Chapter One:

It was the first day of junior year and Addison Chapman walked through the doors of her school, Eldridge High. She went to find her locker, and her best friend, the new girl she met over the summer, Morgan Palmer. Addison and Morgan had gotten pretty close this summer and Addison shared so many secrets with Morgan. Addison turned the corner and saw that Morgan was talking to someone behind her open locker. Addison started walking towards Morgan to see if they had any classes together when Morgan closed her locker, and there stood Nikki Bentley. Nikki Bentley was the meanest girl in school. She hated Addison, and always wanted to be better than her. Addison stopped dead in her tracks and watched as Nikki stared straight at her with a huge smirk on her face. Addison looked at Morgan who looked completely disgusted with her. The two girls interlocked arms and started walking together. The kids parted a path for the two now queen bees. Addison wanted to run to the bathroom, after  Nikki mouthed the words "I win, loser" to her. Addison knew right then and there that her life was officially over.

Addison and Morgan were supposed to be best friends! Addison told her everything, so many secrets. Addison and Morgan were always together, and now Morgan knew all her secrets. Even the things she had said privately to Morgan about Nikki. Addison was so confused as she walked to her locker and set it, placing her stuff neatly inside. Something clearly wasn't adding up and Addison was worried that this was all a big fat trap. She hurried to her first period class and barely paid attention to it. She couldn't focus on anything, not until she figured out what was going on. After first period, Addison went back to her locker and inside was a note that read:

" Wow we honestly cant believe that you didn't figure out we were cousins. I told Morgan all about my little enemy, Miss Addison Renee Chapman. I cant believe you actually thought someone cared about you. I mean your mom didn't. That's why she left, and that's why your dads always working. All these secrets, poor little Addison. Don't worry there is more than just one secret we know! "-Nikki

Addison was so shocked. Now not only was Nikki trying to ruin her life, she had hundreds of secrets to help her. The rest of the day went by pretty slow, and Addison went out of her way just to avoid Nikki and Morgan. It wasn't easy but Addison couldn't stand looking at the two girls, they had figured out a way to completely make a fool out of her. By the end of the day Addison was ready to get home, and when she finally did she ran straight to her room. She cried out in the empty house. All she knew to say was, "I am so scared". Well she had the right to be, because just as she said that her phone buzzed with a text. Well, this time the difference is that Morgan wasn't asking to come over.

Chapter Two:

Addison woke up with her phone in her hand, and with dried tears all over her face. She realized she had read the texts she had gotten from Nikki and Morgan, and had cried herself slowly to sleep. The texts were mean things like, "You wanted to commit suicide when your mom left, maybe you'll finally die now that Morgan left too".  As Addison reread the text she broke down and started crying again. Morgan was the only person who knew that Addison used to have suicidal thoughts, and that she used to blame herself for her mom leaving. Now there was no doubt in Addison's mind that Morgan would tell Nikki everything, every little secret. "Nikki probably already knows about my crush on Cody", Addison thought to herself. "She's going to tell him and then we will never talk again". Cody James Johansen, this was the name of that cute blonde haired boy at school. The boy whose name was written all over Addison's diary, and the catcher for the boys baseball team. Him and Addison talked a few times at games last year, and sometimes during the summer practices. He would sometimes offer to catch for her, because Addison was the pitcher for the softball team. Addison had started to get a crush on her hot baseball friend over the summer, and she had told Morgan all about it. Addison could tell by the new text that she had just received, that Morgan defiantly didn't forget about Cody. "You think Cody will ever like you? He just feels sorry for you. You better not talk to him again, because he is mine now." Addison read the text from Nikki out loud and started crying again. She didn't know what to do, but she just hoped that the bullying stopped.
