Rachel sighed deeply.

Alyssa, who was sitting in the back seat with her patted her back. "I know, it's a lot to take in."

Levi was turned around. He kept his concerned eyes on Rachel. "You'll be fine. This is a natural process. Everyone goes through it."

"Then why did I not learn about it like everyone else? Oh I know, because an evil witch is ready to take over. Wow, real assuring." Rachel placed her palms on her eyes and hung her head low.

Alyssa bit back a smile at Levi's surprised expression.

"Okay, so that's one abnormal thing but other than that.. it's okay." Levi insisted.

"Try to recall?" Alyssa asked. "The very last thing you remember."

"My exams just got over-"

"Exams? How old are you?" Levi asked.

"Well, since I'm dead. Technically, I was 21 a few hours back."

"Continue." Alyssa said.

"Me and my friends went out to celebrate. I felt the need to get some fresh air and so I walked out.."

Black heels clicked on the wet ground. Rachel was wearing the same outfit. She looked up at the sky.

*voiceover* The sky was starlit.

"Are you Rachel?" A deep, rough voice made Rachel turn.

"Who's asking?" Rachel tried to get a better look but the figure was standing in the dark, making it hard to see.

"No one."

"Excuse me?" Rachel squinted her eyes and then suddenly, a red light emitted from the figure and spread all over.

"That's about it. A sharp pain in the stomach and I was dead." Rachel completed as she stared into space.

Levi bit his lip. "That's a pretty unusual way of dying."

"Is, is something wrong with me?"

"No, Rachel. Everything's good." Alyssa said. "I think it'll be better if you stay with us for a while. At least till we find another spirit or Angels.. every spirit is in hiding, otherwise they're turned into a soldier."

"I don't want that to happen." Rachel said, wide eyed.

"It won't. You're safe with us." Levi assured.

"Can I have a moment alone please?" She asked.

"Yeah, sure."

"Yeah."

"I'll be.. out.." Rachel said and got out of the car. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, soaking it all in.

"Poor girl." Levi said when she was out.

"I know." Alyssa said, looking at Rachel through the window as she walked around a little.

"What do we of her?"

"Can't take her with us." Alyssa sighed. "She'll be in danger. And can't leave her alone either."

"And who knows when the Angels show up." Levi added.

"Or if the soldiers do before them."

"Great." He muttered.

A thought struck Alyssa.
