" Glad you dropped by, Blue." Piper waved,"blue?" Fiona asked "you might not be wearing the vault suit now but I saw it earlier. And the pipboy dead give away. What are you wearing? Erin's cloths? Seriously Erin!? You gave her the bloody pants!?" Erin shrugged looking at the pants Fiona was wearing, they were comfort enough for her, a bit baggy. "Ugh Erin you can't make a lady wear the blood pants, that's gross." "you saw her vault suit. You got a better idea?" They continued to bicker as Fiona spaced out. Piper clapped getting the pairs attention. "Ok let's get started." She sighed sitting back down, motioning for Fiona to sit Infront of her. Erin leaned against the washing machine next to Piper. She leaned forward looking Fiona I'm the eyes. " So here's the deal, I want an interview. Your life story in print. I think it's time Diamond City had a little outside perspective on the Commonwealth." She smiled. "You do that, and...I'll tell you what I'll come with you. Watch your back as you get used to the world above ground." Piper negotiated

Finnaly somone nicer than Erin!

Fiona jumping to except before Erin interrupted "three's a crowd Piper, besides you should stay with Nat. " He walked over dropping into the couch next to Piper. Who rolled her eyes scooting away from him.

I just can't catch a break can i

Fiona sighed and nodded "alright piper I'm in." She smiled maybe if there was an article people could point her in a direction to find her brother. "Good. Let's get down to business."

"So I know you're from a vault. How would you describe your time inside?" Fiona shivered remembering the image of her mom. "Well my family and I were frozen, I didn't spend much time in the vault." Fiona answered looking at the ground. "Wait.. you were boxed up in a fridge? The whole time? Are you saying you were alive before the war?" Piper gazed at the young girl in awe. Fiona herself was still a bit shocker at the fact. "You're telling me you saw everything before they blasted it to pieces?" With that it finally clicked in her mind. "Y-yeah. I'm over 200 years old." "Oh my god, "the woman out of time." Piper stared. Erin who had spaced out was now completely at attention. "So you seen the Commonwealth, diamond city, how does it compare to your old life?" Piper continued. "Can you even compare the two? The world out here... It's nothing like the one I left." Fiona frowned, fiddling with her fingers, scratching the blood from under her nails. "Feeling a little homesick are we? Can't say I blame you." "Now I already know you're looking for your brother. Shaun. Do you suspect the institute was involved in his kidnapping?" Fiona was taken aback by the question, never hearing of the institute prior. "The institute? Who are they?" "That, Blue, is the biggest mystery in the Commonwealth. No one really knows who or where they are. But their handiwork is all over. Synths, synthetic people, sent from their hidden labs to do the institute's dirty work." Piper grimaced. "Sometimes they replace a person with a synth double, a little covert  agent no one would ever suspect." Erin chimed in.  "Now not everything that goes wrong has the institute behind it, but there's always a chance, that's why I'm asking." Piper finished. Fiona thought about if for a minute, it made sense that they probably took him, but why? "Yeah sounds like they might be involved." She answered solemnly "not even a baby is safe from them. And people wonder why I can't just look the other way." Her voice faultering as well.

"For the last part of our interview, I'd like to so something different.  I want you to make a statement to diamond city directly. The threat of kidnapping is all but ignore in the Commonwealth, everyone wants to pretend it doesn't happen. So what would you say to someone out there who's lost a loved one, but might be scared or too numb to the world to look for them?" Piper leaned in. Fiona knew she really had to make this count, this question kind of called her out. What is going to keep her going? "You can only take it one day at a time. Just keep going, that's all anyone can do." She said with a sad smile. "Were all just doing what he have to, huh? I think my readers can relate to that." She smiled closing her notebook. "That's everything. It's gonna take some time to put this all together, but I think your story is gonna give Diamond City plenty to talk about." Fiona nodded as she stood. "And you know where to find me if you get tired of this big idiot." She joked pointing to Erin who scoffed standing next to Fiona.
