Chapter Two: The Unforgivable Mistake

Jasper's Pov

It only takes me five minutes to get to the hospital. I was on my way to the hospital to visit my mum. My dad called and told me that he had arrived there early this morning.

So I could take my time to get over there. My mum has been in a coma for nine months and it's really taking a toll on my father and I.

On the way to the hospital; I decided to hit up my homies Blake and Josh. I put them on my Bluetooth speaker since I'm driving. I don't wanna be one of those people who text and drive. (You people know who you are lol).

I decided to put my phone on a three way call so I don't have to call them individually. After the fourth ring they picked up.

"Hey, Do you guys have any plans today?" I asked while waiting for a response.

"Nope, I'm just chilling out on the coach watching Game of Thrones." Blake said.

" I don't have any plans either today". "Why do you wanna hang out with us? It has been awhile since we all hung out cause you know it's summer break and all." Josh said.

"Yeah we haven't hung out in forever. Where you been man?" Blake asked.

"Guys chill out, school has only been out for two days it hasn't been that long since we hung out and y'all know my mum has been in a coma" I said.

"Has it really only been that short it feels so much longer. We still need to hang out tho. Josh said.

"How was your mum been? Is she still hanging in there?" Blake asked.

She's doing alright I guess. She still hasn't made any progress yet tho. I'm actually on my way to the hospital now. Why don't y'all meet me there and we can smoke in my car." I said

"isn't smoking in a hospital parking lot illegal? Josh and Blake asked at the same time so it was kinda hard to make out what they were saying.

"Come on guys, stop being a bunch of babies. You only live once. Just take my mum as an example." I thought while speeding through the red light.

" No body calls us a bunch babies and gets away with it. We don't back down from anything. We're on our way." They asked again at the same time so it was hard to make out what they were saying. Man sometimes I think their long lost brothers, because of the way they both think alike.

"Now that's what I'm talking about. Well I'm here now, so met me at the west side on the building and I already have the weed." I said while trying to find a parking space.

"Alright good we'll be there in six minutes" they said.

"Alright hurry up" I said while hanging up the phone before they had a chance to respond.

I'm waiting in my black and white Range Rover getting quite bored waiting. So I decide to turn on some music and one of my favorite songs is one. The song is Really Really by Kevin Gates.
