The Rumbling stopped and Indigo turned her head to be millimeters away from the horn of a unicorn. Her breath came out cold and the everlasting spring started to freeze over.
Unicorns were powerful and emotional. As long as you kept them happy the world would stay as you pleased. But if you are them mad, they could kill everything you loved.
Indigo tentatively reached out and placed her hand on the forehead of the beast. Her eyes turned white as they rolled into her head and the animal transfered images into her mind.
First a war where it was unicorns battling humans. Then a king cut off a horn then a flash and a different king cradled his stillborn son as a the mother ran away. A flash and a unicorn horn touched her stomach. Flashing and a child is born then another and then bloodshed and a cold plague crept across the land killing or disfiguring all those it touched. Then a flash and it was Richard holding a dead child, flash and it was a new woman in the forest but the same unicorn touched her stomach. Flash to the natives in the palace hall and bloodshed. So much blood. And then. Then. No.
Indigo shrieked and pulled her hand away sobbing. She pulled Social Repose behind her and in between uncontrollable sobs that wracked her body she screamed out "No. I refuse your prophecy and fate. I love him. Get out of my lands and country. Leave now or you will all perish."
The unicorn stampede left. After a moment or two the world went dark for indigo. She fell to her knees in a blubbering mess.
How could she be so stupid. She had caused a war all because she loved someone destined for something more.
Indigo tore at the flowers incaseing her. The world was so quiet to her she hadn't heard anything, especially not Social Repose attempting to calm her down as she pulled so hard at the flowers she began to bleed from the stems.
Social Repose was so afraid that he did the only thing he could think of, wrap his arms around her so tight she couldn't move. She struggled for a moment before letting out a particularly loud sob and then letting her body fall back against him. Like she had no more energy and all she could bring herself to do was cry.
In the softest of whispers Indigo said "we have to go back. Galec is waiting."

Hey sorry its short but man that was one emotional rollar coaster. Like comment and follow.
