Beep Beep Beep
>> No! <<
Beep Beep Beep
>> Only a few more minutes, pleease. <<The snooze of the alarm clock let Bennet sleep five more minutes.
Till the alarm went on again.Beep, Beep, Beep
>>I am going to stand up...
soon.<<"Bennet Jacobs! Move your ass out of bed! - Now!"
"Okay, okay... I am awake!"
"Hurry! Or you going to be late!"
"I am practically ready, Mam!"When Ben tried to stand up, he almost fell out the bed. The blanket had captured his body. He had to fight his way out. On the path to freedom, he kicked his legs in all directions.
"Ahhhrrrr!", he groaned.
>> This is exhausting! <<The blanket fell on the floor - Bennet lay outstretched on the mattress and breathed heavily. After he had calmed down, he made a second attempt to get out of bed. Almost failing the second time, he stumbled up.
"What a start in the day!"Now that his feet were standing on solid ground, he stretched his body. Yawning, he outstretched his arms up to the ceiling. He could touch it with his fingers. Using the pressure of his body between ceiling and floor, he pushed. The cracking if his joints filled the room.
God! He was tired. His room was ultimate chaos and he kind of liked it - never admitting that out loud!
>>Tidy and clean? That would never happen<<He opened his wardrobe and collected today's cloth. A white shirt, flannel head, well worn jeans and a pair of boots; his typical style „The lumberjack" was completed.
Honestly, he didn't give cloth much thought, because Bennet felt comfortable the way he dressed, he felt like himself.Slowly, he walked towards the family bathroom.
Rubbing his lower belly, his hand stroke over his skin; right above his boxers up to his chest.
His feet were bare and the cold tile made a chill crawl up his body. So he tip toed over the bathroom floor to reach save ground. In front of the sink lay a floral bathmat, his rescue.Although he was already late, his movements were slow. He couldn't find the energy to hurry. But he didn't let himself stress too much about it. It wouldn't be the first, nor the last time that he was late. Ben chuckled to himself. When he was on point or even early - something had to be truly wrong. Because he was a creature of habit.
The early bird could bite him.Sliding down his boxer he stepped in the shower. >>Maybe a cold one for today?<<
Something had to wake him up. Once again he regretted going to bed so late. But in the late evening, sleep was the farthest form his mind. There were always so many things to do or places to be.Loud music busted out of the upper bathroom, while the remaining members of the family were in the kitchen, down stairs, eating breakfast.
"He is soo going to be late, again." Charlie, Ben's hardly older twin brother, remarked.
Johanna Jacobs, mother of the Pack, turned away from the coffee machine. „He is a hopeless case," she said head-shaking.
In front of her was the kitchen table, filled with food. There were fresh backed goods, scrambled eggs, cold cuts, marmalade, fruits, coffee, juice... it was a paradise. On that table, reading today's newspaper sat Michael Jacobs, father, leader, the head of the Pack. Completing the passage he was reading, he looked up slowly: "He is never going to change, is he?" Johanna let out an angry snort. "He has to! He has a position to fill. Responsibilities! He is an Alphas son, your hair!" She opened a kitchen cupboard and began to fish for something. Taking out a coffee mug to go.
"Maybe if he finds the right mate...," she commented absently.
