My boots click clacked on the polished, cement flooring. My gun harbored my right hand while the phone had my left.
I was following Brooke's icon on the map. It was just a couple doors up the hall then to the left. It was a clear stretch. No one to stop me.
Which makes me question how much effort they're putting in to actually find the kids.
No wonder how they got away.
I picked up my pace, making it a light jog. When I finally made it to my destination, I placed my hand on the door handle after shoving the phone in my pocket.
I was feeling a little giddy on the inside. I didn't know what to expect. Will she have the door locked? Will I have to give her a password?
Is she gonna have her fucking hands all over my husband???
Let's hope not.
I took a breath, steadying my nerves. I then slowly turned the knob, barely making a sound. Pushing it open just wide enough, I slipped through and closed the door again.
Through the scattered towers of carts, I could see it.
Ohhhhhhhh chaos. This woman. This woman right here. She did it. She did the thing. What did she do?
SHE SAT IN MY HUSBAND'S LAP.
MY HUSBAND. MY "HE LIKED IT SO HE PUT A RING ON IT" HUSBAND.I watched as he pulled at the zip ties that held his hands to the arms of the chair he sat in. Brooke giggled, her butt grinding on his crotch.
Tee hee hee, my ass, bitch.
"Get off of me already,"Shadow groaned. "Why?"she asked sadly. "Aren't I turning you on?"
"Tch. Quite the opposite, actually. I'm disgusted,"he replied. "How? I'm way better than (Y/n)! I don't have all that baby fat and stretchmarks!"she snickered.
I could feel my face burning hot with embarrassment. I growled softly as my grip tightened around my gun.
Without one trace of hesitation, I stuffed my gun into my pocket and stomped over.
I'm surprised she didn't hear me. I guess she was too busy listening to the lies she was feeding herself.
When I was right behind her, I grabbed a fistful of her hair and dragged that bitch.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"she exclaimed before she hit the floor. I listened to her scream, and let her scratch my hand as I pulled her away from Shadow.
"(Y-Y/n)..."he stuttered, his eyes gleaming. Shadow gave me a smile, to which I returned.
"YOU FUCKING BITCH! LET ME GO!"Brooke belowed on the floor. I let her go, stepping around her and over to Shadow.
"Are you okay?"he asked. I kissed his lips, cupping his warm cheeks. "Mhm. I'm fine,"I smiled, pulling away and looking into his ruby eyes.
"You! God, I fucking hate you! Why can't you just die already?"I heard Brooke say. I turned to see her on her feet. She was putting her long locks into a ponytail.
"Because before I go, I have to beat your ass,"I replied, taking my knife out of my boot. "Tch! Oh please! You can't even beat your man's meat right,"Brooke smirked
I narrowed my eyes at her. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?!"I yelled. "I'm just in love with Shadow. I should've been the one to marry him! I loved him the most!"Brooke huffed, taking a blade from her thigh holster.
It was actually much larger than mine. Hers was a small machete while mine was only a mere hunting knife. However, that didn't stop me from walking towards her.
