CRONUS POV

My name is Cronus Ampora,
and I am hopelessly in flush with the one troll no one can attract...
Kankri Vantus, not that anyone else really tries to flirt with him.
I seem to be the only one suffering from his refusal to have any of his quadrants filled.
For instance, instead of having a morale he...
well he had a best friend actually,
but he refused to call them his morale. (Sorry if that's spelt wrong)

I was currently laying on the floor, staring at the ceiling.
I've tried everything to catch his attention!
Why won't he just see my flirting isn't just me playing around!
Sure I guess I used to be a bit of a "playboy" but come on I'm a greaser what do you expect?!
Ugh why can't he see he's my Sandy?!

I stand up and walk out the door,
If I don't leave now than I'll be late.
I rush down the sidewalk,
Though to anyone watching I looked completely cool.
I walked up to Kankri's hive,
My face relaxed and cool but I was freaking out inside.
I knocked on the door and put a smile smirk on my face.

The door opened,
"Cronus, right on time for once. You know you should really try to be on time more it can trigger someone if you don't show up on time. Of course it doesn't trigger me I mean I understand that you have more important thing to do I mean your a purple blood and all you high bloods really look down on me not that I mind though it could trigger someone not that I mean to trigger you by comparing you to others and I'm ranting again aren't I?"
The red-blooded troll finished, biting his lip.

"Ya, but it's cool. I don't mind your ranting, and you didn't trigger me,"
I say leaning against the doorway,
"You look good today, newv swveater?"

"Yes, actually it is. Thank you for noticing. Forgive my manners! Please come in."
I nodded and and came in,
His hive was spotless as always.
"So, what is it you were wanting to talk to me about?"
Kankri sat on the couch and motioned for me to do the same.
His back straight, me slouching.
I could see him restraining from correcting my posture.

I sat up to save him the worry,
"Vwell, I just vwas vwondering vwhy you refuse to fill any of your quadrants? It must get pretty lonely."
He looked startled and opened his mouth to rant but no sound can out.
He was shocked speechless.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to be blunt but, I knowv vwhat it's like vwith empty quadrants."
I try to salvage the conversation,
Stupid stupid stupid!

"Well..."
He finally spoke, wringing his hands,
"I suppose I just don't really like anyone like that... and I don't hate anyone. So I suppose I've never really thought about quadrants. Of course I have plenty of friends, why would I be lonely?"

"I guess you do have Porrum and all, and your not exactly trying to avoid the others-"
I slapped a hand over my mouth,
know full well the rant I'm about to receive.

"Cronus, why would you avoid them. What if you trigger them? I understand you don't like everyone but you should make an effort to better your relationship with them not just avoid them entirely! I get that they are annoying sometimes and might not understand your... "greaser" ways and to be honest neither do I but I'm sure you could work out a-"

I cut him off, covering his mouth.
"Sorry but I couldn't stand it any longer,"
I remove my hand before continuing,
He seemed to shocked to speak,
"I can't stand them, they pick on me and I just keep throwving it back because that's vwhat Greasers do."

We stare at each other,
My good natured smirk replaced with a frustrated glare
And his controlled looked replaced by utter shock.
Really?
Again Cronus, come on get in the game!

"Sorry, I just couldn't stand you ranting to me vwhen you don't understand."

"I didn't mean to trigger you I just wanted to help because I knew you didn't have many friends but I guess it's not your fault if they don't like you for you and I'm ranting again aren't I?"

I smile then start to laugh,
I'm pretty sure I just triggered him twice but he's still the same old Kanny.
He smiled and chuckled with me,
His face relaxing into a easy smile.

"If you like you could spend the night... I know you don't like being alone."
I smirk and nod, my cool back.
"Sounds cool, vwe could hang out more."
He nodded and stood,
I watched as he dug through a basket of movies and pulled one out.

"Is that..."
"Grease? Mhmm, I was gonna watch it tonight. If you don't mind that is."
"It's the perfect plan!"
I let my Greaser cool slide,
Fangirling on the inside as he put the movie in.
Kankri sat on the opposite side of the couch as me,
He pulled his knees up to his chest.
Honestly he looked kinda cold.

"You vwant my jacket?"
I seemed to startle him,
But he nodded all the same and thanked me as he slipped it on.
He looked cute- no I can't think like that.
Kanny just wants to be friends,
I gotta respect that.

I watched the movie, at least I looked like I was.
Out of the corner of my eye I was watching Kanny.
He seemed to enjoy the movie.

Rizzo started singing her number and I was suprised to see Kankri mouthing along.

"There's worse things I could do,"
He sang quietly.
I wonder how he knew the song.
By the end of the song he was singing loud enough for me to hear clearly,
Though still really quiet.
I clapped after the song, making his cheeks flush red.

"It wasn't that good,"
He said nervously.
"Course it vwas good! It vwas amazing! Howv'd you knowv the song?"
He just shrugged,
I dropped it and turned back to the movie.

The dance off started and I got an idea.
"Hey Kanny, dance vwith me!"
I stood and help out a hand.
"I don't know..."
"Oh come on Kanny,"
I raised a eyebrow and smirked.
He sighed and took my hand,
"I've never danced before, so you'll have to teach me."
I can't believe I'm actually holding his hand,
I can't believe I'm gonna dance with him!
"It's easy, all ya gotta do is followv my lead. Right foot back, left foot side, left foot forvward, right foot side. Got it?"
He nodded and stiffened a little when I put a hand on his waist.

I moved to the music,
though I slowed the pace so Kanny could keep up.
He was a quick learner, though,
And soon we where moving at the same pace as the characters on the screen.
I threw in some spins and he went with it,
It felt good to have him trust me for once.
When the scene was over we sat on the couch laughing,
Kanny forgetting to scoot over so we ended up watching the rest of the movie side by side.
Well, I say the rest of the movie.
We ended up pausing the movie to get snacks,
Then we got distracted talking,
Well really he talked and I just listened.
I didn't mind though,
He seemed happy.

He paused in his rant about Johnny and Sandy to yawn,
Then blush a bright red.
I guess he's tired.
"If your tired vwe can sleep, vwe'll finish the movie later."
He nodded and I went to sleep on the couch,
Kanny had given me a extra blanket and pillow.
As I closed my eyes and drifted off,
I couldn't help but smile.
Maybe just being friends won't be as hard as I thought.

Right, so I think I got the timing right on the movie. If not just fix it in your mind. Anywho, hey guys. I'm Kat, or Nep, I answer to both. I know this isn't the best, but it's a lot better then my past story's I've written so I think I'm actually gonna publish this one. Also if I rant in an A/N, that's kinda because I'm pretty much Kanny. Which is kinda why I had trouble thinking like Cronus for this chapter. It helped that I watched Grease yesterday I guess. I don't know why I'm telling you this, you probably don't care, I bet most of you won't even read this. I guess it's just a way to get things off my chest? Idk.
