Dandelion Fields

Hughs POV;

I smiled as I ran through the bright meadows shouting "Coming ready or not!" tracing the bright green path that stood out from the entire blooming meadow that we were currently located in, I mean technically it wasn't cheating as it wasn't my fault she lit up the greenery (literally,) searching hard, I was sure I was on her trail, but as I came up to where the brighter path stopped suddenly. Looking around I couldn't help but notice that the world wasn't as bright as it was before, her missing presence suddenly making the world a hell of a lot duller, tears dripped down my cheeks falling like the petals of a flower, everything came back to her, every fucking thing came back to her. How her smile light up the place, the aroma of nature that lingered wherever she went. But I was without her because I FUCKING COULD NOT TREAT HER GOOD ENOUGH, BECAUSE OF ME SHE WAS WALKING THROUGH THESE FUCKING DANDELION FIELDS WITH SOMEONE ELSE! Then the truth struck me like lightning to a tree. I LOVED HER AND SHE, WAS TEARING ME APART.

"BOO!" her voice brought me out of my thoughts as I turned around to face my girlfriend "you have been crying," it wasn't a question but a statement as I lifted my left hand to feel tears proving that she was correct. I pulled her close so that she was hugging me, something she would only let me do.

"Please don't go, I love you so fucking much," I was crying, even more, and I could tell she was too.

"I love you more." We stood there for a while hugging, knowing the other so much not needing to speak, standing in a dandelion field.
