There was a gap between the rocks that was covered with green vines that made the illusion of a solid rock wall. Wes pulled the vines to the side to reveal land on the other side of the rock wall. Thomas was rested up against a rock, while Julia had been fiddling with grass out of anxiety. She ran to me with open arms and I could not resist to huge her back.

"Bet we gave you a fright, huh?"

"A fright! Try a heart attack, just happy to see that y'all are ok"

"Well we are thanks to Wes"

She looked past me to him in admiration, but I still did not trust him. I walked over to Thomas and asked if we could speak.

"There is NO way we can trust him!"

"Now Sam, not everyone is out to get you. There are still good people in the world!"

"Good people in the world don't wear Griffon armor and serve a she devil", I gave a hard stare towards Wes.

"Sam, he did not have to save us or even give a warning but he did. Fate has brought him here"

"Fate. Ha. Fate hasn't ever done me good or in fact helped me out. All fate has done is create a mess, in which I somehow have to clean up"

This made Thomas laugh and he continued.

"Oh young Princess Sam, what a predicament fate has forced upon you. Just a girl with no army, no title, no castle, no home, and no hope. What is a little girl to do?"

"Get to the point Thomas because so far all you're doing is agitating me"

"Yes well what agitates me is that you haven't opened your eyes"

"Opened my eyes! What are you talking about?"

"Three.. You have three people that have stuck with you, protected you, and aided you. They have hope in you Sam so why can't you have hope in them"

He gave me that condescending look knowing that he was right. I sighed.

"Alright Thomas, so what do we do now. She knows that either Sam or Star lives around this area and she will send more guards this way"

"I think it is time for the rightful Queen to reclaim the thrown"

I couldn't help but let out a laugh while I looked up at him.

"Ohhh so now I'm ready with a wounded arm and back. A burnt down house and a possible traitor at my side. Great timing Thomas, I was ready years ago"

"No, no you weren't. You've endured exile, lose, pain and suffering. You are trained well in combat and also have a warlock as an aid"

"You mean Aron? I wouldn't call him an asset more like a pain in the ass"

"Well that pain in the ass is going to help you find Aries"

"Aries?"

"Ahhh so she doesn't know everything. Aries, the sword you will need to cut down the witch that stole your throne. Only the sword of the God of war will help you so I suggest you get a move on"

Thomas handed me a backpack and gave me a huge.

"You are the only person to bring this kingdom back to glory and out of the dark cloud Demetria has brought us into"

His eyes were full of hope and love.

"I won't let you down Thomas"

He smiled, "I know".

I grabbed the back and hugged Julia. She had tears in her eyes and I wiped them away.

"I will be back for both of you and y'all will live with me in the castle. For now take care of your father and be strong"

She nodded her head and sniffled. Then it was time to deal with the Griffon guard.

"Hey pretty boy. You're coming with me"

He raised his eyebrows, "Me?"

"No the rock next to you. Yes you! I'm not leaving you here with them and I'm certainly not letting you go report back to Demetria. I would rather keep an eye on you."

Wes grinned, "Want to keep me close, huh?"

I rolled my eyes and continued walking. I could hear him running to catch up to me. The time had finally come for my destiny to start and I have been craving for the adventure to start. Now to find that apprentice.
