Chapter 19 - Worry comes true

The school bell rang.

I went to the washroom first then went downstairs to get out of the school building. I made my way towards the school gate and noticed a crowd outside.

The crowd must be there for Suho. They are crowding around his car. He is really popular, like a celebrity already.

I was hesitated to go there at first, but later I took the courage and went into the crowd to pass through them and wanted to get in the car.

The action was wrong duh. I'm a fool.

I was pushed by the crowd and hurted my knees as I was punched right in the cheek by someone's elbow and fell right onto the ground.

It's hard to be short as you can easily be punched in the face by someone's elbow, like me.

Suddenly, I felt like someone lifted me up. I turned to look at the person and it was Suho. He made me stood and grabbed my hand, rushing to get into the car.

He closed the door and faced me, "You're being stubborn! I told you to wait for me"

"I wanted to avoid from getting the others' attention", I looked away, feeling guilty.

"And you think that is important while you got hurted?"

I remained silent.

"Am I really bad to you that you were trying hard to avoid from getting involved in scandals with me?", he sighed.

"No.. I'm sorry. I just don't want to trouble you"

"You are the one who is in trouble now. Does it hurt so much?" , he pointed to my knee.

"Just a little bit"

He took out a cotton bud and an ointment from the medicine box in the car. Then, he gently put it on the wound.

I whined in pain quietly.

"It will hurt a little. Just bear with it", he said as he put the ointment carefully.

I stared at him for so long. He is just perfect, really. I'm feeling so lucky now that I have the chance to spend this moment with my crush.

"You okay? You have been spacing out", Suho asked as he was done treating me.

"A-ah, yes I'm alright. Thank you", I smiled sheepishly and he smiled back to me as a reply

"We have arrived", the driver said.

"Do you want to get changed? I'm gonna take a shower in my room first", he asked as we are heading upstairs.

"Oh my! I forgot to bring my clothes", I panicked as I found that my clothes were missing in my school bag.

"It's okay. Do you want to get changed into my sister's clothes? She is studying oversea now and also short like you"

I glared at him when he said I'm short. "Sure, if she won't mind to lend some clothes to me"

He led me to a room and opened the wardrobe. He picked out a short pants and a short sleeve dress, "Here you go"

"Uhh, I'm sorry but.. those are quiet too short for me.. do you have something that could cover me more? Like a long legging or something..", I blushed as I stared at the short dresa.

"I'm sorry but you can't wear those. You hurted your knees quiet bad, dont you see? How do you expect to wear those long pants?", he raised his eyebrows.

He added, "Wait-- did you get the wrong idea of my intention? You think that I'm a pervert?! "

I almost panicked, " What? No! That's not what I mean! I just forgot that I hurted my knee"

He grinned, "It's okay, you don't need to be panicked"

Suho added as he handed the dress, "Here you go. The toilet is right there. Come to the studio once you are done. My room is right across this room, if you need anything"

It's not like I'm staying a night here though. What is there to worry about?

Just as he left the room, I yelled in surprise as I felt something licking my feet.

Gosh, it was a cat.

The door squeaked opened, "Are you okay?"

"Y-yeah. I was just shocked because of this cat", I put a hand on my chest as my heart was racing.

"Oh, that is Lola. My big sister's cat. The cat used to live in this room"

"Oh, I see.. "

He pointed at my knee, "Your wound. Is it fine now?"

"Yeah, it's recovering.. I hope so..", I smiled and he left the room. I locked the door and get ready for shower.
