Emmet's P.O.V
I smirked as I watched Abigail gape at me, Angel howling in laughter after her little stunt. 'Was that really necessary Angel? The girl looks nervous enough as it is,' I chastised half-heartedly. She just kept laughing hysterically.
"Yes," I replied out loud, staring at the brunette still as I drank my tea. She blinked owlishly at me. My lips twitched up again. "I'll partner up with you if you tell me why I should work with you on this project and not Helen."
Realisation dawned on her face and she fumbled with her bag, pulling out a large box. I stared. There is no way that that fit in that bag and left enough room for her to fit the rest of her stationary. But then I remembered that she's a woman and their bags are bottomless. Hmph.
The box was wrapped in white paper with a small bow in blue on it. My name was scrawled on the front with blue marker pen along with a birthday message, despite my birthday not being until next week. I raised an eyebrow.
"Are you trying to bribe me?"
"Would you say no if I say yes?" She asked, her voice shaking slightly.
"Depends on what it is," I answered while taking the box. I carefully indid the tape and allowed the paper to fall to the floor. My other eyebrow shot up to join the other at the top of my head. I knew that Abigail came from a rich family but did she have to get me a $2000 video camera? (Not that I'm complaining.)
"Hmm. Fine, but you have to tell Helen," I eventually mumbled, taking the camera out of the box and powering it up. Huh, it lets me set a password on it? Nice.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" she yelled bouncing up and down on the sofa, making me glad that I put her coffee on the table instead of handing it to her. She sure has got a loud voice.
"Don't make me regret it. And you still have to tell Helen!"

"So, Abigail Parks? Why?" Kaito's voice asked as I enjoyed the Saturday morning, and the laziness it brings. Or tried to.
"She bribed me. Besides, she owes me if I work with her," I mumbled. The bed dipped down from Kaito's weight as he joined me in lying down. Kaito had been my partner in class last year and we made a good team, but I think we need to be a bit more social this year, it being our last year at this university.
He had tanned skin that carried golden freckles all over and was 6"1. He had a "Jock" build and could easily throw someone six metres or more. His hair was pitch black and his eyes were this smoky grey colour. Strong nose, strong jaw, strong face. He tended to wear darker colours, thought he does wear red or dark blue on occasion.
I heard a whistle. "Yeah, I can see what she bribed you with. Do you know that this costs $1999? It's the leading camera on the market!" He sounded amazed.
"I know. It's a pretty good deal right?"
"Let's just hope that she's not up to something," was the quiet reply.

A/N
May or may not come back and add onto this chapter so look out for it. Shorter than the last chapter because I didn't want to waffle on. If you haven't figured out by now there will be some references to Creepypastas in this. May make this a creepypasta fan fic.
