"Oh! I thought you were dead!" my secretary sighed. She grabbed my bags, carrying them for me.

"Oh! Uh, who is this?" she asked, looking at Diana. 

"This is Diana." I introduced them. 

"Who is that?" Diana whispered in my ear.

"This is my secretary." I whispered back. She nodded. 

We all walked together to get Diana some new clothes, trying to fit her in if she was coming to the war with me.

I had waited outside for the time being, thinking about what I would do when the war ended. But that was when Diana crossed my mind again. Her long black hair, her smile, her eyes.. 

I shook my head, getting the thought out of my mind. Why was I always thinking about her? Was it because...? No.. It wasn't.. really?? I decided to completely drop the topic and go back inside to check on the 2 ladies. 

"Why is this taking so long?" I asked my secretary.

"She's almost done! She's just trying on outfit #283!" she answered, sheepishly smiling as she watched Diana walk out of the dressing area. I watched her walk out as well. She was... stunning. Her body armor covered by her new look. It wasn't exactly the most fitting for a woman in this time, but it would do for now.

I walked up to Diana as she stared at herself in the mirror. 

"Here, put on these." I got out a pair of eyeglasses and put them on her so that she would at least look normal. She smiled a bit, looking back at me.

She held her sword and shield as she tried to get through the doors. 

"That's not.."

"No.."

"Don't.."

"It doesn't go with the look..."

"At ALL.."

My secretary and I told Diana as she walked outside, tensely holding her sword and shield. 

"I'll take that.." she held Diana's sword and shield, hiding them in-between the bags. 

"Promise that you will guard it with your life.." Diana warned my secretary.

"Oh! Um..." she stuttered, confused. 

"Okay, let's go." I held Diana beside me by her waist, guiding her through the town.

Suddenly, I realized why I felt so strange when I thought about Diana.

I think I loved her.
