Chapter 7 Eyes

Dianna P.O.V

My jaw dropped.

"This makes no sense," I say to myself. My mom has told me that she and Bella have never gotten along, but right in that picture it shows my mom as a high scholar taking a picture with her boyfriend, Valerie, and of course, Bella. Those were all the recognizable people anyway, there were about 3 other people. One I could guess was Valerie's boyfriend, a girl who looked very similar to my mom and a boy, with bright hazel eyes shimmering and had his head shaved.

"What are we going to do today." I hear a high pitched voice chirp.I drop the book and turn around to see Carly, holding a raggedy teddy bear in one hand and an iPad in the other.

"Well, I thought we could go outside into your backyard and play with water balloons?" I completely made that up because I actually have not planned anything for Carly,

"But we can't go outside.We are vampires, remember?" Marely says as she walks into the room.

"Yes, how can I forget that you are vampires, that's why you never go outside, even when it's dark" I smirk.

"What, that's not what I said, I go places!" Marely groans as she crosses her arms.

"Like I said the first time we met, I can tell you hardly go anywhere, now Im going to start filling up the balloons, who wants to help?"I say.

"I do!!!" I here Carly chirp again. I then seem to realize that jack was not around.

"Hey, where is your brother, Jack?" I ask Carly.

"He is at volleyball practice." Carly smiles as she grab's a balloon and fills it up with water.

8:00 pm.

"Finally, im back!" I jump onto the sofa. My mom breaks into the room. I then remember the picture.

"Hey mom, I found a book at Bella's house with a picture of you and her."I confront my mom. Have they really been friends, why would she keep this away from me.

"Well, you see. Bella used to be a white blood like us. But then I met Valarie, you know Valarie. I got really close with Valarie and Bella got jealous and was taken by the dark side. Literately. Bella, Derek and Skylar, a girl I used to be friends with, made the dark bloods. The dark bloods were a group of evil vampires over run by jealously and hatred. Derek left the dark bloods and has been looking for us ever since, to rejoin the white bloods. The dark bloods see this as there one way ticket into the camp, but Derek really has no idea where he is going. For all what we know, he could already be dead!" She exclaims as a tear runs down her cheek. I then remember the picture again. Bella, Valarie,a girl I did not know who might have been Skylar, and the guy with those hazel eyes.

"Skylar was your sister." I say. I remember the girl looking very similar to my mom.

"Yes, my own sister betrayed me." she sobs as I bring up one more question.

"How does Derek look like?" I ask. Her sad face turns into a slight smile.

"Well, his head was shaved and he had dreamy, oh so dreamy hazel eyes." My mom starts to blush.

"Mom, why are you blushing? We legit talked about someone who not only betrayed you, but your sister!" I scream in frustration.

"I can care less about my sister, she betrayed me first.But I guess I have one confession to make." She mumbles.

"Well, then. What is this confession you want to say, Im your daughter, your only daughter." I say. suddenly the rooms turns dead silent. My mom gets up and starts walking to the stairs with her arms crossed.

"I can't tell you, I just can't!" My mom sobs as she goes up the stairs. I hear the door slam.

I don't follow my mom, I simply go up the stairs to my own room and simply stared through the window into the forest. What is this confession that my mom can't tell me. Suddenly a figure appears in the woods. A guy, who then notices me. He smiles? I then notice his eyes. Those big, bright hazel eyes...
