A species on fire
Lighting up the night.
Unbeknownst, to the awe and adoration of many.
Deep inside,
A burning pyre
Invisible, to the eye of others.
Just like stars and their light.
Wearing masks thicker than the atmosphere.
So even you yourself can't see the light within.
I don't how much wind it'll take to kock the ozone away from here
To the people of the earth
We are nowhere in Sight
Of the light
Of the sun
Or artificial luminescences that perhaps we've made to hide ourselves from ourselves.
