"I cannot believe this is actually happening Rachel." I said as my best friend, Rachel and I stepped into the cabin of the plane.
"Oh my god Julie this is insane! How did we actually convince our parents to let us go to LA?!"
We walked down the slender plane aisles and found our seats towards the back. As we sat down, Rachel and I immediately turned and gave each other the biggest hug. "HOW IS THIS REAL LIFE I CANT GET OVER IT" I screamed a little too loud but honestly I could care less. Rachel and I were LA bound and it was the best feeling ever.
Rachel and I were just about to start our junior year of high school. We have been hoping that we would be able to go to LA since January. Thinking about it everyday at school would honestly drive us insane because we wanted to go so bad. There were an endless amount of reasons we wanted to go to, but probably the most important: Matt Espinosa and Jack Gilinsky. Every since last summer, I have been obsessed with Matt. He's so amazing and us being the same age and having such compatible personalities literally makes us the perfect couple. Rachel and Jack would be insanely adorable too so it was our mission that we would meet them and hope to god that they would like us.
On the plane, we did all the normal things that we do, watch Endless Love and laugh for hours, but we couldn't stop imagining what was going to happen once we got there. All we wanted was to see Matt and Jack and spend time with them, but we were scared it wasn't going to happen.
As the plane was landing we were both thinking about all the excitement that could happen this week. We finally got out of our little town for a week together, tan and ready!
I said to Rachel, "This is going to be the best week of our lives, get ready."
We walked off the plane blasting Party in the USA the perfect song for us at the moment.
As we exited the plane, I thanked all the flight attendants then stepped off the plane. Walking down the long runway to the LA airport gave me the biggest adrenaline rush. Rachel and I could barely stand still because we were so excited to be here.
"We have to get our bags and then go to the entrance and find our taxi driver" Rachel says as we walk down a small ramp.
"Ah Ok let's go!" I yell a little too loud in public but honestly I didn't care because I was in a totally outgoing mood.

We got our suitcases and headed to the entrance of the airport. We start looking for a taxi driver holding a sign with our names on it.
"There he is!" Rachel says as she points to a man holding a big sign that says 'Juliette and Rachel.' We look at each other scream a little and then run over to our driver.
"Hello! I'm Juliette and this is Rachel."
"Perfect! Let's get going then ladies."
This is going to be the best week ever.
It took about 40 minutes for us to get to our hotel. We jumped out of the taxi and headed towards the lobby.
"Holy shit, Julie" Rachel says as we examine the size of the lobby.
We both laugh for a little and walk to the front desk.
"Ok I really don't know how to check in to a hotel." I say to Rachel because we have absolutely no clue what we are doing.
"Let's just go for it. We're in LA, remember? Total YOLO mode."
"HAHAHAHA ok let's go"

"Well that was easier than I thought" I say as we start walking to the elevator. We enter and push the button for floor 3. Just being us, we start laughing at how awkward we are. We try to hold it in so we don't make it obvious that we are laughing at the other people in the elevator.
Bing! The doors open at floor 3 and we exit, laughing as usual. At this point we are so anxious to get to our room that we are literally running down the halls to find our room number.
"This is it! Room 322!"
Rachel puts the key card into the door and flings the door open.
"Oh my god" we scream for a good 5 minutes while running around the room.
"Ok we have to stop someone's gonna file a complaint" I say trying to calm myself down.
"Let's unpack!"
