Prologue:

It was told by many that the goddess Diana, goddess of the moon and earth had two deities, Egeria a water nymph and Viribus the woodland god. Yet Diana's soul purpose is to keep the night from coming to full darkness. She had placed herself behind her twin brother Apollo who was the god of the sun. She had followed her brother every night to reflect his light upon her brilliant beautiful bright white gown.

People on earth praised and loved the goddess for lighting up the darkness. Yet as also goddess of nature and child birth she was also able to take the form of a human. One night she looked down at the earth from the moon and fell madly in love with a Shepard. The Shepard was a beautiful mortal and Diana admired him from above. So one night she had left her position from behind her brother and went down to earth to meet her love. She had been gone for three nights and many people become afraid of the darkness without the moon's light.

Many thought the darkness of an omen and feared the outcome of the darkness. Jupiter the king of the gods became aware of the situation and cast a spell on her lover the Shepard granting him eternal sleep. Diana as she heard of Jupiter's warning returned back behind her brother and reflected his light again. Yet while she was gone the darkness had become a portal for all the sinful things to pass through and enter the world of the living mortals. All sorts of creatures crept from the depths of the underworld, Demons, monster, witches, familiars, ogres, earth demons and dimensional demons.

Diana saw the fear and horrible things these creatures where causing for the mortal people. Yet her love for the Shepard grew and for three nights of every month she had returned to earth where she met her lover and became one. As their love flourished Diana gave earth a wonderful gift. She gave the world hope along with a wonderful protector of the night, she gave earth a daughter powerful and wise like her mother, mortal like her father.

She had left the child in the care of her two deities, Egeria and Virbius. The child was blessed by many especially Venus who had also given earth warriors of her own to help protect hope and the mortal goddess.
