Tyler's POV

To say I was surprised to run into Lacey here is an understatement. But a happy surprise, I haven't stopped thinking about her since we met. Which I'm kind of ashamed to admit. I introduced Lacey and Callie to my sister Bailey. She is two and a half years younger than me. We are really close. She was recently divorced so she and the kids are currently living with me. A few hours later after laughing, eating and drinking cocktails we are ready to leave. I offer to pay the check, Callie and Lacey object but I don't take no for an answer.

We walk out of the restaurant together and Callie calls a cab for them. I call my driver. I look back and see Callie and Bailey talking. I walk up to Lacey, "I'm glad I ran into you." I say.

"Me too." She says smiling.

I look down at her, she is so beautiful. I run my finger through my hair, hoping that she had a good time so maybe we can do this again. Stop you can't think like this she is your employee. Well I guess she's not yet, I just can't stop myself from thinking about her. I haven't met a girl like her in a very long time. "Hey I wondering if you wanted to go out with me on Saturday night."

She just stand there looking at me, "It's okay if you don't want to. I understand." I say.

She  laugh, wow she has a really cute laugh. Did I really just think that? I'm getting soft I've only known her for a few hours and I'm already getting changed by her.  "I would love to." She says.

"Good." I say, smiling a real genuine smile, "Put your number in my phone." I hold out my phone for her to put her number into. She takes it and adds her number in my phone. She hands it back to me and I smile. I hold it up and tell her to smile. She smiles brightly and I take a picture of her, I set it as her contact ID. I call her so she will have my number. She tells me to smile and takes a picture of me.

"The cabs here Lace!" I hear Lacey aunt Callie yell, breaking us out of our own little bubble which we were happily in.  Lacey and I say goodbye and she walks away from me. My car pulls up and Bailey and I get in. I pull my phone out and text Lacey.

Goodnight beautiful. I can't wait for Saturday. ;) -Tyler

She replies almost instantly, which I think is really awesome because that means she had her phone out still. I guess that doesn't really mean anything but it makes me happy.

Goodnight to you too. I am so excited for Saturday. :) What are we doing? -Lacey

If I told you I'd have to kill you. Sweet dreams Beautiful. -Ty

...sigh... be that way. But by the way I HATE surprises. -Lace

I laugh at this response, of course she'd said this. She's trying to get me to tell her. I'm not going to though. It will be so much better as a surprise.

Everyone says they hate surprise because they hate not knowing what's going on. If you want to go you will just have to wait and see. ;) -Ty

Fine! See you Saturday. Goodnight. -Lace

We have said goodnight at least five times. But goodnight Beautiful, see you Saturday. I'll text you sometime during the week with details. -Ty

After our conversation, I am smiling. "You like her don't you?" Bailey asks, as I turn my phone screen off and slip it in my pocket. I turn to look at her, she is smiling ear to ear.

"What would give you that impression?" I ask her.

She rolls her eyes, "Well maybe by the way you lit up like a Christmas tree when you saw her in the restaurant and the way that you can't stop smiling right now."
