Chapter Four

Kristin’s Point of View

Elias pointed a gun towards guys head. “All you have to do is tell me where Brandon is.” said Elias growing impatient.

“He said I can’t tell you where he is.” he beamed.

Elias rolled his eyes and shot him making me jump from hearing the shot. “Useless asshole.” mumbled Elias. “Jose clean this up.”  Jose nodded and went to start cleaning the scene up. Elias walked to the car and leaned against the hood. I grabbed his hand and played with his fingers.

“You okay?” I asked softly.

Elias nodded, “Just tired and frustrated from him not telling me where Brandon is.”

I softly smiled, “How about when we go home I’ll make dinner then we can cuddle?”

Brandon chuckled, “Sounds like a plan to me.” then softly kissed my forehead.

Elias and I were cuddling on the bed. My head was on his chest and I could hear his heart beating. I felt Elias playing with my hair.

“You like playing with my hair.” I said while giggling.

“It’s soft, what can I say?” said Elias quietly sounding tired.

“Go to sleep babe.” I whispered while looking up at him. Elias closed his eyes and heard his soft snores shortly after.

I woke up and didn’t feel Elias next to me. I groaned and got out of bed and grabbed a towel walking into the bathroom. I turned on the shower and took my clothes off and stepped inside the shower. I felt the warmness of the water hit my skin. I washed my hair and body then got out, wrapping a towel around my body. I dressed into leggings, a white tank top and a light sweater. I went downstairs and found Elias with a sheet of paper in his hand.

“What’s that?” I asked while walking towards him.

“Nothing.” he blurted quickly.

“Babe, let me see it.” I said reaching for the piece of paper. Elias shook his head.

“Just at least tell me what’s on it!” I exclaimed.

I heard Elias sigh. “They’re coming.”

I gave him a puzzled look, “Who’s coming?”

“The Devils Gang.” he muttered handing me the paper. I skimmed down the letter. It was basically threatening Elias to get out of town and handle some business with them, if he didn’t go they would kill me. I bit my lip. “I’m going out of town.” whispered Elias.

Justin’s Point of View:

I finished brushing my teeth and looked at myself in the mirror. My hair was a little messy and my eyes still looked tired. I groaned and left the bathroom and went into the kitchen opening the fridge to find nothing. “Great.” I murmured. I went back into my room and grabbed my wallet and car keys. I got inside the car and drove off.

I went inside the grocery store and looked around for some food, we didn’t really eat much at home. I quickly looked at everything that was on the shelves and with me not paying attention, I felt myself bump into someone.

“Sorry.” I mumbled and looked at the person to only find Kristin.

“Oh yeah, it’s okay.” she said while fixing her hair. Kristin looked up and saw me. “Oh hey Justin.” with a small smile.

“Hey.” I replied. I scratched the back of my neck, “So, watchu doing here?” trying to start a conversation.

“Just came here to pick up some food.” she giggled.

“Oh right.” I mumbled. Way to start a conversation Justin. Shut up.

“Justin?” I heard her soft voice. I shook my head,

“Oh, uh yeah?”

I said. “I said Elias is going out of town.”

 I scrunched my eyebrows, “For?”

She sighed, “He got a letter from a gang--well a threat letter.”  I raised my eyebrow.

“He also wants to talk to you…”
