Save me

chapter 3

As I'm walking home I guess I have alot of time to think,and by the time I get home I'm so angry at mum.

I get out my keys and let myself in to the tiny apartment breathing in the usual smell:Coffee and hair dye,courtesy of me.I' am forever changing my hair color,last week it was bright green now Its purple with darker streaks of purple through it.My hair is long,about up to my waist.

I throw my shoes and clothes into the laundry and run down the tiny hallway to my room,Mum hasn't noticed me yet, I don't think.So I go to have a shower trying to take as long as I can letting the warm water run over my freezing body.

I stay in there for a least another 25 mins.

I hop out and slip into my Pikachu onesie.I spend like,10 hours of my day in this thing.everyday.I love it.I can hear mum down the hallway,with clattering pans and pots so I hop into and read for a while before I fall into a deep sleep 

I wake up to mum shouting down the hallway "Kat you had better be up its nearly ten!,remermber you have work on saturdays!"

shit.

I forgot about work.

I work at a local cafe down the steet called the "corner cafe"

mum got me a job there last year,Its not to to bad my hours are 10 to 4.I roll out of bed slowly groaning.I get my uniform out of my closet:A dark brown shirt with the logo at the top "the corner cafe" and a simple short black skirt and an white waist apron.I set the unifrom on the bed and go to have a shower,I decide to shave my legs,since summer is slowly coming round.geez,don't you just love being a girl?,ha.

I decide to pair the unifrom with my black Converse today then I put my uniform on and head to the bathroom.I end up wrestling with my dry knotty hair for half an hour and I eventually get it into to a fishtail braid going down my back.When I walk out I aviod eye contact with mum,I grab my sunglasses and phone of the bench near the door and walk out slamming the door behind me.

Its a lovely day out the typical sunny day,but its windy today, out of the corner of my eye I can see some purple streaks of my hair flying out from behind my ears.I get to the cafe and see I'm already ten minutes late,I can see customers lining up at the counter.I rush in and drop my phone down on my usual spot and start serving the customers,When I have gone through about ten people my co-worker and best friend tyler comes through.He is a waiter.He is 20 minutes late,he gives me a cheeky look before signalling the "If you tell anyone I will kill you"

I just laugh.A couple minutes later he comes through all organized,Luckily out boss louise,Hasn't noticed anything yet,she never does.She is always in her office watching youtube I always hear her.

Me and tyler just chat for the next 10 mintes till another another customer comes in

"omg" I hear Tyler wisper.

I just gawk at tis imtresting customer
