I gripped the hot door handle, and quickly pushed it open to the smell of dirty mop water, stale used air freshener, and pizza with too much grease. Perfect.
I rummaged around the candy isle, knowing that I shouldn't, but doing so anyway. I settled on a king sized Reeces Fast Break, then headed to the pizza isle.
There was a man in the freezer section, and me being afraid of people, I couldn't ask him to move, so I pretended to use the ATM. I ended up withdrawing 200 dollars before I started to question why he was taking so long.
I walked behind him, and tried to peek at what was taking him so long. He seemed to really be enjoying the cool air of the freezer. He was breathing heavily, like he had just been on a run. I looked at the large man, and noticed that there was a small patch of hair on him. Out of bad habit, I grabbed it, trying to pull it off. The hair seemed to be attached, and the man whipped around, scaring me soulless.
"Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to scare you!" I instantly started to apologize.
"N-no! It's my fault! Sorry, I've been standing here forever! He-here." He stuttered, taking a deep breath. His eyes were a shade of amber, which was unusual by itself, but his soft smile and apologetic attitude made him seem soft, and sweet.
"Yes, thank you. Sorry again," I blushed as I squeezed past him, reaching for a large cheese pizza, and quickly passing him again.
"Thank you," I smiled, walking back to the counter to pay for what I all bought.
The cashier was really nice, but I couldn't hear a word they were saying, because my mind was consumed with the wonder of that guy in the freezer section with the good ass. I paid for my food, took another look, but his eyes were turned from me, and back rummaging through the pizza. I smiled, then returned on my way home.

What was I thinking?! They were right, you can't use your powers unless it's absolutely necessary, and now I just completely embarrassed myself in front of a beautiful woman. I only looked in her eyes for a few moments, but I could see that something was different in her's than what I've seen from others.
It was something like, I don't know, loss? Grieving, but there was also beauty, and grace, and happiness. How can someone possess so many emotions in one single body? It was almost as if she had powers herself. I know that's impossible.
I was distracted to hell by that one girl, that I almost got hit by a damn car on the way home. I only live about three blocks from the gas station, but it seemed like an eternity waiting to get home and tell the guys about this girl.

"Jesus Evan, you're excitable!" Brian said, jumping back from the door that Evan flung open as it slammed against the wall.
"I have something to tell you guys!" Evan said, from the kitchen, while ripping the pizza packaging, and throwing it into the oven. He ran out while the bag was rustling with our snacks.
"He's in love!" I cheekily smiled, looping my arm from around Delirious.
"H-How, wait- huh?" I completely took the words out of his mouth. They all looked at me, and my exposed eyes over my sunglasses.
"Don't use your powers unless it's necessary!" Delirious said, pushing the glasses back up on my nose, whilst we were both laughing.
"I didn't need mind-reading to know that," I giggled, lowering my glasses again, showing my eyes
