"I can't believe I did it." Liam said elatedly.

The car came to a stop and I realised that through all of that craziness, we had made it.

"You know for a minute there I thought I was going to tear you three apart." Liam admitted, giigling like an idiot.

"Yeah, that would have made for an awkward ride home so thank you." Stiles stated sarcastically.

"Do you think you can keep the same level of control inside La Iglecea?" Derek asked.

Instead of answering Liam threw his hand out, showing off his claws.

"Alright, we might actually be able to do this." Stiles said.

Derek grinned, really grinned and then moved over to the doors, flinging them open.

And was met by a Berserker who, quick as a flash, pulled him out of the van and threw him over onto a stone ridge.

A scream was stuck in my throat and the little voice in my ear was getting louder. I could hear the awful sound of something sharp against flesh but I couldn't look, I just couldn't.

Stiles was yelling and then I heard several gun shots. I forced my legs to move myself out of the van and was met by a retreating Beresker that seemed to melt into the darkness.

Braeden's gun was still smoking and Malia and Peter had rushed out of the car. Worst of all was Derek who was lying crumpled against the ridge, Braeden beside him, his abdomen sticky with blood.

"How bad is it?" Peter asked, is voice low and unreadable.

"I'm fine! I'm fine. Just get to Scott!" Derek choked out. There was blood on his lips.

No one moved, except me, I was shaking.

"Can you do something?" Braeden yelled at me and I moved over to touch Derek's already clammy skin.

"I can heal small cuts and bruises, a twisted ankle maybe but..." I trailed off.

"The best I could do is take your pain, derek." I said, my voice small and helpless.

"Just find him, w'll be right behind you." he said, recahing for Braeden's hand.

No one moved, again.

"Go!" He yelled, with all the strength that he could muster.

I stretched up to my full height and had just reached where Stiles was standing when derek spoke again.

"Hey. Save him." He said, his voice wavering.

I didn't want to leave him but I felt warm, familiar hands tug at my arm. I looked up to see Stiles face urging me to move and so I did.

I left Derek and Braeden, in the dust and the moonlight and I ran.

We entered the church following Peter. There were stairs that moved down underneath the church and split off into a warren of corridors. We ran around blindly until Peter spoke up.

"Stop! We've got to figure out where we are then we've got to figure out how to find Scott and Kira. " He said logically.

Suddenly Stiles' phone rang scaring us all half to death. He brought it out of his pocket and the name displayed, 'Dad'.

"How do I even have service?" He mumbled before pressing it to his ear. I only heard snippets of the conversation whilst trying to silence this god damn voice in my head.

"Hi Dad!" He started. "Hey dad I know you're angry but.." He paused. "Okay well, when I get back you can ground me." "Doy you want me to lie?" "Find Lydia, she was at the school we sent Mason to check on her but now we haven't heard back from either of them." "I don't know Dad, I don't know what I'm doing. I'm trying to save my friends." "Dad, if it's one of the Berserkers at the school you're gonna need firepower. Alot."
