I used to think that my mom, Gabrielle, loved us. Or that my father, Gavin, would never leave behind family. But I can clearly tell you that, my parents saved their own behinds, than their own children. Hello, my name is Gilbert, or Gil as most people call me. Or at least they would call me if they weren't all dead. I thought, children were the future. Aside from that I'm in, or at least I used to in the eleventh grade. One more year if high school and I would've been out of this stupid Mythical Province. I should've never moved here with my parents, true I wouldn't have been as happy without my kid sister, but life with grandma Patty could've been better. I pull myself out of bed. And grab a duffle bag that is conveniently placed at the foot. Looks like mom and dad or shall I say Gavin and Gabrielle left behind their bags, in such a hurry. I really want to cry and hope that this is all a prank, but I must stay strong for Genevieve's sake.
