, we all go on cabs. Destiny, Shanel and I go on one. When we get to the mall we meet up with Janelle, Keisha, Chenoa, Dana and Megan. We all look at a couple shops then Janelle goes to get her brows done. She gives me her toque to wear, I take Shanel with me to the boathouse to buy the same hat. When we leave we see destiny and go to get her. They go into another shop so I walk to the food court and see Dana and Megan, "Hey!" I kind of yell to them and walk towards them but Deagan and Trey are also there and I guess they thought I was saying it to them. They says "Hey" I smile and wave at them and walk to Dana and Megan. I eat a couple of their fries as we talk then Destiny and Shanel come up to us. "Should I get my nails done?" I ask Shanel and she says yes, she comes with to the nail shop. Once I walk in and ask the lady she tells me to sit down, and she give me a thing of colours I can pick of. Shanel and I look through them and manage to pick pink and sliver glitter for one nail. Once the guy starts Shanel leaves to go find out when we leave the mall. She comes back when the guy is half way done my second hand. "We leave in ten minutes." She says and I look at the clock to see it's ten to nine then I look at her with wide eyes, "I don't think I'll be done by then." She nods and says something under her breath that doesn't sound like English. "It means hurry." I nod and watch the guy again, she goes on my phone as destiny comes into the room. Then leaves when it hits nine, finally the guy finishes and after paying. Shanel and I run to the front of the mall, we get there to see jess standing by the door. "Like me see your nails." She says while smiling, woah I thought she was going to mad that we're late. I show them to her and she says "Cute." Destiny and Janelle come running towards us, "I needed a charger." Janelle says and laughs, we walk out to the cab. I get in and slide to the end and when Shanel gets in she hits her head on the cab. I laugh at her and when Janelle gets in she trips and falls onto Shanel, I laugh again. Destiny sits the in the front and we drive to the school, when we get there everyone to crowded outside out door. We walk behind them and once everyone goes in to the room all you see is toilet paper. We walk in and there's what looks like shit but it's granola bar. Allen and Quintuin come in the room and start to clean it up, Allen comes up to me and smiles. "Was it worth it?" I ask and laugh, he nods and says "Hell yeah." They both walk out of the room with their arms full of toilet paper, "Were gonna play a movie in the gym, if you want to watch you can. But if you need to pack you should pack tonight." Carole says as she walks out too, Shanel and I walk out to the couch then all the girls come out too. Dana sits between us and the other sit on the floor, "I'm gonna go get a drink." Shanel says and walks away, she's didn't ask anyone to go with her so I guess she wants to go alone. When she comes back she sits on my armrest since Janelle took her spot. After a while of talking Shanel says "Wanna go for a walk?" I nod and say "Wanna come with me to get a drink?" When we walk into the gym all the guy are sitting on bean bags waiting for James to finish setting up the screen. "Jess!" Allen yells, "Come watch the movie with me?" He moves over on his bean bag and gestures to it, "What movie is it?" I ask him as we walk by him, "The best movie ever made." I laugh and gives him a thumbs up and walk to the kitchen. We walk back to the room and Shanel asks "Wanna watch the movie?" I nod and we grab our blankets and pillows, "We're gonna go watch the movie." I tell the girls and Dana and Janelle get up, "I wanna watch it too." They both say at the same time, Shanel and I walk back to the gym. "Come sit with me, Jess." Allen says as I'm about to throw my stuff on the mat, "I'm gonna sit with Shanella." I say and smile, "Oh burn." Quintin says beside Allen, he shakes his head and looks away. Before I sit down Shanel says "You should go grab us some chips." I sigh and smile at her then walk to the kitchen, when I grab a bag chips. "You break my heart, Jess." I look behind me to see Allen leaning against the door way, I roll my eyes and walk to him. I pad my hand his chest and say "You won't die, Allen." He must have felt my nails because he stepped back and said "Are you trying to hurt me?!" I laugh at him and show him my nails, "Their cute, aren't they?" I look up at him to see he's staring at my eyes not my nails, I put my hand to his face. "They look like like could kill someone." He says in monotone, I laugh at him then do something really dumb. I scratch my pointer finger nail along with jawline, "See it didn't hurt you." I say and show him my finger, he looks at me oddly. "So, your going home tomorrow." He says and leans on the counter, my smile drops as I hear him. I push a smile on my face and say "Your going to miss me when I'm gone." Then I realize it's like the song from pitch perfect, I smile up at him and start clapping my hands walking backwards to the huge counter. I grab a cup and start the beat then I start to sing "I got my ticket for the long way round. Two bottles of whiskey for the way, and I sure would like some sweet company. I'm leaving tomorrow, what do you say. When I'm gone, when I'm gone. Your missing me when I'm gone, your gonna miss me by my hair, by my walk. Your gonna miss me by talk. Ohhhhh." I stop there because I only know that part of the song, Allen laughs and claps. I bow and say "Thank you, Thank you." I look at him as he stops clapping, he says "That was horrible." I can't help but smile huge, I laugh at him and do another bow. "Pft, I'm amazing. You just don't know a great singer when you hear one." I say and point a finger at him, I pick up my chips and say "I'm going back out there now." I open the door to the gym and as I do Kyla is opening it too. I let her and Keisha walk into the kitchen, then I walk out. Once I sit down by Shanel and give her the chips, I look up to the screen and see that I missed the start. "What happens so far?" I whisper to her, "Nothing much, they just left their castle and now their going to get ambushed." That sounds like a weird move plot, I lay down and push my hands through my hair and put it on the