Three weeks.

Three weeks have passed since I've had any social interaction with Harry. In this week I have experienced more disappointment than I've ever felt in the other two combined. I've been replaying our time together constantly. So constantly, he has been the invader to all of my personal thoughts.

He hasn't shown to class. Usually, he would be in the seat right behind me, throwing tiny eraser shavings on my desk to work my nerves. Normally the action would irritate me to the point of near violence, but recently I've found myself missing the work. . . at least he'd be near me.

He hasn't been responding to any of my texts either. After the third day, I figured he didn't want to be bothered, so I stopped trying to reach him.

It has been hell trying to muster any normality in front of my friends. After the third day, they both were concerned - especially Alex. Lying to him seems so much easier now. Contrary to my once held beliefs.

Everyone around me seems to be unfazed by his absence. No one has spoken his name since. Many a times, I have had to remind myself that he was even real. It seems like he never existed. As if we were simply two ships passing in the dark night sky.

I didn't want to be too early for school today. I've done that way too many times these passed couple of days in hopes he would be there waiting for me. I don my light grey jacket and head outside.

"Park, where are you going?" Alex's deep, morning voice calls out halting my steps.

I turn around to face him, and can't help but smile at how disoriented he looks. Eyes squinting with a black robe on, his hairy legs making a hairy appearance.

"School," I announce. Although I'm heading to school a little late, it is undoubtedly still earlier than the norm.

"Late start?" He asks forcing back a smile behind his zoned facade.

I simply nod.

"Come here."

I walk into his arms and he wraps them around me. The action is simple, but somehow much more. We stay like that, just basking in each other's warmth, for at least a minute before he speaks up again.

"I'm here for you, you know that right?"

I shake my head.

"And you know I only want what's best for you?" he continues causing me to scrunch my eyebrows in confusion.

"Sure."

He doesn't say anything for a while before he decides to speak up again.

"I don't want you hanging around Harry anymore. He's not good for you," he breathes. I'm shocked by his clear utterance of distaste for the British boy. I don't want to respond, because I'm unsure of what will come out if I do.

"I love you," he continues kissing me on the top of my head. I remove myself slightly from his chest to smile up at him. I assuredly decide not  to comment on his words towards Harry. He's only looking out for me, and his first impression of the tatted boy is not the best.

"And Kate."

"And Kate," he chuckles, shaking the both of us slightly.

"I'm starting to think you like her more than me."

"Well, she does clean," I say jokingly.

"Hey! I bring in the dough!"

"I guess that is true."

"I let you drive my car," he continues, obviously trying to one up her.

"I let you sleep in my bed."
