As I tucked Jasper in, I turned on his lightning bolt night light. "Momma." He said pointing to the story book Zeus gave him. I reached for it, and opened it up. "The Heroes Of Olympus. The great us." I red. "The seven demigods, children of the olympians were chosen to save the world from the evil Gaea. They lived hard lives full of determination and courage."
I said. "The seven, the greatest and well known demigods known to earth. After two young men brainwashed by Hera, they split into opposite camps. Perseus Jackson, son of Poseidon." "Percy!" Jasper said. "And Jason Grace, son of Jupiter." Jasper got up and pointed to Jason. "Daddy." "That's right. That's your dad. Good job Jasper." He laid back down.
"The rest of the seven had lived on the Argo II, found by one of the seven Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus." "King!" Jasper pointed to Leo. "Dang it Leo, he red this to you didn't he?" Jasper nodded. "During the years of the seven, one child had another quest. The mark Of Athena."
I pointed to the coin picture. "One of the seven, Annabeth Chase was put to this quest by her own mother. Asking to avenge her, Annabeth was the only one who had survived out of every Athena child." "Annie." He pointed. I nodded. "One of the seven had also another quest on mind. Who's brother was in danger!"
I turned the page. "Daughter of Pluto stood up and made a promise to save her brother Nico Di Angelo." "Hazel!" He said pointing to her. "One of the seven also had Hazel's trust. Who gave her a stick to protect." "Frank!" "Good job! You're really smart Jasper!" Jasper laughed and pointed to the book for more.
"And finally, the daughter of Aphrodite. Her special power was a big part of the quest. Charmspeak, allowed for her to say what she wants and the person to obey. It was a strong power that laid on her shoulders." "You! Mommy!" Jasper pointed to the picture of me.
"Yeah monkey! That's me!"
Jason stood by the door way smiling and listening, Alice in his arms. Alice Oliviana Grace, born February 21st. She had my color hair of brown, and Jason's blue lightning eyes. "After the whole world was saved, and Gaia fell back asleep, the seven settled down and had a family. Most of them, but they still stood as powerful people. And no one, will ever forget the Great Seven. The Great Us, the end."
Jasper clapped, and cheered. "Okay. Time for bed!" I kissed his forehead and Jason did the same. "Night buddy!" Jason said. As we shut the door, I looked at Alice as she smiled. "We did it Jace, we created a family." I said. "I'm so proud of us. And after fighting all those years back, we finally get our peace." Jason leaned in, kissing me for a long time. Then we realized Alice was still here and laughed.
"Let's put her to sleep and go finish in the room." Jason said raising an eyebrow. I hugged him first, and kissed his cheek. "I love you, Sparky." I whispered. "And I love you Beauty Queen. I always have." He kisses me back and we take Alice to her room. Yeah, this is my life so far. And I love every second of it. My family, my friends, my kids, and my husband. THE END
