Blood(y) suckers

So I will make it short, because I'm probably the most boring main character ever created. I'm 17, I live in England and my name is, let's say Vanessa. Yes my parents actually gave me this generic, obvious name. They didn't love me. Enough about me. You probably want to know how it is to live surrounded by vampires? Well it sucks. You want to stop reading? Okay.

So you're still here? Finally. So as I was saying living with those bloody suckers is horrible. It's not even about them per se, but the girls who swoon over them! They're the most annoying thing. I mean some of these guys are damn stupid and think they're the kings of the world, which isn't the most pleasant thing either, but if I had to choose I'd rather move to Alaska, but since my parents hate me they're forcing me to stay in this hell of a place.

My life is honestly a mess, I hate school, and I actually want to burn this building. With fire. It may be because I'm not the prettiest so I don't really have friends, or because everyone and everything about this place is annoying the living hell out of me. It's probably both. I literally have one friend, she's a mess too. I mean people at school either hate us with passion, or ignore our whole existence. I mean they probably hate us too, but they don't want to dirty their hands. Or whatever, I honestly don't care.

Apart from swooning over guys, everything is basically banned in this school. Thank God! If I had to watch more than that I would probably sacrifice myself to a shrine and ask to be fed to wolves or something. Which I actually considered after I witnessed something that I shouldn't. I started to regret my life choices after that day. You may ask: But Vanessa what did you see? Well let me tell you!

I was ready and oh so happy to go to school! I hope you felt the sarcasm. I wore some shirt that was literally laying on the chair in my room, old jeans and sneakers. I really didn't care much about how I looked, if I didn't stink and my clothes didn't look as if I pulled them out of a trash can, I was fine.

It was raining outside, so... I didn't give a damn and just started walking. The day was going as usual after I arrived at school. Lessons, screams of fangirls, more lectures, and then lunch. My dear Jesus. Lunch. Me and Sarah (my friend that is one of the few normal people in this school), usually went out to eat lunch, but since it was raining we had to stay inside. It's a nightmare, but we managed somehow. When the lunch break was about to end I decided to go the bathroom. That's when everything started to go down. I was just walking towards the bathroom, innocently, not expecting a thing.

I went in. I saw a dude. He was holding another by his neck. I went out.

I took a deep breath. I went back in. I hurried to the stall. I felt like throwing up. Gross!!! Why where they in the girl's bathroom?! I heard knocking on the stall door.

"Fuck off!" I yelled.

The knocking didn't stop, so I opened the door. Pissed out of my mind. I must've looked scary, because this guy took a step back.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"You saw everything right?" He said.

Well no shit Sherlock. I didn't want to see it, but I did. I hated it.

"Yeah, I did. It was gross." I bluntly replied as I started to walk out the bathroom.

"Wait! Where are you going?" He tried to stop me. He must be stupid.

"I'm going to my next class, where else should I be going in a school? I suggest you do the same or not. I don't really care." I took a step and felt something wet on my foot.

I looked down. I stepped into a pool of blood! How?! Why?! Holy mother of Jesus!!

"You... Are... So... Dead..." I yelled as I slowly turned to face the guy again.

"I tried to tell you!" It didn't make me calm down at all.

"IF YOU WERE TRYING TO STOP ME, THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT THERE IS A POOL OF BLOOD ON FRONT OF ME, AND INSTEAD JUST ASKED WHERE I WAS GOING?! ARE YOU RETARDED OR SOMETHING?!" I felt the fear in him, I smelled it.

"Sorry?" He was actually terrified.

"Is that all?! How am I supposed to explain this? You think anyone would believe that I just stepped in a pool of blood, in girl's bathroom at that?! In a school full of god damn vampires?!"

"Yes?" This guy is unbelievable.

"You are such a retard. I still have two lessons left. Jesus. What to do?" I started to think.

What I didn't do though, was realising that this guy was literally on his knees in front of me. My first impulse was to kick, so I did. I heard a groan of pain.

"What do you think you're doing?! You're really getting on my nerves." I sighed.

"I wanted to take your shoe off." He said as if it was the most normal thing to do to someone you just saw for the first time.

"You're a freak, why would you want to take my shoe off? I know it's covered in blood, but gee calm your horses."

"Just either let me take it off, or do it yourself!"

"Why should I listen to you?!"

We started to argue. He was trying to take my shoe off, I was kicking him like a fucking horse. We were both so consumed in the fight for my shoe we didn't hear the bell and just kept going.

"Jesus!! Just let me take it off! You crazy woman!"

"No! You're a freak! Stop trying!"

Well he didn't stop. He eventually took it off, he was breathing heavily, visibly tired.

"Give it back!"

"Gee why are you so feisty?!"

"You just stole my shoe! Give it back!"

"No."

He had the bravery now huh? I don't think so! I've had enough so I tackled this sucker and tried to take my shoes back, but he threw it out the window. He. Threw. My. Shoe. Out. The. Fucking. Window.

"You, are giving me a ride home today, and you're also buying me a new pair of shoes." I said as I gracefully walked out with only one shoe on and mad like the freaking hatter.

I don't think I need to tell you how awkward it was when I went inside the class. Sweaty, angry, and having only one of my shoes on.

It was very awkward. I said sorry and sat down. Some people gave me weird glances and whispers went around the class.

I made notes, wrote down the homework, packed my things and went out as soon as the bell rang. I went out the building. I saw the guy from the bathroom. He was standing next to what I assumed was his way of traveling to school... I was shook.
