Jason seemed distant lately. It was like, something was on his shoulders. I usually spent my nights with Leo since his breakup with Calypso. Poor guy, he's been crying over her ever since. Jason went back to Camp Jupiter like how he always does every three weeks. I've always missed him, and on those 3 week nights, me and Leo would watch sad movies like The Fault In Our Stars or Twilight and just cry our pain out.
Since Annabeth was having a healthy relationship, she would turn down our invitation and hang with her boyfriend Percy Jackson. They were so cute together, that's also what me and Leo would cry about. How we would never be as cute at them. And it was also because Percy and Annabeth were engaged and their wedding was in a week! I was so happy for them.
Tonight, once again on a Friday Night, we sat in Aphrodite cabin watching a movie called Love, Rosie. My siblings told me this movie related to them, Leo said that it had to because of all the pregnancies coming from them. I laughed quietly, but also kind of offended.
As we watched the movie, I couldn't help but think about Jason. He didn't seem too bummed out at Camp Jupiter when we had dropped him off. Could he be cheating on me? No- I thought to myself. You are just making yourself jealous Piper, grow up! But I couldn't help but have tears in my eyes as we got to the funeral scene.
"WHY'D HE HAVE TO DIE?!" Leo cried. We hugged as we cried even more. After the movie was over I decided to go to sleep. I waved to Leo goodnight, and crashed onto my bed.
~~Flash forward to week after wedding of Percabeth~~ (Don't worry, I'll make a book😊)
As Percy and Annabeth waved goodbye, I sighed. They were heading to New Rome, where they had talked about moving to ever since they were 16. We were all 23 now and lived mature lives. Well, except for Hazel who was still younger than us. As for a fact, Hazel and Frank were also married!
Great, I'd be the last one married. Well, other than Leo who was still single af. But at least he had us. Jason was back at Camp Half-Blood for the wedding. We talked briefly about marriage, it was just never one of his interests, which sort of bummed me out. It was going to be a long day.
I slouched on the couch (ha, it rhymes) feeling so stupid. I need my mom, I needed advice from her. There was no way I was going to survive through this whole life thing. I love Jason and I'm pretty sure he loves me too, but I can't picture that. As I groaned, Lacy and Mitchell entered Aphrodite cabin.
"What do you guys want? Can't you see I'm thinking about life right now?" I said, my voice deep. "Get dressed. Someone's here to see you." I raised an eyebrow, clearly confused. Lacy sat me down in the beauty chair, which I hated worse than Drew's makeup tips. I fought with them about applying makeup to my face, and I won, using my charm speak of course.
They gave me a white flowing dress with open ends (picture above), golden sandals, and my hair was left out. I saw Leo as he handed me his hand. "Leo? What's this?!" I asked laughing. "Do you trust me beauty queen?" He asked. "Um. No." Leo was upset. "Okay but, you do trust Aphrodite right? Never mind let's just get this done." He tied the blindfold around my eyes and led me to my 'surprise'
I was nervous, knowing Leo had to do with this. I felt the cold, yet dry sand underneath my feet as I sent out a breath of relief. "Okay, can I take the blindfold off now?" "Just wait... now!" I pulled the blindfold up, finding stringed lights on the floor of the beach surrounding me and creating a heart. I felt a tap on my shoulder as I turned to see Jason dressed nicely.
He wore white shorts, and blue hoody sweatshirt with converse.

I covered my mouth in shock, as Jason grabbed my hands. "If this goes well, I hope you'll remember this moment for a long time." He said. I felt tears sting my eyes, especially since he was raising his hand and cupping my face. "Piper McLean, you are the strongest, most bravest girl in this entire world. Everyday I wake up, and you're the first thing I think about."
I definitely felt my tears fall. "If there's one thing I know, it's that I love you. And I will promise this to you. With these simple words." "Turn around!" I heard Leo's voice yell. I turned, gasping. There were all my friends, including Percy and Annabeth with a sign. Frank held up the sign that said Piper, Hazel held McLean, Percy held Will, Annabeth held You, Leo held Marry, and Jason ran to the side and held up a big sign painted in red that said ME?!
I smiled, as Jason ran back to me. He took my hands, and kneeled on one knee. "Piper McLean, will you do me the honors. And make me the happiest demigod on this earth, and marry me?" "Yes super man. Yes!" As Jason slipped the ring on my finger, I jumped into his arms and tackled him. "I love you." Jason said into my ear. "I love you too." I replied.
