Paul pushed his back against the stone wall behind him as he pulled the collar of his coat further up around his neck. The wall behind him didn't seem to offer any real comfort or protection from the raging wind and rain. He looked out over the sea taking everything in through his gentle green eyes which where part of a strong handsome face. His jaw was firmly set as he saw the waves towering up in the sky like wild stallions towering above each other before crashing down into the sea and disappearing. He looked up only to see a wave of spray flying in his direction like a squadron of tiger moths coming ready to make a kill. The water drove itself into him before slipping back into the sea to prepare itself for another attack against him.
He looked over at the wall which was about 800 meters down from him where he knew his twin Andrew would be facing the same as him. Without warning a crack echoed around the sky witch seemed to be answered instantly by a equally angry flash of lightning.
The flash lit up everything for a split second. The sea glinted evilly as it hurled itself against the wall as it it was determined to break it into a million tiny pieces that could never be destroyed.
Click.
Paul started. There had been a noise. He had heard it. He tilted his head up towards where he thought the noise had come from. There was a shuffling now. Then he heard the click again. And again.
A voice then fell upon his ears. It wasn't a voice that he recognized and as he strained to make out the words they where stolen by the wind. Stealing words he needed was one crime the wind had committed against him was one cruelty the wind had committed against him and it wasn't prepared to stop there. The wind then began to pummel him viciously and he forgot about everything other than trying to stay upright. Gradually he became aware of flashes. These weren't flashes from lightning. This was some form of electronic light.
