At Rumi's
Ikumu and Rumi are walking in the corridors of the first floor.
Ikumu: Thanks for holding on to my phone. I knew I forgot something!
Rumi: No problem......LOVE-BUG!
She smirks.
Ikumu: What? Wh...Where did you hear that name?
Rumi: Akimi texted you. I only read it by accident.
Still smirking.
Ikumu: Its not what it looks like, I swear!
Rumi: Ikumu, look at me.
Ikumu: What?
Rumi: Look. At. Me.
She grabs his face and turns it towards her.
Are you really gonna play that card with me?
Ikumu: Rumi I...
Rumi: Relax! I already knew.
Ikumu: You did?
Rumi: Of course I did. I'm not blind!
That and dad told me.
Ikumu: Anyone else know?
Rumi: If you mean Akashi, don't worry. He's as clueless as that guy that kept pointing the TV remote at the microwave.
Ikumu: Believe me, I really wanna tell him. Akimi is the one complicating things.
They arrive at the top of the stairs.
Rumi: Talk to her, then! Relationships are...
She turns to him, only to find him blankly staring down.
Are you OK?
He doesn't respond.
Ikumu, do you hear me?
Ikumu: I feel like....I've been here before.
Rumi: You were. Yesterday. Remember? You all slept here last night.
Ikumu: No. I mean HERE. On top of the stairs. Something happened here. Did...did something happen...last night?
Rumi: Something? No. Nothing happened.
Trying to stay calm and collected.
Ikumu: I don't know. Maybe I'm imagining things.
Anyways. I gotta go. See you later, OK?
Rumi: Take care.
She messes his hair.
Ikumu: Bye.
He goes down the stairs and exits the villa.
At Akashi's
Atsuo is sitting in the living room with Akimi, filling her in on her powers, while Akashi is leaning on the wall, listening.
Atsuo: I gotta say, it's actually quite rare for a chara master to have two charas born from one egg.
Akimi: You hear that Akashi? I'm a rarity.
Akashi sticks his tongue out, annoyed.