pillow. After the attack, that's when I hear Kyla's laugh, not her real laugh but like a high pitched giggle. I look behind me to see Allen is still in the kitchen, I roll my eyes and continue to watch the movie. About half hour in Shanel says she's going back to the room, I stay because I want to watch the movie. Kyla's laugh and Allen's voice are staring to irritate me, their both talking and laughing louder then they need to be. I get too annoyed to stay, I sit up and start to grab my things. Dana jumps beside me and says "I'm gonna sit with you." I look at her and say "I'm heading back to the room now." She pouts and she says "Fine then." I smile at her and walk back to the room. When I get back I throw my blanket and pillow on my bed and go sit at table with the others. "What did I miss?" I ask they all look at me and Savannah says "We're playing hangman." I get up and go to the board since no one else was, "I got one." I put six lines and look back at everyone, Destiny says "Kitten." I sigh and say "No fair. You already know that's my favourite word. I'll do a different one. The game goes on for about ten minutes and now they only have hair and eyes left. "Okay, it has to do with the trip." I tell them and Angel says "I" I nod and put 'i' on the third line. They continue until their dead, "Twin, guys." I say and write, they all groan and say "Ohh." We play for a bit until it's twelve and Carole tells us to head to bed, "Do you wanna come with me to the showers?" Janelle asks me, I nod and grab my phone. We head to the shower room, we talk for a bit then I say "I'm gonna go use the bathroom." She says "Kay" and continues to sing to her music. When I get out of the bathroom and wash my hands I walk out and head back to the shower room. Allen turns the corner and when he sees me, he leans down and starts moving his hands that hold the peace sign. I nod my head at him and walk into the bathroom not really wanting to talk to him. When she gets out of the shower she dresses in her pjs and we sit there for another hour talking. Someone opens the door and yells "Boo!" We both jump back and scream, "You fucking fucker!" I yell when I realize it was Allen's voice, he laughs along with some others and closes the door. We head back to the room and see that everyone is asleep already, I lay down and look at my phone. 1:58. I close my eyes and fall asleep. I open my eyes to see Dana above me lightly slapping my face. "Get up, were leaving in fifteen minutes." I close my eyes again and sigh, I then jump up and grab my outfit and makeup and run to the bathroom. When I get back to the room I grab everything that is mine and throw it into my suitcase and tell Shanella to sit on it so I can zip it up. Carole's voice comes onto the speakers, "The cabs are here, people! Islanders you need to be on them within the next five minutes. I grab my suitcase and and backpack plus my purse and rush to the door with Shanella. I quickly hug her goodbye and rush out the door. "Jess!" I hear someone yell, I look over to see Savannah waving me over. I go to their cab and throw my suitcase in the back, before I could sit down I hear another "Jess!" I look up to see Angel and Summer running to me, they both tackle me. I hug them both and say bye. Once I'm in the cab and were driving away I look behind us to see Summer and Angel standing outside the school. I just realize then that I'm never going to see that school again, or anything in Ontario. We get the airport pretty quickly and sign in our bags and go through security. Now, we're sitting in the waiting room. An hour later we board and I'm sitting with Savannah. We mess around the whole flight, since there was so much turbulence. I would push myself down and make a face while Savannah would either do the same or laugh at me. When we land, we find out that we have five minutes till our next flight. Savannah, Trey, and I run to our next flight but we miss the boarding. We walk back and everyone is about half ways across the airport. Jess says we go for lunch since she needs to find out when we can get another flight. Janelle, Keisha and I get A&W then Starbucks. We head back to the eating area and eat, I sit with Janelle and about half hour later Jess comes back and says our next flight is in ten minutes. We all rush to finish and go to the loading area. Once we board the plane, Savannah and I find our seats. I'm by the window, she's next to me and next to her is some guy. Behind us out some kids who are already crying and screaming. We both put in our head phones and sleep, when I woke up it's beside the kid behind me is kicking my seat. I sigh and look at the little screen I front of me and see that we're just over Alberta. So, I slept about four hours. Savannah is leaning against me sleeping and she starts to wake up. She rolls her eyes as she notices the kids behind us are still crying and screaming. We both put our headphones in to watch a movie. Finally, we land in Vancouver. As soon as we get in the airport we have to walk to the next one and board. So we don't get a break, but thankfully this one is only fifteen minutes. I'm sitting with destiny this time and Dana is sitting with Savannah. "Does anyone have water?" Trey yells, asking anyone. I roll my eyes and grab my water from my bag and toss it back to him. "Your the MVP, Jess." He passes it back and out of no where Dana takes my phone, "Hey!" I say to her and she passes it to Savannah who passes it to Keisha, who passes it to Kyla, who passes it to Trey and when Trey takes a selfie I say "Yo Trey! I have you water so you didn't dehydrate!" Kyla says "No!" But Trey nods his head and says "She did though." I smile at him and say "Thank you." When we land in Victoria we head out to the bus and drive back to the school. Everyone goes to their parents who are waiting but Destiny's and mine, were getting picked up by her mom. Who finally pulls into the parking lot. We say bye to everyone and go to the car and head home. When I get home my mom is making supper, my sister is at her boyfriends and my brother is in his room. At supper I tell my mom I'm not hungry and go to sleep. Today was horrible, the time changes are getting to me again. Now, just a month until they come down here and get to deal with the time changes.
