Laugh all you want

Emma's POV:

It's been a week since we visited Taylor yet she's still sick. Yesterday I  brought her, well actually dragged her to the hospital for a check-up. She had this fear of needles that's why she never wants to have a check-up.

I have to drag her all the way to my car and even lock it for her not to escape and to drag her again to the hospital.

After the check-up the doctor said there was nothing wrong and that it was just a normal cold and fever. When we went out of the hospital I heard her say that it's a good thing that she wasn't given a shot or else it would be her worst nightmare. I just laughed.

But today I guess I couldn't visit her because I'm going to be really busy because next week is our 1st quarter exam. So, I should study hard.

Even at my frees or lunch break I can never get my nose out of the books. During one of my frees I was studying at the locker hall. Someone tapped me on the shoulder. It was Tom. "Hey! Can I study with you?"– "Sure, we can help each other." I happily said. It was nice to see Tom. I always find him fun to be with. I even think that maybe I can trust him totally like 100%. While we were serious while studying, it suddenly started to be fun. We suddenly start telling jokes, and telling all the funny memories we had since childhood. We keep on laughing that our tummies started to ache. I think we were noisy because one of the teachers looked at us and gave us a "hush" sound and walked away.

We ran outside so that no class will be disturbed. We both had a contest who will hold their laughter more longer. Tom won so I had to treat him lunch as the price.

While we were walking towards the cafeteria Tom said "You know, it's the first time that I ever hear you laugh."– "Ohh.... well...yeah. I rarely laugh. Nobody ever has ever see or even hear me laugh." I shyly said. "Not even Anthony or Taylor?" he asked with a surprised face. " Well, except for them. But this was my first time that I really laugh so hard that made my stomach ache." I laugh again Tom joined me too.
