I ordered a room service breakfast for today. I pulled up my feet and tuned up the television.
If you see these girls, call 889-3920. Then they showed Nikki's and Maureen's pictures. What?! Also Nikki? How did they? Someone knocked on the door. I looked through the hole, it was Hanzel. I wasn't sure if I should open this door or not.
"Come on, I know you're there, girls. Just let me in, we need to talk. Hurry!" he tapped on the door.
I hesitated but I still let him in, "What do you want?"
He removed his detective hat and sat on the chair. He showed something that was from his pocket. It was a badge.
"You're a cop." I remained calm.
"Yes."
"Then you let them do this to Maureen and Nikki? How could you?!" I was practically shouting.
"Hey, calm down, I can explain."
"Calm down?! How do you expect me to calm down when these sort of things are happening?!"
"I know where they are."
That enlightened me a bit, "Where?"
"Let me explain. This Blake guy works for someone but we still haven't found it out yet but surely those friends of his are also working for this person."
"Wait, why are you with them?"
"Can you please let me finish?"
I nodded, humiliated.
"Then we found out that there was this resthouse where why hold the victims and most of them are rich, yes, filthy rich. I work as a federal agent and I was assigned to be an undercover for this case so we were talking about this in the office yesterday and we constructed a plan."
"What plan and where's Tiffany and Cathy?" Yvette asked.
"I don't know. Wait, they're gone?" Hanzel blinked.
"Duh? Why will I ask if they're not gone?" Yvette rolled her eyes.
"We'll find them soon, Cathy probably went out, she's defensive. Here's the plan."
"Hallie, go to that house as a house to house saleslady then try to observe what's inside."
"Saleslady, okay. Doesn't sound that bad."
"You, Yvette, while Hallie is talking with the owner, try to get the people out."
"How can I get the people out? I'm slow." Yvette said.
"Do your best. Try to sneak in the basement or the back door. Let's get going." He stood up and we followed him to his car.
"Here put this on." he gave us a blutooth headset and a bulletproof vest for both of us. I put a coat on top of it so it wouldn't show. There were backups, the other cars put some distance between us and tried to keep themselves hidden when we reached the rest house.
"Hallie, get the vacuum. Yvette, this is Mallory. She will be with you when sneaking in, try to find a tunnel in the basement or somewhere." Hanzel ordered us.
I grabbed the vacuum cleaner then put an I.D. A colleague of Hanzel put some make up on my face and put a wig on. I stepped on the doorstep and rang the doorbell, I put the vacuum down and crossed my arms. A big fat man stood in front of me and he looks really dumb, "What do you want?"
"Hi, good morning sir. I'm here to demonstrate this vacuum cleaner. May I come in?"
I adjusted the radio in my ear and went in, "Be careful. I hope you know what you're doing." Hanzel warned me. Hanzel was sitting in the car, looking through the binoculars.
"Where's the socket?" I asked.
"Uh. What's a socket?"
"The one you put this in." I showed the plug.
He scratched his head, "What's that?"
"Ugh. Nevermind, I'll just find it." I groaned. You better be appreaciating this Hanzel.
I looked behind the sofa and there was a socket, I tried to reach for it then suddenly THUMP.
