Kylia's pov
Last day of school
I was in my last few minutes of junior year and I was kinda scared to go home because I was finally going to tell my mom and dad that my bestfriend taleah sent me a ticket to go to California for the summer.
The bell finally rang
I was getting ready to leave class when someone grabbed my wrist and pulled me back I looked back and seen my boyfriend Alex.
"Hey Alex whats up?"
"Nothing just wondering what your doing this summer"
"I'm going to Cali for the summer"
"Oh" he says and walks away
At home
I finally got home and went in the living room where my parents were and I was shaking so bad but I just went ahead and said it
"Mom,dad" I said getting there attention
"What do you want" My mother spat at me
"I was wondering if I could go to California this summer?"
"Do you have the money to go" my dad said
"Taleah sent me a ticket to get there and get back"
"Why would we care? At least we get rid of you" my mother spat at me again
"Whatever i'm going to pack" I said while rolling my eyes
When I was walking away my dad grabbed my wrist holding it tight and hurting it really bad.
"Apologize to your mother NOW" He practically growled at me
"I'm sorry" I spat at my mom
He finally let me go but before that he punched me in the face so hard that im pretty sure left a bruise.
I hurried and ran up to my room and checked where he had hit me and he sure did leave a bruise.Then my phone dinged and I seen I had a text from Alex
Alex❤❤:Hey can you meet me at the park
Me:I really cant I have to pack because I am leaving tomorrow
Alex❤❤:So you not even planning to see me before tomorrow
Me:I cant Alex
Alex❤❤:Whatever Kylia were done
I felt like I was about to cry but then I sucked it up and realized I had to pack
After packing
I was finally done and realized it was already 10:00 pm and I had to catch my plane at 7 in the morning so I decided to go to bed.
