The Prince's Mate

Chapter 1

Rebel's pov

I was sitting in the attic (I'm my mom's terms it was my room) when my mom yelled for me to get the mail. I crawled down and went to the door and for the mail. I saw a letter from the king so I hid it in my jacket.

I handed the rest of the mail to my mom then went back to the Attic. I sat down and open the letter.

It was an invitation from the King to the prince's ball.

I knew better than to ask my mom cause she would say no. I decided to sneak out to the ball to see if I could find my mate.

All the girls that could attend must go so the Prince could find his mate. I went down stairs and told my mom I was going shopping and she hands me some sunglasses. I walked outside and walked to the dress shop.

I wanted a new dress for the ball.

Ok so here is the reason my mom wouldn't let me go places without a disguise. Her mate (my dad) left her when I was born and she blames it on my and never wants me to find a mate and be happy. That's why I have to sneak out to the ball.

So anyway I entered the stir and looked at all the dresses. I only found one that I liked and decided to try it on. It was a dark teal and it has a silver sparkly belt around the waist part(in media). I looked in the mirror and decided to get it. After I bought it I went home. I hid the dress in a grocery bag so my mom wouldn't see it and get suspicious. I hope I can pull this off.
