The Hidden Lies

Just because the sky is clear doesn't mean there aren't clouds.  And Just because fields look bare, doesn't mean there aren't hidden treasures.  Things never look as they seem--or so we have all heard.  Sure, that's true...why would I contradict?  But yet seeing and hearing, and the fallacy of believing are all so contradicting in themselves.  You may see reality for what it is.  You may watch the soap opera in your mind daily.  Yet what you hear has turned you away.  No longer is your mind silent, but it is a buzzing activity of scattered lies.  You used to know the truth but the comfort of deception reigned over common sense.  But was it a lie?  Belief.  Questions.  Your mind is now in turmoil as you persuade yourself that you no longer know the truth, though the truth is the one side you are fighting.  No matter what a person can hear, see, or feel, if they choose to make their bed in a blanket of soft confusion, they will possess that heart wrenching inner peace.  But that peace will destroy the very being in future accommodations and slash that heart till it can no longer thrive on its own.  It is now thriving on the essence of  lies...hidden lies...
