I woke up and I was in my room on my bed. I looked around only seeing that guy sitting on my chair next to my bed asleep. Why is he even here? I got up and went to make myself some ramen noodles. I wanted to eat a human instead. I got my bowl of ramen and was about to eat on my bed.
I stopped when I saw the guy woke up and was looking around with worried eyes. I only saw his eyes because he was still wearing his mask. "I'm right here idiot." He turned around as I was eating my noodles. I walked over to my bed while eating my noodles. "How are you eating that when you're a ghoul?"
I smiled, "My taste buds are different from ghouls, I can eat human food and human flesh, I also don't have a scent so ghouls always think i'm a human for some reason." He nodded and took off his mask. Is he getting comfortable in my house?!
"So totally mysterious person i don't even know, what's your name and what's different about you? You have a scent that I used to know." He didn't look at me, he looked at the ground like it was the coolest thing in the world. "My name is Ken Kaneki, I'm a one eyed ghoul." He looked up only seeing me not shocked at all.
"Aren't you shocked?" I shook my head, "Not really, the world is full of surprises y'know?" He didn't answer. I don't really feel comfortable around this guy, he doesn't talk to me. I brought my phone out of my pocket and looked at the time. "Fuck." I said smiling. I hurried off my bed and went to my closet to get my uniform. I can Kaneki's eyes on me when i was getting dressed.
Like i said, he makes me really uncomfortable. "where are you going?" I turned around, "There's a thing called a job to earn money, ever heard of it?" He didn't answer.......again. I got my keys then I left.
~Kaneki's POV~
I saw him slam the door shut. I jumped up a little when he did. We're almost the same height it's just he's a tiny bit shorter. I looked around until I saw an object on the floor. I walked toward it. It was a phone, his phone. I picked it up, it was a F/c phone, seems like t was a iphone 7.
I turned it on seeing if he had a password. He didn't have a password. I went inside his phone looking in to his gallery. He takes a lot of pictures but not of himself. It was pictures of a boy, he had light blue short hair. He had a toothy grin with a peace sign.
I looked in his messages, there was only one contact on there. He doesn't have much friends i'm guessing. I touched to go see who it was. I looked at the conversation. The best friend name was Reiko.
Reiko: My man M/n!
So his name was M/n all along.
M/n: Dude chill, what do you want?
Reiko: I just wanted to hang out y'know?
M/n: Ok fine, where do you wanna go?
Reiko: Chipotle!!! >-<
M/n: Dude....
Reiko: what we can't go?
M/n: Of course we can't go, Chipotle is in America but we have Frijoles.
I chuckled at the conversation. They seem like really close friends. I scrolled down to see the rest of the conversations. I frowned a little when I saw this.
M/n: Reiko, you there?
Reiko: Yeah i'm here what's up?
M/n: I want to tell you something really important, you might not want to be friends with me anymore.
Reiko: Chill bro and just tell me.
M/n: I'm a ghoul, I understand you don't want to friends with me anymore.
Reiko: you're such an dumb ass you know that? I already knew you were a ghoul.
M/n: What how?!
Reiko: Remember when that regular ghoul stabbed you in the shoulder then was about to kill me. His Kagune or something like that was about to hit me but your Kagune stabbed him multiple times. Then you knocked me out so i wouldn't remember.
M/n: So you pretended you forgot what happened when i asked.
Reiko: I'm sorry, I didn't want to ruin our relationship, I don't care if you're a ghoul you are still my best friend.
M/n: thanks
M/n has a kind heart, he just doesn't like showing it. That's what cute about him, wait what am i saying he's not a girl. Whatever i'm just going to watch TV while he's gone.
~M/n POV~
I got in the cafe one our late. "Where the fuck were you?" Touka said. We were in the back so the costumers wouldn't hear us. "I overslept." I said smiling. "For a whole hour?" I nodded not wanting to argue with her. She sighed and left the back room.
I also left the back room looking at all the costumers. They were all looking at the TV. Their faces had sorrow in it. I looked at the TV. It was a person killed by a ghoul. It seem the person was trying to go to a friend's house. A few minutes later they showed the guy and his name. "The person murdered was Reiko Tetsume."
I stood there looking at the screen with wide eyes. He's dead.....the person I only trusted. My first and only best friend, dead. I was breathing heavily holding my chest.

I was having a major panic attack. "M/n table tw-woah are you ok?!" I heard Touka loud and clear. For some reason i couldn't speak.
Then I blacked out......again.
~Kaneki's POV~
I saw the news, It was Reiko. I'm now running to the cafe he works at, Anteiku. I got there seeing Touka screaming M/n name. "M/n wake up, get up!" People were surrounding him worried.
I ran over there and picked M/n up to Touka's room. Touka glared at me when she saw me. I didn't look at her nor even talked to her.
I don't care about Touka right now even know i miss her, M/n is the only one that matters right now.
(You smell that? That's the smell of victory or chocolate.....
