"Hey, I've decided to talk to Adrian's family for a while, maybe they can can give us some ideas...they were present at your father's funeral I guess", Alexa jumped upon the bench to sit on the table and continued, "So, they might be holding a lot of information to make our jobs easier."

"Um, all these we're doing...aren't these making my brother and mom on the negative side?" I asked pushing her slightly down so that she sits on the bench and next to me.

"Well, presumably the thing is they aren't on the 'negative' side but the fact is when you're doing some sort of investigating stuff like this, you got'ta make everyone under that suspicion...it could be me, it could be you, your family or Mrs. Gonzales." She laughed.

"But that's not the answer to my question." I ignored the joke.

"Hey Clem, what's wrong? You look sad dude, I was just joking and some parts to it is true; every single person here is a victim of suspicion. You have to admit it mate." She nudged me. I simply smiled and some smirk appeared onto my face, it was my involuntary muscles; because those weren't the reaction I actually wanted to give.

During class (Teacher enters)

"Hey, you got the book?" Alexa slightly pinches my arm below the bench which made me wince a bit.

"What book?"

"The geography one, come on! She's gon'na kill us."

"Guess what, I brought the book but the thing is..."

"The thing is?"

"I ain't sharing." I stick out my tongue to annoy her.

Now, Alexa. The smart dumbass one. The geography book was yellow in color and our math is also yellow in color. She took out that book and acted like yeah, she's so concentrated. I couldn't help getting annoyed more, her tactics. And yes the teacher as always, acting more like a dumbass never noticed. The teachers don't actually come around the attentive students, they come across the students who are never paying attention and so that they can be punished.

After class

"So... do you wan'na go to Adrian's place?" She nudged me.

"I don't feel affirmative about that." I slide back her hand. Usually she keeps nudging me all the time but today, or should I say nowadays, this is annoying me.

"Well, anyway... I have a feeling you want to change the TOPIC?"

"Yeah, you got me."

"So, lets head towards the lawn out there, we'll talk under the open sky, on the dreamy grass, lying like velvet plies..." she kept on rhyming, like we're in the midst of a wonderland.

At lawn

"Any topic?" Alexa lies down on the grass with her hands at the back.

"Well, you start."

"Okay... so let's play I've got a feeling," she sat up, "do you know the drill?"

"Yeah I do, let's start. You first." I smiled.

A: I have a feeling you're straight.

C: I have a feeling you like apple pies.

A: I have a feeling you like music.

C: I have a feeling you hate my problems.

A: I have a feeling...um...umm, Derek likes you.

"Ow shit!" She shouted, "that came too fast" she whispered, but it was never louder.

"Derek likes me?" I clinched my brows.

"Well, don't you think so?"

"Why would I? He's my brother's friend."

"Well, he cares a lot for you...you see that right?"

"The heck? That makes no sense. You care for me too, that doesn't mean you're all lesbo for me."

"Gosh, Clem...shut up I'm straight! It's just he is different...and..."

And...?"

"That too perfect."

"Oh really? He was studying something and the he changes the topic and takes course on another thing. He's perfect?"

"Well, what does that relate?"

"Stability. He has no f***ing stability."

"Woah woah...okay."
