I opened the door and people come flooding inside. As each person enters, I give them a friendly hug, and usher them into the living room. Once everyone's inside, I grab a glass and a knife. I walk back into the living room, and clink the knife against the glass.

"Okay everyone. Today at Tara's Kitchen, we will be serving spaghetti and garlic breadsticks. And for dessert I have a surprise for everyone," I say, trying not to hint to the fact that there's a big tub of ice-cream in my freezer just waiting to be opened.

Everyone goes back to talking, and Nicole grabs my arm and pulls me down to sit on the couch.

"So," Nicole said pausing, "I heard you got invited to VidCon next week!"

"Yes! And I'm so excited!" I say.

"Well, just watch out for fan-guys. They might try to flirt on you," she says.

"Oh, I don't think there'll be guys trying to flirt with me," I say looking down at my lap.

"Of course there will be! You're cute, funny, have a slight southern drawl, you have beautiful hair, and you have a good sense of fashion," Nicole said pointing to the dress and wedges I'm wearing.

"Well I don't know of I have a southern drawl, but the others make sense," I say, looking back up at her.

"Tara. Honey. You were raised in Tennessee, and I swear, if I walk into your bedroom right now, you'd have a camo comforter on your bed. Tara," she said, "you have a southern drawl."

"I do not," I said.

She gave an "oh really...." face, and after I thought about it, I did say ain't and ya'll a lot.

"I might have a tinsey winsey southern accent," I said putting my thumb and pointer finger close together.

After Nicole and I talked, it was time for dinner. Everyone gathered at the table and collab-dinner started off with my homemade spaghetti and garlic bread.

"Tara? You made this?" Marzia asks with her Italian accent, "And it's homemade?"

"Yeah, except for the noodles," I say, ""for the sauce, I used the canned tomatoes my mom gives me after her Spring garden finishes growing."

"Oh," everyone says simultaneously.

We get back to eating, and when everyone's done, Markiplier asks the awaited question, "So, what's the the special dessert you didn't want us to figure out?"

"Well," I say getting up and walking over to my freezer and opening it, "it's not necessarily special, but to me, it's considered family."

I grab the tub of vanilla ice-cream and hold it up. Everyone laughs as I grab bowls and spoons. They soon gather around as I start scooping ice-cream into the bowls. I hand a bowl to every person, and when I'm done, I scoop some ice-cream for myself. I put the ice-cream tub back in the freezer, and I walk over to sit down next to Nicole.

"Hey!" she says as I sit down.

"Her," I say with a spoon of vanilla ice-cream in my mouth.

"What did you want to talk about?" Nicole asks.

I swallow my ice-cream and speak, "I just wanted to tell you that I won't be here a couple of weeks after VidCon, because I'm going to Kate's wedding back home."

"Ohh, spill the beans," Nicole says.

I tell her all about when and where the wedding takes place, Connor, and how I'm going to be Kate's Maid of Honor. All while she's clapping as of her life depended on it in the background. She stopped clapping a few seconds later, after I gave her an "are you done" face and got up to put my bowl and spoon in the sink.

After an hour or two of chatting with my friends, especially Nicole, everyone left, and I was worn out. I looked at my clock, and it read 9:38 pm. I walked into my room, kicked off my wedges, and slipped into my pajamas. Well, I consider them pajamas. I slipped on a t-shirt and a definitely not matching pair of sport shorts, and went straight to bed. I didn't even bother cleaning the bowls and spoons that were still sitting in my sink.
