It was only us three.
Simon, Brian, and I.
We were the closest of friends, practically inseparable and nothing ever seemed to tear us apart from eachother.I, Leon, the so called leader of the group. The smartest one, the most important key to keeping the group in check.
Simon is the second smartest. He's also the one who keeps the fun alive.
Brian is my big brother.
The one closest to me and the only one who knows my secrets deep down that I can't trust Simon with. Our lives were all so perfect. Just young teens living our lives to the fullest. Well, all of that changed after we found something that changed us forever.
Little did we know that life as we know it was just a candy, wrapped around a whole bunch of lies.

"Okay, Brian, smile at the camera." I laughed softly as I focused the camera's lenses and zoomed in on his face.
"Why do you have that thing anyway?" Brian grunted, rolling his eyes as he pushed the camera out if his face.
I forgot that Brian hates cameras and photos. He's the type of person who keeps himself in the background and away from most people. Must explain why he's such a dick most of the time when we try to have fun.
I zoom out and focus the camera again. I shift over to Simon who comes running from around the corner of the house.
"Oh that's great, you have a camera! C'mon I need to show you something out in the woods. It's some kind of sinkhole that opened up. There was a couple other people there but took off after I came for you guys.
C'mon hurry before someone else like the police show up!" Simon was more serious about this more than the time he first hit puberty and was so proud.
The look on his face was more excitement than surprise. And I don't take it as a good thing.I look through the camera and run through the woods, following behind Brian and Simon.
"Where is this sinkhole anyway?" I ask, zooming the camera on Simon's head.
"It's just around this boulder.." His head moved out of the frame and I zoom out, walking around the boulder were the large hole in the ground gaped.
"Woah, this is pretty sick, Simon." Brian leaned down and looked into the hole, a smile slightly staring to grow.
"Is it safe to go down there?" I ask nervously, the camera starting to glitch moments at a time.
"it's completely unsafe, c'mon!" Simon jumps into the hole along with Brian, both of them laughing loud.
"Come on guys this isn't funny, Brain's my ride back to our house!" I slide down into the cave, turning on the flashlight on the side."Guys where'd you go?"
I look through the camera and continue recording, hearing a deep hum that seemed to get deeper and more mind piercing as I walked deeper into the tunnel."BOO!!"
Simon jumped out from behind a rock, laughing as I scream and almost drop the camera."You stupid idiots are gonna get us killed one day!" I wipe the lens clean and look forward with the camera.
"Do you guys hear that?"
Brian groaned angrily. He seemed irritated as much as I was, grabbing his head and squeezing his eyes shut. That means I'm not the only one feeling this off sensation of fear, excitement, curiosity.I continued to walk in the direction of the humming noise, soon stumbling upon a wider tunnel that lead into a glowing cave.
I focus the lens on the ground, seeing trails of disturbingly large pawprints.
