Kendals POV:

I grabbed Cass's hand and led her to the upstairs closet. Every single step we took, made the old wooden floor creek. I put my finger to my mouth, signalling her to be quiet. We reached the closet, I twisted the knob, and locked the door.

I looked over at Cass, tears streaming down her face. I grabbed her and held her tight.

"Your gonna be ok, I promise I wont let anything happen too you." I whispered.

Then the door knob began to twist, Jason our uncle was trying to get in.

"Open the fucking door!" He yelled. Then I heard him insert the key.

"Shit, Cass hide in the very back of the closet, in the corner, cover yourself in some clothes, Im going out the back window." I said leading her to the corner of the closet.

I threw some coats and sweaters on top of her, so it just looked like a pile of clothes.

"Goodbye Cass, I love you." I said opening the window.

"I love y-you to Kendal." She cried, "thanks for being the best sister ever."

I smiled, and climbed out the window, mid-way, Jason opened the door, his face beat red.

"Kendal get back here!" He yelled. He pulled out a knive.

My eyes widened, as long as he dosent touch Cass im ok. I made my way too the top of the roof, just to be faced with poring rain.

Jason also made his way to the top of the roof, still holding the knife,

"Jason dont do this." I yelled over the rain.

He shook his head, "Ive delt with you kids far to long, im done." He said coming towards me with the knife held in the air.

I grabbed the gun from my back pocket. Right then I shot him in his left shoulder. He was still standing, but frozen. I shot him in the thigh, he then fell to the ground.

I heard police sirens, quickly dropped the gun. I saw 6 police cars pull up, and one ambulance.

"Put your hands were we an see them." They yelled. I put my hands above my head, I was completely soaked by now.

"Come down from the roof." They yelled. I made my way down to the pavememt. They quickly hand cuffede and put me in the back of the police car.

Cass. I hope she's ok, I dont want her to be worrying about me. A police officer hopped in the front, and drove. It was very silent, He passed the police station. Where is he taking me.

"Where are you taking me?" I asked. He didnt say anything, But I figures it out when he pulled up to 'Low valley Mental Hospital.'
