It was a dark autumn evening, orange and red leaves lay dead on the ground. Heart pumping of adrenaline, hot steam rises from her mouth as she ran.

Terrified of what might happen if she stopped. A growl was heard from the mists of the night. The moon glowed the path way through the mysterious woods.

Trees swaying against the wind. All that was heard was her panting and her feet running as fast as she could carry.

Hot tears flowed down her burning cheeks. Blood oozed from her leg and head. Soft golden brown hair flowing in the wind grasping the air around.

She glanced her head the opposite way she was running but only saw pure black, as if everything was vanishing behind her. She feared that if she stop she too would vanish from existence as well.

She ran and ran until she couldn't run much longer. She collapsed on the cold dead leaves, panting her heart out.

She turned her head once more to find burning green eyes staring her down. Steam escaped her lips once more as she breathes heavily.

The burning eyes began to get closer and closer towards her. Slowing stepping in the moonlight, revealing a pitch black wolf with hungry eyes ready to feast on its wounded prey.

The wolf leaped Into the air poncing on to her growling as if saying 'stand down you weakling'. Slowly the wolf opened its mouth revealing sharp and deadly teeth. He slowly began to dig his teeth into her neck making her scream in pain.

Blood now oozed out her neck as she began to loss her heart beat. She was numb she had no more breath to scream.

She just laid there as the wolf feasted on her, when a voice was heard in the darkness. Her eyes began to get heavy as her breath Slowed. "Is this what dying feels like?" She questioned herself.

Her eyes closed as she took her last breath. Her limbs went limp. The wolf continued to feast when he felt a throbbing pain on his head and stomach.

An arrow stuck in his side as the bleeding continued slowly, the wolf too was losing his life as he feasted on his last meal. Tears of pain flowed down his fur. Slowly his burning green eyes dulled  losing life in his eyes.

He  collapsed in the dead leaves of the night. Knowing well what was going to happen he said "at last I may join you my dear children, you have waited long enough for me" his eyes began to close as too he drew his last breath.

Gasping for air, Blair shoot up right, sweat beaded down her brow.  This was the fourth time she has had that dream, each time the wolf dies it feels as if death has claimed her for himself.
