I was walking down the street heading home from a football game. Then i heard a blood curddling scream come from an alley a few feet infront of me.

I sprinted to where the scream came from. I walked into the alley and saw a baby crying near a dumpster and the mother's lifeless body laying a few feet away.

I quickly ran to the baby and picked her up. I was about to walk out of the alley with the baby but then I heard a quick movement behind me.

I turned around to see a quick dark shadow. I quickly pulled out my phone and dialed 911.

The operator picked up," hi this is emergency services how may I help you."

I quickly told them what I found and they said," dispatch is on the way."

As soon as the person hung up police cars showed up. A officer walked up to me and said,"hi I'm officer Chris."

I shook his hand and said I'm Lexi Paris. He looked at the baby and said," we will have special services come take the baby."

I quickly shook my head and said no I will take care of her. He smiled and said," okay I will have one of my partner's escort you home safely." I shook my head and walked to a police car.

☆Jackson's POV☆

She screamed in pain as i bit into her neck. Soon she laid still but then I heard running so I hid in the shadows.

I watched as she walked into the alley and I was about to attack but something stopped me.

I watched as she ran to the baby laying by the trash. She picked it up and craddled her then she went to the now dead mother and checked if she was breathing.

She soon pulled away and walked towards the front of the alley. I tried to move quietly but made a slight noise.

She looked back and pulled out her phone. Soon police cars came and I went to the roof to watch.

The officer spoke to her. Then i heard her voice as she said," I'm Lexi Paris." I ignored what else was said.

Until she spoke again saying," no I will take care of her." I watched as she walked to a police car and they drove off. I quickly followed them so I could see her again.

Once the police officer pulled up in my drive way. I got out and told him thank you.

He waved goodbye and i headed into the house. When i walked in my mom was in the kitchen so I walked to where she was.

When I walked in she turned around and her eyes went wide. She said," Lexi you never said you were pregnant." I smiled and said cause I never was.

She looked at the baby girl in my arms and said," then how." I then said mom please sit down and I will tell you everything. She nodded and then I told her everything.

She got up and hugged me while saying," I'm glad i raised you to do what's right sweetheart."

She then looked at the baby and said," what are we gonna name her." I smiled and said Kate Renea.

My mom smiled and asked,"can I hold her." I looked at her and said you never have to ask to hold your daughter mom.

She shook her head and said," no she's your daughter and I will help raise her and love her like I love you.

I smiled and hugged my mom I pulled back and said how about we go shoping tommorrow for Kate and you pick whatever you want for her and I'll help pay.
