HM's and TM do not exist at this point. (I may take some liberties with the TM moves)
5 years later, Spark cycles into town. He's excited. Because they all chose such different paths, he hasn't seen his friends since the day they got their starter. He cycles across the gravel road, hopps of his bike and leads it towards the small field where they agreed to meet, so many years ago. His partner Raichu, ever the prankster, suddenly jumps out of it's pokeball, and jumps onto his shoulder.
He is much older yet still keeps his traditional style

His team now consists of Raichu, Infernape, Espeon, Mimicyu, Exeggutor and Donphan. His plan for a a team of people though, has not gone well. Whenevere he tells someone about it, they laugh at him, and no one wants to join.
He walks onto the field. Candela and Blanch are already there.

They run to embrace him.
"Hey guys", Spark says cheerfully.
"Spark it's so good to see you", Candela exclaims.
"Your late Spark", Blanche says cooly, but Spark can see the small smile she's trying to hide.
"I wann'a hear what you guys have been up to", Spark says excitedly.
