I was earning some money from the artist thing and well, it was satisfactory. On one hand I got good money, on the other hand, I got appreciation. I was quite of a concentrating conscious oxford citizen, but...one thing roaming in my mind was- Derek.

"Derek, Derek, Derek, Derek, Derek, Derek..." I was whispering in my mind and dropped three of the heavy books on his leg, when he accidentally showed up. It's like I have supernatural powers to teleport people.

He winced in pain which was not much as expected, he tried to hide the rest of the pain. And as I know Derek shows up when he wants to talk alone, we go towards the highway a bit on his car.

The west wind was blowing hard and it was quite relaxing. The sky was cloudy but we knew it won't rain.

"So how's everything going? I had visited Adrian's and I got some stuff to hear...maybe that would do some support."

"Derek, stop it."

"What?"

"I don't wan'na know how my dad died. It's just after that my mom and brother reared me up. So, I owe them something good not all these."

"You really don't wan'na hear? It's solid stuff."

"No please."

"Okay, but think about it again."

"No."

It was a shot of quiet air around us for a while.

"Derek?"

"aha?"

"Do you like me?" I looked away.

I didn't see his response but I could bet all the money in the world that surely he blushed.

"Derek?" I looked at him.

"Clem, I don't want this to be the stuff to talk."

"Please tell me."

"Well, I just want to be by your side always."

I smiled.

"Clem, I don't want our relation to go bad or something."

"I feel it coming but...I like you Derek."

"Ha?"

"That came fast."

"No offence, but I don't know."

"I should've kissed you now, but I like it how it's coming...let it flow." I hugged him and placed a slight kiss on his t-shirt which he probably didn't feel. He was still blushing and then started to shiver.

"I don't have the cure for epilepsy..." I laughed.

"It's okay...I like this epilepsy..."

It was almost 1:45 am flashing on the clock and someone knocked on the door. Alexa was sleeping and I was the only one awake tonight, being a girl who was feeling different. I went on to open the door and---

It was none but...my brother.

***

"Bro, it's just...", I sighed, "I don't know...I think I'm doing it wrong, but some way either..." I stopped without completing the sentence, I was wordless that moment.

"Don't worry, all these will look ridiculous to you in a few years anyway." He smirked and looked away.

"Can I join the family back?" I asked, my eyes still hard, though I had expected tears to come, to feel I'm missing them.

"No", he moved to the wall and crossed his hands, "not unless you take yourself as a Klein, not Waters."

"I'm a Klein, please brother."

"You are not 'a' Klein, you have to be the Klein."

It was almost 2;38 am as he left, like half-an-hour; still felt as if he just came and went away.
